  1. Hi, when you look into you Modules folder (FS) there is the folder FSUIPC Documents and you will find there the FSUIPC4 User Guide.pdf file. Page 40 to 43 describes in detail how to define axis. BTW- From your description above you define the both axis, but to nothing? Thomas
  2. Hi, in addition, make sure you use exactly the name and email you used when you bought the registration key (the key is related to that). Thomas
  3. Hi, please check the Installing and Registering FSUIPC4.pdf file that comes with the Installer ZIP, on page 5. Also make sure you enter precise the registration info, best practice is always to copy and paste the information instead of reading and type, to avoid typing error. Thomas
  4. Hi, instead of reading the User Guide you should look into the included Installing and Registering FSUIPC4.pdf file that comes with the Installer ZIP, on page 5. Also make sure you enter precise the registration info, best practice is always to copy and paste the information instead of reading and type, to avoid typing error. Thomas
  5. Hi, did you try ASCII code table? Thomas
  6. Hi, what ever that function is 'ai separation to resolve conflicts' is not done by FSUIPC. You can read via FSUIPC Ai traffic info and control Ai Traffic range (in FS/P3D) but FSUIPC doesn't control or interfere with Ai Traffic. Thomas
  7. Hi, as I see the date of your Prepar3D.exe is from today I guess you updated already to version 3.4 with date from today !? The FSUIPC4 installer will not know that version of P3D. You will have to wait for Pete, back tomorrow or the day after. Thomas
  8. Hi, not via TCP/IP. FSUIPC uses the Windows facilities for Controller, so it takes the Windows known controller info only as axis input. Thomas
  9. Hi, in case the installer cannot find the folder by Registry info shows that the installation of P3D is not ok at all! When you select the path manually is there actually/ physically that original file Prepar3D.exe ? Thomas
  10. Hi, did you deactivate Controller in FS? Thomas
  11. Hi, neither FSUIPC nor WideFS can 'share' the mouse, keyboard or sound! I am going to be downloading and reading the documentation. That would be best to have the basic understanding of what FSUIPC and WideFS is capable to do and matches with what are going to do. Thomas
  12. Hi, with latest definition update for MS Defender (1.227.2038.0) the problem is solved and you can download again. This is the final email that you will receive regarding this submission. The Microsoft Malware Protection Center (MMPC) has investigated the following file(s) which we received on 9/9/2016 12:53:36 PM Pacific Time. Below is the determination for your submission. ======== Submission ID MMPC16090957996717 Submitted Files ============================================= MakeRwys.exe [Not Malware] Thomas
  13. Hi, actually you don't have to because that is already implemented. Check the FSUIPC4 for Advanced Users.pdf for more information, page 56 to 58. Using the setting in FSUIPC4.ini ShortAircraftNameOk=Substring then you can have i.e [Profile.C172] 1=Cessna Skyhawk 172SP 2=DeHavilland Beaver DHC2 3=C172R This will then use the profile Cessna Skyhawk 172SP for any livery in your aircraft.cfg that contains in its title Cessna Skyhawk 172SP (Paint1, Paint2, ...). This is then also true for the other both aircraft types listed in that Profile, in my example above. Thomas
  14. Hi, I did report it again to MS, should then be resolved in couple days like last time. Thank you for submitting suspicious file(s) to the Microsoft Malware Protection Center (MMPC). This email acknowledges that we have successfully received the following file(s) at Friday, September 9, 2016 12:53 PM Pacific Time: File ======================================== MakeRwys.exe Thomas
  15. Hi, when the installation with latest installer (Volker advised) worked ok, please also update to latest version http://fsuipc.simflight.com/beta/FSUIPC4956.zip . Unzip, copy and paste it into the Modules folder, overwrite the existing FSUIPC4.dll file. Thomas
  16. Hi, there is no defined version to use for different FSX/ FSX-SE of P3d. It is always the latest FSUIPC4 Installer to use first and if available then using an Interim version. The latest version you will find above in this forum under Download links and there under Updated Modules The latest Installer - http://fsuipc.simflight.com/beta/Install_FSUIPC4955c.zip The latest Interim - http://fsuipc.simflight.com/beta/FSUIPC4955g.zip Use the latest Installer FIRST If there is any problem with the installation you need to copy and paste the full content of the install log file to your message, not only a part of it. Thomas
  17. Hi, in your case FSUIPC's INI file means FSUIPC4.ini (FS9 and older would be FSUIPC.ini). When you take a look into your FS folder and subfolder Modules you will find there another subfolder FSUIPC Documents. In this folder when content is sorted by name the very first file will be ASN WX Radar facilities in FSUIPC4.pdf. Just on the first page's first third your question is answered. INSTRUCTIONS ... Parameters to appear in the FSUIPC4.INI [General] section (optional, separately) ASNwxRadarPath = <full pathname for the radar array to be written> ASNwxRadarBitmapPath = <full pathname for a corresponding radar bitmap> To just see the bitmap you only need the latter. The former is for other processing or investigation. ... You will then find the Bitmap file where you want it to be, <full pathname for a corresponding radar bitmap> Thomas
  18. Hi, You will need to copy and paste the full content of the FSUIPC4 log file after closing P3D vor Pete. Same for DLL.xml file Thomas
  19. Hi, I think so that it is a faulty poti. Also it might be the reason that the other axes haven't been seen, some joystick controller block all axes when a shortcut like in a poti occurs. Thomas
  20. Hi, first of all you have to make sure the joystick is seen by windows and calibrated in windows game controller panel. Thomas
  21. Hi, When you already run the installer you will also have unzipped the Installing and Registering FSUIPC4.pdf document. FSUIPC4 is not an independent App you run on its own but it runs inside FS/ P3d (whatever you use it for). When you run your FS you will find its button in the FS Menu bar under Add-ons. The DLL itself is installed in your FS installation folder e.g. YorDrive:\FSX\Modules Any additional Document like Manuals are installed in a subfolder of Modules e.g. YourDrive:\FSX\Modules\FSUIPC Documents Thomas
  22. Hi, FSUIPC can read Controller axis and buttons that are seen by windows as a Game controller or Joystick controller, others will not be seen even if they are HID controllers. The PFCHid... module will ONLY work with PFC hardware it was written for but not for others! What is the make of those PFD and MFD G1000 hardware controllers ? Don't they have a special driver from their manufacture? Thomas
  23. Hi, just confirmed by MS, MakeRwys.exe is no longer Malware classified with Windows Defender definition 1.225.3417.0 or later. The Microsoft Malware Protection Center (MMPC) has investigated the following file(s) which we received on 8/6/2016 12:20:54 PM Pacific Time. Below is the determination for your submission. ======== Submission ID MMPC16080699733031 Submitted Files ============================================= MakeRwys.exe [Not Malware] So you can download it again Thomas
  24. Hi, that is related to the language setting that is used on that PC. In metric system for decimal a comma is used and the thousand divider a dot. So in metric one million is written as 1.000.000,00 That means if you have members from e.g. Germany then you need to convert comma into dot. Thomas
  25. By mistake I deleted this Topic, sorry for that. But I found the content, original from 4.08.2016 by Normana Hi everyone, I'm very new to the forum, so please forgive me if I open a can of worms here and this have already been discussed to death. I've read some of the pass posts and topics of buttons, and Pete wonderful guide on (advanced Users guide) Adding offset conditions, but still struggling to try and achieve what I would like to do, maybe its all in there and I have just miss read or understood something. Basically I have several toggle switches and they are wired to a game controller, its actually a desktop aviator card with 36 connections. when I flip a toggle switch one way, the response is computer picks up is a 1/2sec button press so in other words a momentary push switch. (yes the toggle switch is a momentary push switch So following the guides and advanced users guide I've com up with the following three lines of script. [Buttons.pmdg737] 1=P0,11,C1005,3842 -joy 0 button 11, toggle flag, 256 * joystick 15 + button 2 2=CP(F+15,2)0,11,69633,0 - condition ( joystick 15,2)physical control, pmdg offset 69633, set 0 3=CP(F-15,2)0,11,69633,1 - condition ( joystick 15,2)physical control, pmdg offset 69633, set 1 maybe I'm not too far away from solution?, but I would like the button here (physical toggle switch that acts like a button) to move in the opposite direction to which it is currently in based upon a button press. maybe someone solved this problem 10 years ago and I just haven't come across it yet. Many thanks for reading. Norm
