  1. Thanks for the explanation and sorry to bring you extra work.
  2. I'm sorry I have not got a clue what you just said. Please don't confuse matters, help isn't required from anyone else at this point, Pete and I should be able to sort this out between us. Its probably my fault for not beta testing things properly for Peter back when he first added support for VRinsight hardware.
  3. I've since found out that the fourth key along from the bottom right (SP) and the S (S) key are also duplicated with joy 263 button 26.
  4. Maybe I did miss it in beta testing Pete, I have 4.602 here backed up and the same bug was present there. I can't believe nobody has mentioned it to me and VRi or you here until now.
  5. Hi Pete, I've just had a VRi customer contact me with a problem he has just found with the CDU2 and with version FSUIPC 4.642 and I can reproduce it with 4.641 as well. Basically there are 4 buttons on the CDU2 that show up as two pairs i.e. the button in the bottom right corner of the CDU (CLR) and the C (C ) key both have the same identifier of joy 263, button 10. Also the 3rd button across from the bottom right corner of the CDU (DEL) and the D (D) key have the same ID of joy 263, button 11. (n) = VRI SerialFP2 test mode key ID's This is very strange this is the first time anyone has mentioned it and I don't remember it being a problem when we beta tested it. Do you think this is a problem at VRi's end or yours? I wouldn't have picked this problem up any earlier because I hardly ever use my CDU2, I don't often have time for flights that require an FMC be programmed.
  6. Read the included manual or this forum :P
  7. Yes that is exactly it, you would be better asking any further questions over at the simforums in the realityXP support forum run by Flight1.
  8. The RXP GNS530 has a facility to assign key presses to all functions, it has to be done by manually editing the ini file in notepad though. The file you are looking for is called RXPGNS.ini and is located in C:\ProgramData\reality xp\common\settings\ or at least it is on Windows 7.
  9. Peter is talking about the unregistered version of FSUIPC and Saiteks unlicensed use of it. Registered owners of FSUIPC would not be effected.
  10. You need to buy a new key for FSUIPC4 it's a completely rewritten program for FSX only. FSUIPC3 was for FS2004 and earlier editions of FS.
  11. Try switching to the 2d panel also, I seem to remember that the aircraft would not initialise properly if you loaded straight into the 3d VC, I think that was fixed in a later release though, although I may have dreamt that lol.
  12. You simply drag and drop the downloaded FSUIPC4.dll file to your FSX\Modules folder. That's all there is to do, do not run the installer again.
  13. Make sure the clock on your laptop is set to the correct date and time, if the date on the PC is set to a time before the key was actually purchased it will make it fail.
  14. That's because the version you have is very old, please update to the latest version, VRinsight hardware was not supported back in 4.57. http://forum.simflight.com/topic/66139-updated-modules-19th-october-2010/
  15. Because Peter does not own the website where the download is stored, in fact he doesn't have a website of his own, he has no access to the server so he has to pester Mr Schiratti to do it for him. Peter can at times come out with almost daily updates to FSUIPC so those interim updates are posted here on the forum a place where he does have upload access.
  16. Try initialling the interim update in the download section of the FSUIPC sub forum. http://forum.simflight.com/topic/66139-updated-modules-19th-october-2010/
  17. Hi John, You seem to have missed the part of Petes last post where he said check out the other sub-forums related to FSUIPC, they can be found near the top of the page when you are viewing the FSUIPC main forum page , there is a section called "download links" inside there you wIll find a post dedicated to the latest interim updates for FSUIPC. Please find a link below that will take you directly to the post in question. FSUIPC Updates
  18. Just answer yes to the question and then close the sim down and start it again, it's a fairly common bug in the FSX trusted modules system that crops up every now and again, its nothing to worry about as the next time you load the sim it should work fine in 99% of cases.
  19. Try uninstalling the logitech software, it sounds like it may be sending keystrokes with axis movement.
  20. FS Flight Keeper is a must have in my opinion if you take Flight Simulation even remotely seriously, it does a whole lot more than just logging your flights for you, the moving 2d map/ACARS that you can install in all your aircraft is worth the price alone in my book.
  21. They do not send the key via email, please log into your Sim-Market account and click on the "My Orders" button, then click on the FSUIPC order and the key will be displayed. Keys should never be sent via email as its not a secure form of communication, anyone with time and the right tools can intercept your email while its in transit.
  22. See the thread below for F1 Mustang LUA information.
  23. Do you have this problem with all aircraft or just particular ones? The reason I ask is that I've noticed that some aircraft like the Airbus X from Aerosoft and the Beechcraft be60 from Realair cause the default F9-F12 keys to stop working correctly, it even breaks the functionality in any other aircraft that you use in the same FS session. The only way I can get the keys working correctly again is to load a different aircraft other than these two and then close FSX and restart it. I think it's a bug in the way the cameras work in FSX.
  24. You will be able to recover your registration info from the place you purchased the FSUIPC registration key, this will most probably be from Sim-market.
  25. You cannot do compound button programming within the FSUIPC GUI, if you could it would be an amazing feature update for FSUIPC, but as Peter has said before he's not sure how he would implement it within the GUI, he hates the things to be honest.
