Thank you for keeping us in the loop. It is sincerely appreciated.
-
Agreed. Perhaps call it "Controlling Strategies"
-
. Good luck this weekend, Vic, as you put the final pieces in place. We look (hopefully) forward to good news next week.
-
I see you caught that. He said February, but not of which year. My great great great great great grand grandkids are looking forward to Tower3DPro 2117
-
Very exciting. Thank you for sharing. I am happy to hold my tongue regarding upgrade prices as long as it is not going to be forgotten. Not to push my luck, but any word on KATL? Would love to see some screenshots. Hint, hint :-)
-
Excellent! How many positions is it possible to have in one multiplayer session? That is to say, at a busy facility like KLAX could there be one ground controller for the south side and one for the north side? Likewise, can different players be responsible for managing individual runways, or is that beyond the scope of the game?
-
Will multiplayer work if some players are controlling by voice and some by mouse, or do they all have to be controlling in the same way?
-
The online manual would be great. As for non-available release dates, yes it looks like there are quite a few, but just by coincidence, today appears to be completely open, so by all means feel free to turn it loose right now :-)))
-
Okay, so when will you start "shouting from the mountain tops"? That was more of a whisper down in the valley ;-)
-
Very good to hear. Thank you for working so hard to make multi-monitor happen. I mean no pressure, and I am not asking for a concrete answer yet, but have you begun more seriously thinking about some means of compensating early adopters of Tower!3D who wish to upgrade to Pro? This is still rather important to many of us.

Thank you Vic. It is rare and very much appreciated when developers offer this level of status information. It is greatly appreciated, and makes it much easier for all to adjust anticipation levels realistically, allowing us to be exited without being disappointed. For now, I will channel my energy toward the soon to be released PMDG 744, but fear not I will be checking here regularly for updates. Thanks again. Andrew

Been a while since the last status update. Any sense yet of which will be first T3D Pro of KATL? Are we on final approach, or are we still up as cruise? Please let us know when its time to fold up our tray/tables :-)
-
You mention "on track." I thought this was an aviation sim, not a railroad sim. I truly hope that the planes in T3DPro do not run on tracks :-) Perhaps you could use ATC terminology to give us a hint or two about how close we are? For example are we still up at cruise, are we talking with approach control yet, or, dare I hope, are we on final approach and just crossing the outer marker? Either way, its really great to hear from you guys. Way to quiet around here. Andrew

Pretty background pic. Greatly anticipating this release, along with KATL.

Let's not forget about Tower!2024 with optional ThoughtControl tm. for individuals with Bluetooth brain implants :-)

Nice write-up. There are a lot of good videos of KATL operations on Youtube. If you can handle his unusual brand of humor, Matt Cochran's channel in particular has a huge amount of footage shot from almost every corner of the airport, that illustrates ops at every time of day, and in all types of weather: https://www.youtube.com/channel/UC2c_a5gik0KXtzvSvqkzJag

Always good to here that things are moving forward, and the mention of Atlanta warms my heart. Can't wait :-)
-
No, in Tower 3D they are hard coded to follow the time of day. However, Vic has stated that in the Pro version. users will be able to turn them on and off at will with a mouse click.
-
You are most welcome, and thank you as well. We all look forward to T3D Pro with great anticipation, and at least one of us (me) is still also looking forward to KATL; I'm like a dog with a bone; I just can't let go :-) So please have a wonderful Christmas with you family this weekend, but then also please get right back to work on all these goodies which did not quite make it onto Santa's sleigh :-) Best wishes to all, Andrew

Thank you VIc, for letting us know. Now I know that I do not have to spend my own holiday clicking the refresh button on the forum :-) Take your time and get it right. In the meantime, be sure to get yourself some rest and fun over the holidays. It amazes me how quickly problems sometimes get solved after giving your mind a rest, and catching up on sleep. Merry Christmas and Happy New Years! Andrew

I know you guys are hard at work, and will likely be taking some time off soon for the holidays. It has been a while since we heard much about Pro, and was hoping you might post an update on where things stand. Thank you. Andrew

Did anyone ever find/hear of a solution for the 738s and A320s that refuse to taxi to the terminal. It has been a while since it was reported, but with no response. Not clear whether this is a Nyerges problem or a feelThere problem, but it makes this airport almost unplayable,

Just to get the obvious out of the way, 1. Do you also have Real Traffic 3D installed? 2. Make sure that the installer was pointed to the Tower3D/extensions folder. If your game is not installed in the default location then you must redirect the installer. 3. Just on the off chance, verify that you did purchase Real Color for Tower3D and not for Tower 2011.

If it happens the way it did for Tower3D, then there will be announcements and previews on the forum in advance. As I recall, there was also a formal announcement and preview page up on atcsuite.com about a month or so before release, with additional details, plus the usual Q&A here on the forum. I believe the actual release date was announced a week or two in advance.
