  1. To this, add one more: #airplane1; RUNWAY ;#runway1; VIA ;#taxiway2;#taxiway3;#taxiway4;#taxiway5;#taxiway6 It gets rid of the cumbersome "Delta 2143, Runway 26L. Taxi via Echo." Now you can just say "Delta 2143, Runway 26L via Echo." To me, at least, this is much more intuitive. I have tested it and it works perfectly. Andrew
  2. Thanks for the update, I do hope we can sort out the issue with the heavies in time as well. Andrew
  3. Yes. FeelThere does not generally issue SPs as separate downloads. Each time one is released, one must redownload the game from the original link provided at the time of purchase and either install it on top of the already installed version (usually works fine), or do a full uninstall reinstall (as recommended by Feel There. Andrew
  4. Great to hear you found a work around. Honestly, in most modern towers, at least that large ones like KATL and KJFK, I doubt that there is much if any environmental noise to be heard. I think they are usually pretty heavily sound proofed, and on top of that, the controllers are wearing headphones, which would isolate the sound even more. Andrew
  5. Yeah the expect command just insures that the lane gets pointed in the right general direction, but you still have to confirm the runway when you issue the taxi clearance, and keep in mind that you can still change the runway at that point as well. Andrew
  6. -Delta eight zero pushback approved. Expect Runway 26L. -Delta eight zero runway 26L. Taxi via Echo. Andrew
  7. Just thought i would update my experiences. Periodically, I do still experience a delay the the voice recognition kicking in. More rarely, I find that that VR will stop workling entirely, even after shutting down the game and restarting it. On these RARE occasions (maybe 4 times over several dozen sessions), I have found that opening Speech Recognition in Windows Control Panel (with T3D still running) and switching to another profile and then back to my own gets it working instantly every time. Andrew
  8. Not sure about the main problem you describe. Never experienced that, but the next time the sticky key message pops up, read it. It contains instructions for how to disable it. Andrew
  9. Then you will need to contact Wilco and ask them to update their files. I have heard of this kind of thing happening with Wilco a few times in the past. Hopefully Vic will see this and also send them a note. A word of advice for the future (I am a fellow customer - and do not represent FeelThere). If you purchase directly from FeelThere/ATCSuite, you will always have access to the most current versions. Andrew
  10. Just go back to the original email you received after purchase with the download link. It should still work, but the file will have been replaced with a newer one. Andrew
  11. Vic from FeelThere (above) asked about the name of your installers. He meant the actual name (word-for-wrod of the Tower3D and KSAN files you downloaded from FeelThere or ATC Suite. i.e KSAN_for_Tower3D_SP2. He wants to make absolutely sure that you downloaded the correct files. Andrew
  12. Be sure that yo installed all of the RCs to the folder Tower3D/Extensions/Airplanes. A while back, someone had installed it to the wrong place ans was having this problem. Andrew
  13. Do you have RC installed for any airports?
  14. Interesting. Thanks for taking a look. I appreciate you insight. Smaller jets do go to F without issues. Using the default RT schedule and default terminal file, it is mostly full of MD-80s, 737s,and the like, maybe the occasional 757. If I take everything out of F except KAL,KLM,AFR and other carriers that only fly large aircraft into KATL, then the terminal is empty, and stays that way. The same flights show up fine if I assign them to E. Moreover, if modify the schedule and change, for example KAL36 (an 773 that leaves in the 12:00 hour), to a CRJ, then it will show up at Terminal F without any problems (without a livery of course). I would happily generate a log, but am having trouble getting the .bat file to work since reinstalling Windows a month or so ago. Have tried get all the permissions set, but must be missing something, as it just flashes a black window for a second and disappears when I run it. If you have any idea what I need to check, please do let me know. I had it working before the reinstall, but do not recall what I did. Andrew
  15. Thanks Vic for letting us know. I figured that is what it was, but just wanted to ask. For many years, there was a shopping area in the city called Underground Atlanta. I will just pretend that this is a post-apocolyptic version of Atlanta where all of the city has gone underground, but that there is still a suspiciously large amount of traffic going in and out of the airport :-)) I assume you will comment on the other items as soon as you have something to say. Especially concerned about getting heavies into Terminal F. Andrew
  16. Any other add-ons (RT,RC)? Andrew
  17. I don't know. It really comes down to the gate sizes, as far as I can see. I don't know where gate sizes are defined in the game (clearly not in the terminal file), but I am fairly sure that the game does differentiate between different gate sizes somehow. There are definitely some gates at KLAX that will not handle heavies. I am hoping that Vic will see this soon and chime in to clarify, and hopefully solve it. Andrew
  18. Hi Ty, Well, you cannot specifically assign international flights to a terminal. I was oversimplifying. You can only do it by airline. So with DAL, for example, you are still going to get some mixed domestic/international destinations at all the terminals where they are assigned. However, you can assign foreign airlines to the international terminal, which helps a lot with the sense of realism, and you can certainly park all AA flights at Terminal A. You can do this by editing the Terminal file (using notepad) in each airport's folder (see below). Once you open the file, it is self-explanitory how to do it. FeelThere/Tower3DPro/Extensions/Airfields/KATL/katl_terminal. Best Regards Andrew
  19. Although I listed this in my other thread of suggested fixes, this one is the only one that seriously impacts the gameplay, so I thought it would be a good idea to make a separate thread for it.. It appears that all of the gates at Terminal F are coded as small or medium size, when they should all be large size. This prevents realistic operation of the airport. Terminal F is the primary terminal for international flights at KATL, and most of the planes using it are larger ones (777s, A330s, A340s, 747s). However, none of those aircraft will park at Terminal F. Even if I go into the terminal file and assign all international flights to Terminal F, and remove DAL/SWA etc entirely, then Terminal F remains empty, and no international flights show up. It is true that Terminal E is also used for some international flights, but this mostly overflow for when Terminal F is full. If you would like a log file I will be happy to generate on, but this should be easily reproducible from your end. Andrew
  20. SC is not meant to represent real world ops in real time. With SC you can make the airport busy (or not) at any time you like. You set the total number of desired flights, and plug in a time frame, and it will distribute your chosen number of flights across the selected time frame more or less evenly. That is the beauty of it. You can literally choose however much traffic you like for whatever time you like. As for real world operations. KATL slows down a lot after 11 PM, but unlike EGLL and some other major fields, it never shuts down. FedEx, UPS, and all the other freight dogs get a good bit of work done when the rest of the airport is quiet. Andrew
  21. Can anyone else confirm if they experience the same thing I described in my first point above with heavies not showing up at Terminal F? Better yet, if anyone has seem a 777 or bigger there, please chime in.
  22. Anyone have any luck with getting it to work with kid's voices? My 7-year old desperately wants to try voice control, but no matter what he does, it will not recognize his high-pitched voice. Yesterday he actually went all the way through the full 15 minute MS Speech voice training (I was impressed that he stuck with it all the way through), but the game will still not recognize a single word from him, not even just an aircraft callsign by itself. His speech is quite clear and he does not seem to have any trouble talking with our Amazon Echo. He was so disappointed after all the work he put into it :-(. Now its back to me using my voice and my boy using mouse control. He and I have developed our own version of multiplayer. At KATL we take turns, with him trying to control the north side, and me controlling the south side. Its not very elegant, but we have a blast. Andrew
  23. Cool. Have fun! Andrew
  24. Thanks Craig. That PDF is very helpful. I can assure you KATL definitely does have arrivals in the 8:00 pm hour :-) Also surprises me that they have considerably fewer departures than arrivals between 7-9 am. Early morning is usually a big departure push. Of course, as we know Nyerges schedules tend to be a bit flaky. Oh well. Andrew
  25. +1 Craig Let us know if you have any more trouble Tom, and we will walk you through it. This system so cumbersome. It has so many moving parts that its like programming an old-school VCR. The fact that even experienced users are finding the system confusing is a sign that the system needs to be revamped. I don't want to lose the ability to mod, but there has to be a better way to organize things than this. Andrew
