  1. I don't know whether It's Your Plane might help? http://www.itsyourplane.com/ Ian P.
  2. Look at the controls in the cockpit, David - there is, for whatever reason, only one single prop pitch lever on the B377. Therefore it makes a lot more sense to me to assign a single prop lever and four individual throttles. I have nine levers (three that came with the Saitek yoke, plus two TQs) and assign pitch on the first lever, then four throttles, nothing on the sixth lever at present, then spoiler (not used on the B377), flaps and gear on the final quad. For a while, the sixth lever was mixture, but there's no point because you only usually use the two auto settings and because you're not constantly leaning or enriching, there's no real point in having levers assigned for mixture on the Stratocruiser, in my opinion. That's how I do it. Others' milage and opinions may vary! All the controls are assigned through FSUIPC. Cheers, ian P.
  3. Log in to your account at simMarket and look under "your products" or "your orders". The number will be listed there, along with the other registration details. Ian P.
  4. The only other thing I can suggest is to check that you are definitely running the correct installer and using the correct registration details - you'd be surprised how many people try installing FSUIPC3 when they want FSUIPC4, or are using the details from one to try and register the other, or vice versa on either option! Beyond that you need Pete, I'm afraid, who I'm sure will be along soon. Cheers, Ian P.
  5. Did you use ALL of the details exactly as they were at time of purchase? If you have changed e-mail addresses, use the on you originally registered with. If in doubt, copy and paste them all from your order details at simMarket. The direct answer is that no, keys are not time limited, but you must use all the registration details exactly as per the original order. Cheers, Ian P.
  6. Depending on how the product is set up, some keys are e-mailed out. They are always available through your simMarket accounts page, though, whether included in an e-mail or not. Ian P.
  7. I have the settings turned on in both ActiveSky2012 and FSUIPC4 - useful in case I am not using AS2012 for any reason. I've noticed no issues in doing so. Cheers, Ian P.
  8. Serious question - why can you not just use the axis assignment from the A2A configuration tool for the P-51D to assign the flaps axis? It will only be recognised by the P-51D and the default flaps axis isn't, so therefore you should be able to keep both assigned to the same axis without causing any clashes. I haven't been able test this, unfortunately, as I didn't have time last night, but will be able to do so later if necessary. Ian P.
  9. They certainly use the standard button presses for Flaps Inc and Dec - I haven't tried an axis, but can do so later this evening as a test. There are a lot more than four settings available, but Accu-Sim products also come with their own control allocations application, which overrules/bypasses the FSX default commands, so that is also an option? Edit: I've done some testing and no, neither the FSUIPC nor default "Flaps" axis control will work with the A2A Accu-Sim P-51D. However the axis can be assigned through the P-51D's configuration utility and works perfectly. Buttons assigned to Flaps Inc and Flaps Dec either through FSUIPC or the default dialogue work perfectly. Ian P.
  10. Have you fully patched (i.e. SP1 and SP2 or Acceleration) your version of FSX? Each patch has its own version of Simconnect, so installing them may well resolve the issue. Ian P.
  11. I thought that might be the case, but wasn't in front of my FS PC and couldn't remember whether there was a base ini file in the installer or not. Cheers, ian P.
  12. Have you installed FSUIPC and ensured that the dll file is in FSX\modules? When you run FSX, is FSUIPC in the "addons" drop down menu? The ini file should be in Flight Simulator X\modules, the same place as the dll file. Cheers, Ian P.
  13. The details you use to register FSUIPC do not change and are not tied to a specific OS or PC. Please use exactly the same details that you used to register when you paid for your license, even if your e-mail address has changed since. Copying and pasting them from your simMarket purchase details will ensure you are making no errors. Please try that and post how you get on. Ian P.
  14. Hi Frank, The latest versions of Pete's modules can always be found under the "Updated Modules" thread, under "Download Links" at the top of this forum. Here's a direct link: http://forum.simflight.com/topic/66139-updated-modules/ Cheers, Ian P.
  15. Hi Schaefer, Check out the "Download Links" subforum at the top of this area and specifically the "Updated modules" thread within it; a direct link to it is here: http://forum.simflig...pdated-modules/ Cheers, Ian P.
  16. Moved from 'Download Links' to Support forum. Ian P.
  17. Sorry to butt in, but the "VFR" button works in FSX default Transponders as well, setting the code to 1200. It certainly did when I pressed it on the default C172's panel earlier anyway! Cheers, Ian P.
  18. I think he might mean FSX? "when using fsuipc to send direct to fsx do your still have setup that device in fsx" makes more sense.
  19. I'd suggest a visit to FS Developer (http://www.fsdeveloper.com/forum/index.php) rather than Avsim, personally. Cheers, Ian P.
  20. http://secure.simmarket.com/pete-dowson-fsuipc4.phtml Direct link to FSUIPC4 sales page at simMarket. Ian P.
  21. Can you check that you have set them to increase and decrease "incrementally" and not to "full", please? There are options for both. Also moved from FAQ to support forum. Ian P.
  22. There have been a number of updates to the Stand-Alone Addon Manager, Pete, including one within the last couple of days. Maybe that's the update referred to? Ian P.
  23. Saitek have just - within the last couple of weeks - released new drivers for the CyborgX USB stick that I use, which solved problems I was having, so it might be worth checking for a new version. Ian P.
  24. Hello Mark, I'm not Pete, but can answer at least part of your question. The reason you cannot find that in an FSX control list is that it isn't an FSX control - the function does not exist in and is not recognised by FSX - it's unique to, also known as "local to", the Carenado Caravans. If you take a look at the FSUIPC documentation for "Local Variables" or "LVars" then you should be able to find out how to find out what the LVar is and the methods you can use to control it through FSUIPC. Hope that helps at least a little bit. Cheers, Ian P.
