  1. No need to apologise to me Herb, its my fault for being a grumpy so and so this morning and not thinking straight, lol.
  2. I was still in bed on my iPad so hadn't had any coffee either, sorry for being a grump.
  3. It was his ini file, how you knew what it was without downloading it it beyond me. I was the first person to download the file, that's how I know you didn't read it because the forum said zero downloads before I grabbed it. Anyway I digress, make sure you download the latest interim update from the downloads sub forum, this facility wasn't added until relatively recently.
  4. There is in FSUIPC but it only syncs the seconds, it doesn't touch minutes or hours as far as I can remember. Edit: actually yes it can sync minutes but it still will not change the hours. Look at the Miscellaneous tab in FSUIPC.
  5. Do you have EFB by Aivlasoft? If so there is an option in the Data Provider to sync to UTC based on your PC time, look in settings> Miscellaneous tab.
  6. Cheers Pete, I've also made a post in the User Contributions forum section too as you suggested, I also missed out an entry too, three lines are needed for the NGX not two, it should actually look like the below. AlsoManage1=PMDG\PMDG 737 NGX\PanelState\*.FLT.fmc AlsoManage2=PMDG\PMDG 737 NGX\PanelState\*.FLT.sav AlsoManage3=PMDG\PMDG 737 NGX\PanelState\*.FLT.0.rte
  7. With the release of the PMDG NGX I find myself in the position of needing to add more entries to the AlsoManage settings of the Autosave feature of FSUIPC4, if you don't include this snippet shown below and you use FSUIPC Autosave with the NGX you will over time end up with thousands of orphaned files in the folder FSX...\PMDG\PMDG 737 NGX\PanelState and they will all show up in the NGX load panel state page in the NGX FMC, if the number of files is allowed to increase indefinitely it is sure to crash FSX eventually. Simply add the below text to the [AutoSave] section of the FSUIPC4.ini AlsoManage1=PMDG\PMDG 737 NGX\PanelState\*.FLT.fmc AlsoManage2=PMDG\PMDG 737 NGX\PanelState\*.FLT.sav AlsoManage3=PMDG\PMDG 737 NGX\PanelState\*.FLT.0.rte
  8. Yeah no problem Pete I'll get onto it after lunch. Will you be able to increase the number of also manage entries to more than 9 or is it a big job? You never made any mention of that in your reply to me, thanks.
  9. Hi Pete, With the release of the PMDG NGX I find myself in the position of needing to add more entries to the AlsoManage settings of the Autosave portion of the FSUIPC4.ini, the problem is according to the documentation there is a limit of 9 entries in this list. I am already using 7 of these slots because of the PMDG MD11 alone, is there any possibility you can increase this number of slots please Pete? For anyone else reading this who isn't sure what to place in the Autosave section of the FSUIPC4.ini this below is what is required to keep the Autosave file quantities down to the number of saves specified in the autosave section of FSUIPC. AlsoManage1=PMDG\PMDG 737 NGX\PanelState\*.FLT.fmc AlsoManage2=PMDG\PMDG 737 NGX\PanelState\*.FLT.sav If you don't include this snippet above and you use Autosave with the NGX you will end up with thousands of orphaned files in the folder PMDG\PMDG 737 NGX\PanelState and they will all show up in the NGX load panel state page in the NGX FMC which is sure to crash it eventually.
  10. From the information I have gleaned from other forums the iFly has different dll's for each aircraft variant so you have to create a mouse macro for each different dll, shortaircraft... isn't going to help here.
  11. Yes you can log into your SimMarket account and retrieve the key from your previous purchases page.
  12. Open up the log file with notepad then copy and paste the content to a post here in the forum.
  13. Mouse Macros don't work on most default aircraft, you don't need them anyway as pretty much everything in default aircraft has a function you can assign in FS Controls including the Flight Director switch.
  14. Pete do you think this could be a permissions thing in Windows 7 or Vista due to not having access to the real files but rather the aliased/virtual files.
  15. Wrong forum section as well Ian, please delete my post if you wish.
  16. As far as I am aware LINDA doesn't touch the FSUIPC.ini other than to add a Com entry and a VRinsight section if it doesn't already exist for the MCP Combo so that it can control it. I think Roland's problems were all due to a messy FSUIPC.ini when swapping from aircraft specific settings to profiles.
  17. You don't need the centre SET button when you do not have a reverse zone, that SET button is used to set the idle point.
  18. This works great for me Pete, thank you very much for adding this facility.
  19. I've been using previous flight pretty much every time I load the sim up since 2007 and never had any problems loading. I like to start my session up from where I last left it. When I want a change in aircraft I just choose a more appropriate parking spot at the same airport for the different aircraft.
You do not need to pay again to use any version 4.* update, all updates within a major version number are free, you can also easily update by installing over the top of your previous version and no settings will be lost. I also recommend using Google translate to help you post your message in English, thats what Pete will have to do anyway to understand your message, I'm pretty sure he isn't fluent in German and neither am I, I used Google too.
  21. I think the way John and I want to use this functionality it doesn't really matter if the name of the saved flight is super easy to distinguish or not, we want FSUIPC to select the appropriate aircraft specific previous flight automatically for us the next time we load FSX and a particular plane. If there is no previous flight associated with an aircraft then just load the previous last location as things exist now. Maybe also an option to make the paint scheme irrelevant and just save the flight based on the model only.
  22. That's actually a pretty cool Idea John, I hope it's something that Pete can do.
  23. The option is called REV and its either in the Axis assigning tab or on the calibration tab, I can't remember which for sure off the top of my head.
  24. As Pete says the radio section of the MCP combo should just work it's one of the few things that we never hear problems about, if it doesn't work then Just Flight are doing something very unusual and you would be best asking them for advice. It certainly isn't something I could help you fix as I have no idea why it doesn't work, the only time I've heard of problems before is with the third radio set in the LevelD 767 and there was nothing that could be done about that as the MCP only supports two radio sets per type i.e. Com, Nav, ADF etc.
  25. Pete this device from VRinsight is seen as a normal joystick with buttons (no axes on the TT Panel though) so they don't provide any software for it as its not needed, the same is true for the new MS Panel too but that one does use Axes as well. The VRinsight forum is down at the moment, they decided to do some work on the website and not inform me :(
