  1. Hi, You need to write SimMarket.com. But they are very clear that all sales are final and no refunds are given for downloaded software.
  2. Hi, Look in the zip file that you downloaded. The manual is in there. Edit: And the new info above! Thanks,
  3. I think what you should be looking into is Wide View for FS.
  4. Hi Pete, When you have time, run your ASA and go to LGAV in FS04. Do you have LGAV as an airport in FS? See if the ASA data matches up with WS2 for you. I now see that LGAV is not a specific station that WS2 recognizes and yes, it was reading my location. But it was reporting the correct conditions, so for the OP, the data is correct and his 3rd party software should be using this data correctly, even though it is based on his location. Thanks,
  5. Pete, Here is what I get. It is an airport and it is a data station in FS04. All I am trying to show is that ASA does pull LGAV weather, FS04 recognizes LGAV and WeatherSet2 does correctly recognize the data. We are dealing ing with this here, at our forum and through e-mail and it is getting a bit confusing.
  6. Pete, If you go to LGAV in FS04 and use ASA you will see that the weather reported in WeatherSet2 is exactly what ASA is reporting and also what shows up in FS. Thanks!
  7. Hi, In FSUIPC, default settings and weather settings off. Then let Active Sky control things. Thanks,
  8. Hi, Right click on the Installer Icon and Run......As Administrator.
  9. Hi, Let's try again! Start a flight in FSX. Get the Menu bar to be visible where it says Flights--Aircraft--World--Options and so on. On the right side does it say Add-Ons?
  10. Hi, In a FSX flight on the menu bar, do you have a Add Ons portion and when you click on it does FSUIPC show up?
  11. Hi, If there is, it would be through SimConnect. Pete is away for awhile, but in the meantime that is where you might look. Thanks,
  12. Hi, Also, make sure that the firewalls on both machines are allowing access. Thanks,
  13. Hi, Traffic programs install AI Traffic into FS and are not running while you run FS. Thanks
  14. Hi, In FSX during a flight, do you have a menu item called Add Ons? And is FSUIPC one of the entries? If yes, then FSUIPC.ini will be in the FSX/Modules folder. It is the file with the little orange gear on it.
  15. Hi, There is now an installer for FSUIPC4 that you run to install it. To register FSUIPC4, you purchase a new key from SimMarket. You cannot use your FSUIPC3 key in FSUIPC4. Thanks,
  16. Hi, If you think it is ASv6.5 causing this, please drop me an e-mail with your temperature data. Happy to take a look. jim(AT)hifisim.com
  17. Hi, You don't purchase FSUIPC, but just a registration key if you need to. The English version is here: http://www.schiratti.com/dowson.html Thanks,
  18. Hi, For FS04 you need a a registered version of FSUIPC by purchasing a key and purchasing a key for WideFS. Now, if you want to count this as one or two purchases , it really doesn't matter. What matters is that you have a key for FSUIPC 3 and a key for Wide FS 6.
  19. Sorry, but no idea. Going to need to wait for Pete to return over the weekend.
  20. "I am therefore assumming that I do not need to purchase FSUIP3! Is this correct?" If you want to run any software over a network with FSUIPC3 and FS04, you will need to register FSUIPC 3 and WideFS 6 by purchasing keys. You need to purchase another key because FSUIPC 3 and FSUIPC 4 are different pieces of software for different versions of FS. FSUIPC 3 will not work with FSX and FSUIPC4 will not work with FS04.
  21. Hi, That is correct. WideFS6 and FSUIPC3 are for FS04 and require 2 key purchases, though SimMarket may have a bundle deal. WideFS7 and FSUIPC4 are for FSX and require 1 key purchase. Because they are for different versions of FS, they require separate licenses and purchases.
  22. Hi, Look for FSUIPC.key file in your FS/Modules folder. If FSUIPC is registered, the file has to be there. The version error may be due to your "bad" key file.
