I found it and it now works fine.

I'm having problems moving screens to a second monitor as mentioned in someone's previous post (can't find it). Tried clicking on the icons for re-sizing but all I get is the one I want to move becoming full screen on the main monitor and not able to move it. Multiple screens work fine with other sims. What's the correct procedure?

I'm gonna get a new computer with Windows 10 and wondered if the move from Windows 7 would eliminate a lot of the problems that people have with T3DPro. My current machine is 9 years old with a sound card that doesn't have support anymore, and while it's fast enough with a good video card I'm thinking that a lot of my speech/voice issues with this sim would be addressed with a new setup. I understand that Windows 10 has more computer-voice options, too. I'd like feedback from users who upgraded and the results they saw in this sim from doing so.

Mine, too, and that's why I think a T3DP for DCA would be great. Area-wise it was small enough to allow minimal scrolling but large enough to be challenging when you used the crossing runways. And with today's schedules, it could really give you a workout. SAN is a little funky, what with its displaced threshold and other issues. DCA would be a winner, hands-down and I'd buy it in a heartbeat.

The rotation and liftoff animation in BAO Tower remains in a class by itself.

So Vic, is this big new thing gonna be an ATC sim, aircraft sim, or what? Mike

Remember there's a slight time delay between actual voice transmission and when you hear it on LiveATC.net which could translate into several hundred feet depending on a/c rate of climb.

Around 400 feet agl in the real world.

Does the new voice recognition system mean new commands for Tracon and if so, what are they? How is the new voice system different from the old one? Mike

Vic, What's the status on the ARTCC sim? Now that ATL is out the door, I'm looking forward to some informational updates and a screen shot or two. Mike

Vic, How about animating a realistic banking turn on departures instead of an unrealistic wings-level one? I'd rather see that than leaves blowing if its a performance issue. Mike

Problem solved.

Tried to correct the JBU text line with a space so the speech program won't spell out the callsign, but I keep getting Access Denied when trying to save the change. Says the directory already exists and won't let me replace it or change it, even with Admin on. Now what? Mike

I got the SP2 for 3D Pro along with RT and RC, and the extensions, airplanes, and traffic folders are in 3D Pro but LAX still has the default color and traffic.What do I need to do now? Mike

I agree. Less is more. As a pilot, I flew out of DFW since it opened and looked forward to its release for Tower. But after playing it a while it wasn't as enjoyable as a smaller field for several reasons. The large real estate required constant camera movement to manage things effectively, and much of the realism factor was sacrificed by utilizing one controller. SNA or LGA would be a much better choice for a more immersive and realistic experience. DCA would be ideal. Mike

Vic, You should produce a retro version of T3dPro that takes us back to 1956. Think of the great aircraft and airlines of that era: DC-6s, DC-7s, DC-3s, Connies, and Convairs sporting the liveries of many airlines that are no longer with us...Braniff, TWA, Western, PSA, Eastern, Continental...in addition to those who still are: American, Delta, and United. winsaudi, you da man! I went through control panel and the speech area did look familiar once I saw it again. When I fired up t3dpro I could in fact communicate with aircraft with speech for the first time in this sim. And the speech silver bar icon was present as I was doing so. It thought I was trying to start speech for the first time, I think, and I got some extraneous cues to do this or that but the bottom line is that it's apparently working now. Knock on wood. Thanks again for the suggestion, and to you Vic for the attention you gave it. Now I'll see if the good fortune lasts. Mike

I'm running Win 7 Pro...I haven't accessed speech from the control panel...how do you do that? Mike

Vic, when I start Tower2011 I get the speech recognition bar pop-up saying that speech recognition is listening. Is that supposed to occur in t3dpro too? If so, it's not happening, and I don't know if that is a factor in this problem. The voices in pro are coming in fine, it's just that my speech going out isn't recognized for some reason. Mike
