  1. 1. Do you have SP2 installed? This is required. 2. Do you have Real Traffic installed? Another user mentioned something about not being able to install it if Real Traffic is already installed. I don't have it yet, but just wondering that might be the issue? 3. Have your tried uninstalling, re-downloading KJFK, and reinstalling? Could be a simple as something going wrong during the download or installation.
  2. Can you confirm whether the the old terminals 3 and 6 were removed, or if they are still present, as they were in the early screenshots from several months ago? Just curious if they are using the present-day layout, or the old one that was used in KJFK for tower2011?
  3. That question has been asked before. FeelThere has said they will only be able to answer it once they get closer to release, thus they know it is important to buyers, but no guarantees as of yet.
  4. Should I cancel my plans for the weekend, or look to next week?
  5. Looking forward to this.
  6. Strongly agreed. I do the same myself. Likewise, with each new airport, I do some googling about its runway and taxiway utilization patterns to get an idea of how things there are handled. For some airports, this is much harder to come by than for others (discussion forums can be helpful if this is the case). Even just watching airport documentaries and Youtube videos by spotters can often reveal useful info.
  7. I never used the Real Traffic provided schedule, but instead chose to go straight back to using Dick Parker's schedule generator. However, did you take a look at the klax_terminal.txt. file? Be sure that all of the airlines included in the schedule are assigned terminals. I had to do this manually to get Dick's schedules to work properly. I do not know/recall what Nyerges put in their terminal file, but it is worth checking out. Hope this helps.
  8. Is it just me, or does Real Traffic alone make it feel like KLAX has been taken over by the CIA and DOJ with all those white planes. I'm really really really looking forward to Real Color! Really :-)
  9. Here are a couple of references that may help: http://nats.aero/blog/2015/05/the-anatomy-of-a-flight-strip/ http://airtrafficcontrol12.blogspot.com/ Also you will need to know airline codes: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_airline_codes and Airport codes: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/International_Air_Transport_Association_airport_code
  10. You can also increase the number of 747s, or any other desired type, by using Dick Parker's schedule creator, or by creating your own schedule. Just remember to back up your original schedule file, and to rename the new schedule file as KLAX_schedule.txt.
  11. Again, you did not install it correctly, or something else is not right. You should see (visually) each one of those aircraft types. You should even be able to see variants like 757-200 and 757-300 as distinct 3D models. I can see them and I am a customer like you, not a FeelThere employee. 1. Did you install SP2, released on Monday? Real Traffic will not work without that. Download and install a fresh copy from your original email link. 2. Run the installer again and be sure to point the installer to the main directory of Tower3D, wherever you installed it.
  12. Yes, annoyingly, it does overwrite these files, but in reality it is easy to rewrite your own schedules right back on top of the new Nyerges ones (which I have little use for). This will not prevent the new plane models from showing up. I have them working beautifully with Dick's schedule creator outputs, though you will need to redo your terminal file if you did not back it up before hand. They should have warned us, but in the end it is easily fixed.
  13. The main value of Real Traffic is that it includes a much larger collection of real aircraft models (the default game only included about half a dozen), including multiple variants of each type. We now have A340s 747s, A380s, MD-11s and many more. These models will be necessary to make use of the upcoming Real Color livery add-ons.
  14. Well, so far this week, you have been releasing something new for Tower3D each day. Does that means that KJFK is due out on Wednesday? I could easily get used to this. Seriously, though, keep up the great work!
  15. I have a suggestion for the online manual. Include a section that lists all of the possible penalties, and the parameters for invoking them. This is one of the vaguest aspects of the game.
  16. I assume that you meant you have purchased the Real Traffic add-on. Real Color has not been released yet. The installer should be pointed to you main Tower3D folder and it will create all necessary folders inside.
  17. Any release/pricing info yet for JFK? I gather from previous post that this is expected soon?
  18. Please see the main topic for Real Traffic. Liveries will be released as a separate product.
  19. How will Real Traffic 3D interact with custom schedules that we put in the extensions file? Will it be the same as with Toiwer 2011, or will using custom schedules create problems? Also, does this product give us just a single day of real schedules for each airport, or several?
  20. I hate that too. I'm just hoping against hope that Tower3D Pro will make this possible. Feel There has yet to confirm this which gives me doubt.
  21. I see significant improvement here after some brief testing at LAX. If its not my imagination, it seems even beyond what was listed above. Notably, the problems with exiting taxiways (requiring repeated commands) seem to be solved. Yeah! I love the new night lighting. City of Los Angeles is much brighter and prettier now. Runway/taxiway lighting is also improved. Still wish we could have visible landing lights in the air, but I presume that this is a performance issue. Absolutely love the new auto swiveling camera; so much nicer than the disorienting view switch that we had before. Overall, great job. Thank yo for your effort. Can't wait for Real Traffic, Real Color, and KJFK! Please hurry to get them our. I am eager to give you guys some more money if you would like to have it :-)
  22. Downloading now. Thank you.
  23. Hi, FeelThere has confirmed that all add-ons will be compatible with both versions (3D and Pro) of the sim. KJFK is expected to be the first one.
  24. So when can we see the list of fixes/changes/additions that will be in the SP?
  25. One thing I keep coming back to with Tower 3D, is wishing that either instead of, or in addition to the current points system, that the game should provide the user with some sort of session efficiency rating, centered around the average time from gate to takeoff, and from runway exit to arrival at gate. This would be extremely valuable to the player as a way of judging performance
