Change Departure Runway

FS1TR

I have found that if you issue the command to pushback to one runway and then decide to change it by mistake or purposefully, you can just tell them to taxi to that different runway by simply selecting "Runway" and then the correct number.  Does that make sense?  You don't have to tell them to pushback again.

Great suggestions! One thing that would be useful (especially at KLAX) in airports with multiple runways would be to be able to designate one runway as a default for arrivals (such as 25L) and one default for departures (such as 25R). This could be done at the initial page when a runway is selected.

This is already a feature of the sim.  In the airport selection menu, landing runways are select-able on the map.  Takeoff runways are not specifically select-able since the ground controller assigns them anyway.  In Tower3D Pro, default landing runways (those assigned by approach control) can also be changed during a session using the buttons along the control panel.

The menu screen is for arrival runway selection only. So, yes, by deselecting 25R all arrivals will initially be sent to 25L. You can obviously send them elsewhere with an ENTER FINAL RUNWAY command.

You determine where departures are sent, you can send a plane to any of the runways. There is no active runway setting.

Glad you found what you were looking for.  Don't forget you can also use the buttons on the control panel for the same thing - the strip of rectangles with runway numbers right under the command buttons, that highlight in green when you click them.  If they are green, it means the runway is active for landings.  Try it.
