  1. Hi Tony,

    for version 8.x, you get the help that we can afford.

    But if providers such as NOAA for Weather, FAA for Natracks and Pacot or Ivao/Vatsim for online flying, change there data format,

    then no update for the old version 8.x is available.

    These updates are designed only for the new, current version 9.x. Details for further development you can read here:

  2. Hi Dougal,

    I think I have already explained this once.

    In your Scenery.cfg there are entries so the network can not be interpreted. Example:

    Local=E:\FS ADDONS\AddonScenery2\UK2000 Glasgow FSX FREE or

    Local=E:\FS ADDONS\AddonScenery2\Seychelles Parts 1-11

    How should a network which is mounted to X:\\ recognize a drive which then becomes: X:\\E:\ ... etc.

    You must remove any leading drive names in your Scenery.cfg.

    Example from above:

    Local=FS ADDONS\AddonScenery2\UK2000 Glasgow FSX FREE or

    Local=FS ADDONS\AddonScenery2\Seychelles Parts 1-11

    You see the difference?

    Regards,

    Volker

    Edit: download and install the latest bugfix here:

    http://forum.simflight.com/topic/67825-flightsim-commander-ver-90-bug-fix-2011-03-16/

    and run the DataBaseManager again

  3. How do I save flight plans in the FS Planner like the manual says on page 116? I am trying to save for quality wings 757, but the only way to save is in the .RTE format!

    I am using win 7 32 bit. version 9 of FS cammander.

    Hi ???,

    we do not know what flight plan format the AddOn quality wings 757 are using.

    Read the aircraft manual again, maybe the aircraft using the standard FSX flight plan.

  4. hate to be a bore but in manual top option button lists f:fsx_xp_09

    This is an example and is showing my settings because I never install software under c: \ Program Files and give the folder it's own name.

    With the top option button you set the path where your Flight Simulator is installed. This folder is used by add-on aircraft such as PMDG or Level-D. The above screenshot was taken with a database for Flight Simulator X. - from manual

    my fsx flight sim is under c:\program files\microsoft games\microsoft flight simulator. am i missing something??

    I repeat, if the settings match with the manual and it does not work, then I can not help you.

    It works with all other users. Maybe a problem with your UAC or Virtual Store.

    Volker
