How to deal with Tower 3D crash (acces violation)
blazemonger replied to AirJamaica's topic in ATC Simulators
This sounds like a hardware issue more than anything else honestly. If it's an issue with the game you should normally be able to predictably crash at the same spot. Did you build the system yourself? Could you reduce memory to see if you can play stable, then swap out memory. Have you tried a memory stress test? -
How to deal with Tower 3D crash (acces violation)

What a game developer can't do is fix your windows issues (if any). -
It's really time to go to Windows10. Besides that, this is far more likely to be an OS side issue which is why the crash logs are important. While the game may crash it's quite possible/likely the reason why it does is not actually with the game.

How to deal with Tower 3D crash (acces violation)
blazemonger replied to AirJamaica's topic in ATC Simulators
For starters, disable the paging file. This relic from the 90s should be abolished and today's OS really doe snot need it. Besides that, if you use it it should be at around 1.5 times your available memory so it's too small. With 8GB or RAM you really do not need it anyway. Then, as mentioned, this is much more likely an issue with some component of your PC (either hardware or software) than the game if only because more people should be reporting it if it were a bug in the game code. When does this issue happen en is is consistent as far as when it happens? What other applications are running. -
Which airport, what airline and what time?

Installing Tower!3D Pro completely screwed up my computer
blazemonger replied to Arishtat's topic in ATC Simulators
@Arishtat A crash report generated by the game does not imply the game is at fault. While the game may crash, the cause may well be due to a failure with another component in your computer. Also, you do not 'own' the product. You pay for a license to use it and by requesting a refund you would actually void that license. The refund is a matter between you and Steam and as far as FeelThere goes, to my understanding, you do currently not have a valid license to use the program and they have no obligation to support you. That they make the effort nonetheless should tell you something. -
Installing Tower!3D Pro completely screwed up my computer
blazemonger replied to Arishtat's topic in ATC Simulators
@Arishtat While never fun when this happens, going full tilt mode is generally not the best way to go. Also, response by @FeelThere is correct. If this was an issue with the game there would be a lot of people here or elsewhere reporting the same. It is far more likely that there is/was an issue with either a driver or hardware causing the issue seen. To say your response towards Tower!3D and/or its developer is excessive would be an understatement. -
Tower! 2011 - PHNL - Anyone have BUSIER schedules....
blazemonger replied to John Coles's topic in ATC Simulators
Provided Tower!2011 uses the same formatting for the schedules it would be fairly easy to create an actual real life schedule for say yesterday or so.. send me a private message if that would interest you. -
After I found a few typos in the file and fixed the times to be a bit more spread out, latest file uploaded to link in OP. Please let me know any comments if you use/try the schedule.

I created a schedule for Tower!3D Pro from the actual flights in and out of KPHX yesterday (Sunday 25th Feb). http://blazemonger.net/t3d/kphx_schedule.zip EDIT: Can Tower handle several departing or arriving planes scheduled at the same time? It seems there is a lot of this in the actual schedule but none in the existing game files? EDIT: Found a few mistakes in the schedule, appears to work better now. New version uploaded

Yes, they will work fine in game but Steam won't register them as an installed DLC in the Steam client.

Which version are you using? standalone or steam? What is in the If the Tower!3D Pro folder? If there is 'just' a folder 'extensions', move that to the FeelThere folder and try again.- 6 replies

I noticed this behaviour in tower!3D as well Also, on KPHX I found it quite interesting that on 26 when I try 'CALLSIGN RWY26 at B9' it will always pick B11 instead On 25R E9 and E11 work as expected.. Maybe B9 is not a valid taxiway for takeoff on 26 but it's weird.

This actually happened with several planes coming from the apron .. once ready, just went straight through the hangar and kept going until deleted https://clips.twitch.tv/DeliciousSpeedySpiderKAPOW https://clips.twitch.tv/ShyHilariousEagleHeyGuys Was good for some content but obviously not as it should be :D EDIT: did another test and found this is a random glitch but always fro the south cargo apron. It can be resolved by giving the plane different instructions on taxi route

CALLSIGN ENTER FINAL RUNWAY XX Then do not forget the clear for landing on new runway ;)

great.. having some issues with the JSON queries but I guess that will sort itself out..
