  1. Hi, XP or Vista?
  2. Hi, What version is the last version? Thanks,
  3. False positives, guys!
  4. Hi, Workgroup names the same?
  5. Hi, This is a case where the SP1 stand alone is recognized as a bit different than the SP1 included in Acceleration. Uninstall Acceleration, install the SP1 stand alone from Microsoft and then install Acceleration. Then ASA should run. If this doesn't work, then please drop me an e-mail: jim(AT)hifisim.com Thanks,
  6. Hi Peter, This is mainly an FSX SimConnect issue. Pete and Damian from HiFi started letting Microsoft know about this issue with what Pete, Beta 1 of FSX? One help is if you have a registered copy of FSUIPC to use the wind shift speed and direction settings and slow the process down. Another thing is to know that we at HiFi are continuing to work on this issue for ASA. Thanks,
  7. Hi, Set up a flight, save the flight with the Make Default box checked. Also set the time in FS to FS time and not system time.
  8. Hi Pete, I thought Windows version 5.1 is Windows XP, so he is not using Vista. Also, he has not patched his FS9 version to 9.1. I wonder if that is why his programs do not work.
  9. Hi, WideFS does not move or display any FS content to your second computer screen. What WideFS is for is installing 3rd party programs on your secondary machine and then communicating with FS which is on your main machine. It looks like you misunderstood what WideFS does or is used for.
  10. Hi, 1. What is the latest version number you are using? 2. All you need to copy and paste is one file: the FSUIPC.dll file. Is that what you are doing? Thanks,
  11. Hi, No, just FSX and FSUIPC3 for earlier versions of FS.
  12. Hi, No issues between 32 and 64 bit.
  13. Hi, Wouldn't you think it is up to Wilco to fix their product and not Pete?
  14. Hi, Pete will chime in here, but if he programmed things according to mathematical rules, -2 is greater than -15 so it should have a larger effect. Sometimes we all forget what negative numbers really mean!! Thanks!
  15. Hi, In the ASv6.5 manual.
  16. Hi, Looks like server and client are connecting fine. Now just run ASv6.5 from the client and if you have ASv6.5 set up correctly it should connect to FS04. Same with SB.
  17. Hi, Just download the latest version, 3.80. Unzip the downloaded file and copy and paste just the FSUIPC.dll into your FS/Modules folder. No new purchase is necessary. Don't remove anything. For security reasons you shuld update to SP3 for XP. Thanks!
  18. Hi, Please show me the lines that say that SquawkBox(SB) is connected on both.
  19. Hi Bill, In FSX on a flight screen do you have the Addon menu and is FSUIPC listed?
  20. Hi, On both machines have you allowed access through the firewalls?
  21. Is SB allowed on both firewalls?
  22. Hi, Is FSUIPC.dll in your FS04/Modules folder?
  23. Hi, Are the firewalls on both machines allowing WideFS access?
  24. Hi, Firewall on the WideServer machine allowing access?
  25. Hi, Your 2 screens are attached to the same computer or do you have 2 networked computers with screens and wish to link them together in order to run certain FS software on the second computer?
