  1. Good morning everyone I have created a spreadsheet for Phoenix - (KPHX) showing arrivals and departures per hour, based on RT base info. Sheet 1 of the spreadsheet is in chronological order Sheet 2 of the spreadsheet reflects per hour arrivals and departures. If anyone can take sheet 2 and turn it into a chart that would be amazing (my spreadsheet-fu is weak) I hope this helps anyone who is wanting to play this amazing airport or wants to use it as a base for developing their own schedule. Regards, BLB (Peter) KPHX.xlsx
  2. What Craig said, but @nrholland UPLOAD the text file, don't copy and paste it here. At the bottom left of your reply, you will see a paper clip with the text: Drag files here to attach, or choose files... Max total size 4.88MB Select "choose files..." and a window will pop up, go to your ...Program Files (X86)/FeelThere/Tower!3d Pro/tower3d_Data folder. You will see the file output_log.txt That's the file you want to upload. Regards, BLB (Peter)
  3. LOL! I've created three batch files, one each for TIST, KLAX and KPHL - and have changed the option commands to be specific to each airport. You have no idea how your scripting has increased my enjoyability of the game. I was about ready to give up, but I'm now able to cope much more thanks to you. BLB (Peter)
  4. Yeah I did know that, but I decided to go with TIST because it's more relaxed. Thank you again!
  5. @EliGrim thanks to you and your excellent batch file, I just spent a very enjoyable 2 hours at TIST. Your code is wonderful, thanks! BLB (Peter)
  6. I'm just overwhelmed by the huge amount of traffic at peak hours I guess. Man up Peter, this ain't Kansas! 😄
  7. Thank you for all the effort you and the other schedule creators do for free, in your spare time, for all of us. I for one truly appreciate it. BLB (Peter)
  8. I honestly did think you had schedules for both.
  9. I'm gonna use your LAX schedule - it's been a long day. Give me a few hours to set it up.
  10. Let me see if I can do a diff using pivot tables - give me a few hours 😊 EDIT: I just realized you don't have a schedule for KPHL - SMH
  11. heh - patience is about the only virtue I have. It does tend to make taxi instructions a bit more challenging.
  12. Correct departure runways. Hope this interests someone. Personally I really enjoy the time from midnight to 06:30 BLB - Peter KLAX.pdf
  13. ok dropbox insists on displaying the incorrect info - please ignore this post
  14. Hi everyone I finished my spreadsheet on what I think should be the correct runways for departures at KLAX, based on a westerly departure, ie 24L and 25R Here's the dropbox link: KLAX DEP Runways V0.1 The spreadsheet has been sorted by departure time from KLAX. Regards, BLB - Peter
  15. Thanks everyone who responded. I'm so impressed by the depth of knowledge in this forum, and the willingness of those individuals to respond with factually correct info. Thanks guys! BLB
  16. Hi Braf123456 Here is the full list (those marked in red did not appear):
  17. Hi everyone This has probably been discussed before but I can't find the thread. I just completed a session from 01:00 to 02:00 AM at LAX. Game put me in at 00:46 AM (not sure why?) 29 scheduled departures: 2 no-shows: LAX TPE 77W BR 15 00:49 LAX MIA 748 CV 432 00:57 Percentage of no-shows: 6.9% (rounded up) 4 scheduled arrivals: 2 non-shows: TPA LAX 319 AA 871 01:28:00 AM HNL LAX 742 K4 369 01:48:00 AM Percentage of non-shows: 50% I'm guessing this is an undocumented feature. BLB - (Peter)
  18. Fantastic idea! I especially like the inclusion of Macau Int'l.
  19. @crbascott you are 100% correct. as usual. I have decided to forgo the SID's and instead simply focus on what runways should be used for departures, based on the default RT schedule for LAX. Thank you for your input. This will increase the workload however that may be a good thing.
  20. Thanks for that info! I found a post by @ Braf123456 in November 2018 and I'm kinda expanding on that. I had to simplify some departures because there were departures during the day (excluding 00:00 - 06:30) that used different SID's and I couldn't work out the pattern. I thus chose the most common SID for that destination airport. Also, I have based this all on the RT default schedule for LAX. I have also assumed we hand off to departure at or below 3000 ft. All departures are deemed to be departing WEST. I'm about 15% done with the spreadsheet so far and will post version 0.1 for criticism soon. Here is an excerpt - temporarily sorted by destination airport to make it easier (final submission of v0.1 will be sorted by time): Peter (BLB)
  21. Awesome work Ron C! I'm working on simplified departure routes from LAX, and also including noise abatement between 00:00 to 06:30 I had to simplify it because there are a few departures to the same destination that seem to use different SID's based on the time they depart. I have been using https://flightaware.com/analysis/route.rvt?origin=KLAX&destination=KASE as my basis for deciding which SID to use. V0.1 to be posted soonish - am about 15% through it so far Regards, Peter (BLB)
  22. Hey everyone So I'm a bit of a nerd. I thought I would collate and present info that accurately represents which departure routes (SID's) aircraft should take, starting with KLAX. I'll roll this out to KPHL and TIST and the rest (once I get the Significant Other to agree that they are indeed critical to my existence on this planet) I'd like some advice though, before I start: From the KLAX RT schedule klax_schedule.txt file the 1st line is this: OGG, LAX, 752, DL, 2222, 07:04, 12:00, 1, DL I assume the following (please correct my assumptions!): Field 1: Departure airport Field 2: Arrival Airport Field 3: Aircraft type Field 4: Airline Field 5: Aircraft Reg number Field 6: Dep. time from originating airport Field 7: Arrival time at destination airport Field 8: ??? Field 9: repeat of Field 4 Thanks! BLB
