  1. The t3dpro voice is just gibberish until the end and then the words are heard, but my t3d voice works just fine. No aircraft calls are displayed in the command line for t3dpro, although I can command aircraft with the mouse. Seems like I had this gibberish problem with t3d but don't remember the solution. Win7-64 bit. Mike
  2. Vic, is 3DPro compatible with a voice activated mic and if so, what is the availability for such a device? If you or any forum followers can enlighten me I'd appreciate it. Thanks Mike
  3. Vic, you said Win 7 Ultimate 64-bit is required to run 3DPro...will Win 7 Pro 64-bit work as well? Mike
  4. There's a reason large airports like JFK and ATL have multiple controller positions. I think a better alternative would be a smaller airport with a high mix of GA and airline traffic with multiple runway configurations like DCA or BUR. You wouldn't need binoculars and the smaller size demands a very creative approach to managing both departures and arrivals, especially on the ground. SAN would be very challenging as well, and I think even more popular than its first iteration with Tower. Mike
  5. What are the next airports after JFK? Mike
  6. What 3D airports are in test? How about some "guess the airport" screen shots?
  7. Yeah, Vic, I realized it after I posted...changed back to Microsoft Anna and it's ok now (Win7). Will the Pro version take add-on voices without this problem? Mike
  8. My Microsoft sapi speech has worked perfectly fine with Tower and T3d including the hotfix, but the SP1 update just produces voices reading lines of computer code jibberish. Male, female, random, and different time scenarios. Never seen anything like this before. Occasionally a normal sentence will be heard but its rare. Anyone else got this? Mike
  9. I usually save those links but of course didn't in this case. BMT didn't answer their phone. Will try feelthere. Mike
  10. I got T3D from atcsuite but don't have the link anymore. How do I access the link without running my credit card again? Mike
  11. Vic, can we expect this change in SP1? Mike
  12. Vic, if accommodating a small request is your aim as you say, how about replacing "Goodbye" with "Good day" or "So long" during a frequency change. "Goodbye" is heard on the phone, not in typical ATC comms, and you would make a lot of real-world pilots very happy. I tried to make the text file change myself, but it wouldn't let me. Listen to Live ATC and see for yourself. This has to be about the simplest fix you can consider, and it would go a long way to increasing the realism you strive for. Mike
  13. THIS PART IS REMOVED. IF YOU HAVE AN ISSUE TO REPORT PLEASE OPEN A NEW TOPIC AND POST YOUR LOG. WITHOUT IT IT WILL BE REMOVED. Why the environmental sounds? They're obtrusive at TIST even with the slider turned off and unrealistic unless the tower is open-air. Don't need 'em. Trees blowing in the wind is nice but that has to use cpu power better used in graphics. Lack of a manual - big problem. Finding out how to use the game through accidental discovery is not suitable and frustrating, the skimpy tutorial notwithstanding. The airplanes "hop" into the air on liftoff - unrealistic. This is a start but I hope that the pro version is better.
  14. Here's my machine: Falcon Northwest Talon Intel core i7-2600 CPU 3.4 GHz 16 GB memory 64-bit OS Nvidia GeForce GTX 950 card @ 1920 x 1080 Hz Game autoset to "fantastic" Mike
  15. Installed just fine but stops loading any airport at 30%, saying windows detected an error, and the program shuts down. Mike
  16. I hope this a/c response to taxi clearances has been eliminated in Tower3D. A more circuitous routing is sometimes needed, like at SAN...if the a/c doesn't like it, too bad. Trust that the controller has a plan and follow the clearance. You can request an alternate route all day but if it's not approved, move along. Mike
  17. Will the 3D view automatically switch to an a/c when you click on its strip? Sure looks great. Mike
  18. if that's the case, then how about the next airport supporting right-clicking an a/c inflight to see if its gate is occupied? That avoids surprises on the ground and is more realistic anyway. Mike
  19. Will KMCO be the last new airport for Tower before the new Tower? If not, about KLGA? Mike
  20. wheres the newsletter prompt for signup? Mike
  21. If you're talking about using Steam as the only way to access your products, you'll lose me as a customer. Mike
