  1. While making a custom schedule for KLAS I saw a plane N1. Doing some research I found that N1 thru N99 are reserved for FAA internal use. It was assigned to a Gulfstream IV. There was no callsign so would this be addressed as November 1, Gulfstream 1, or is there a special callsign for FAA planes, I could not find that info. Any help appreciated. Peabody
  2. You would definitely not want to use Philly or Lax, they both say the airport name when requesting pushback, so the strips would not be the problem. Other than that I can't be much help. If you are doing it to record, hide the strips on a second monitor and use "contact Heathrow departure" or whatever they say over there for the immersion factor.
  3. As long as you knowwhat they mean, where they are is in the gaandlocaltraffic.txt file // airport_from, airport_to, time, planetype, linecode, stop n go, touch n go, low approach, TIST, TIST, 10:00, CNF, 1N4634, 0, 0, 0, Nero 4634, NERO FOUR SIX THREE FOUR The bolded zeros are how many, Stop n go, touch n go, low approach. Change to a number like 2, 0, 0, and the strip will show "2x Stop and Go" so you issue: #airplane1; RUNWAY ;#runway1; CLEARED FOR STOP AND GO I have never used it but I did ask a similar question when I first got the game. I am not sure if the departure and arrival airport need to be the same.
  4. Dash Driver, That happened to me at KBOS and I didn't understand why either until i learned it was a bug. Just a bit of info on how you can get around the bug if you want to. You can have a plane "line up and wait" on 8L @ A8, then wait for the arrival to land, once he crosses 8L you can then issue a "cleared for takeoff" to 8L as long as you can get him off the ground BEFORE the next plane lands. You will only get -500 if the plane on 8L is moving and still on the ground when the arrival lands. So you have to watch what plane is departing and how close is the next arrival. if in doubt just wait for the next 'gap'. It's a pain but it works. ATControl-Joe called it "shooting the gap" and it is not he most fun way to play but it does work. DO NOT do this on 8L at full length. When you tell a plane to "line up and wait" full length on 8L, HE IS ON 1L. Then the landing plane will cost you -1000 points for a collision. Good luck Peabody
  5. If the rogue planes runs a red light, do you get -500?
  6. Thank you Ariel, as I said I do not think this should get any priority over more important work going on in other airports, it only affects one plane and there is a workaround. But when you have the time and if you plan to use the airport in the next version it may be worth a look. Peabody
  7. I didn't look at it with the camera, the last time I looked was before the update and it was tiny, I guess they did make it bigger! Thanks Hexzed
  8. I was waiting for the fixes for LAS and and going to write some schedules. Looking at FlightAware there are 3 JSX Embraer Erj135s in the time period I was looking at. Are the GA gates big enough for E135s? Another question, the new Amflight that came with the update, I know they shuttle packages for different companies. Were they meant to go in the Cargo terminal or GA, or is it just a matter of put them where I want. Thanks for any help. Peabody
  9. Why didn't I think of that !? of course that's it.
  10. First I want to thank FT and ND for updating KLAS. It is appreciated.........but, leave it to me to bump into a bug first try. There is a problem with the circled plane/gate in the Janet terminal. I ran into the problem playing the game then did some testing and filled the 6 gates with Janets. I don't think it is something that they should drop other more important work to fix since below I do have a workaround for it. But just to let you know about it. Here is the ADIRS image of the gate. When you issue a pushback the plane does not stay in the terminal it comes out onto Taxiway H. So if you hear a pushback request from Janet check which one in case you are taxiing traffic on H. It seems to be only with this gate. This picture is after the issuing "Janet 875 pushback approved expect runway 1L". The plane will be sitting on Hotel. When it says "ground Ready to Taxi" DO NOT issue any commands except "continue taxi" or "Hold position". If you do you will lose control of the airplane. It will no longer accept any commands of any kind and it will NOT move. The next picture below is the command I gave and I lost all control of the plane. As you know the game gives it a route to take, do NOT even repeat that, you will lose the plane. From looking at the log file I believe the problem may be the start point of the route being different than the location of the plane. Obviously the real bug is the fact that the plane taxis onto the taxiway, but I have seen that at other airports and did not lose control of the plane like I did here. Here is an excerpt from the log after issuing a taxi command. 13:05:01 * WWW875 => ADD HISTORY: WWW875: Ground, JANET 875 ready to taxi. COMMAND: WWW875 RUNWAY 1L TAXI VIA H S E D 13:06:30 alt: 0 takeoff: False/False/-1 OWNER_GROUND r: 1L * WWW875 => PARSE CMD: RUNWAY 1L TAXI VIA H S E D 13:06:30 alt: 0 takeoff: False/False/-1 OWNER_GROUND r: 1L * WWW875 => VIA roadcut: RUNWAY 1L TAXI VIA HOTEL SIERRA ECHO DELTA 13:06:30 alt: 0 takeoff: False/False/-1 OWNER_GROUND r: 1L * WWW875 => RUNWAY roadcut: RUNWAY ONE LEFT TAXI VIA HOTEL SIERRA ECHO DELTA 13:06:30 alt: 0 takeoff: False/False/-1 OWNER_GROUND r: 1L * WWW875 => SAY: RUNWAY ONE LEFT TAXI VIA HOTEL SIERRA ECHO DELTA JANET EIGHT SEVEN FIVE 13:06:30 * WWW875 => ADD HISTORY: WWW875: RUNWAY 1L TAXI VIA H S E D WWW875 13:06:30 alt: 0 takeoff: False/False/-1 OWNER_GROUND r: 1L * WWW875 => STATE CHANGE from STATE_TO_RUNWAY to STATE_TO_RUNWAY 13:06:30 alt: 0 takeoff: False/False/-1 OWNER_GROUND r: 1L * WWW875 => Start calc route from: Jan_1 start idx: 5 13:06:30 alt: 0 takeoff: False/False/-1 OWNER_GROUND r: 1L * WWW875 => Calc from: Jan_1 WWW875 => ERROR: Road calculation error!! 0 I issued the exact path the game gave it, but after this the plane would no longer accept ANY commands and more importantly it would NOT move. I suspect the problem may be trying to start the taxi at Jan_1, but since the plane is now on Hotel, it can no longer do a route from Jan_1 (terminal/apron/ramp) Now the workaround after doing a bit of testing: Once this plane is on Hotel (and it will be the only one that does go onto Hotel) just issue a "Continue Taxi" command until it gets on to Sierra. Once it has left Hotel, you can change routes, runways, anything you could normally do, but not until it leaves Hotel. Of course I have not tested all possible situations but this worked when I was sending to 1L, 1R or 26R. Hope this helps, let me know if you don't have this problem, remember it is only a problem with this one gate not all of them. More info: This does not happen if you "expect 19R" to the north, only when going south. ??? Peabody log attached. Janet875game.log
  11. I have seen the same for a landing plane, I do not know if it did that before the update or not. It works fine for traffic taxing to/from the GA termainals and any plane that lands on 1L taxis across on Sierra. Only an issue with planes that exit 1R at S.
  12. Thank you Vic for the response. I must have missed that, I didn't realize there was a problem with double letter taxiways at JFK. Peabody
  13. Well, as for testing, I did show in the logfile that the two letter taxiways are now one word, they used to be two words before the SP. And the letter and number taxiway which is what people were having problems with were two words and now are now separated with a comma. I am not a programmer but I don't know why that was changed since it worked fine before with the two letter taxiways. Thank you for listening. Peabody
  14. Win7 only has one voice too, so yes 10 speech is better. Not sure how the taxiways got combined into one word. I know some people had problems with numbered runways, but I didn't know there was a problem with the letters. So I'm not sure why it got changed. The only number I ever had trouble was 1, anything with a 1, 10, 16 so on. I noticed the numbered have a comma now, maybe they can do that with the letters, but maybe they won't do anything, nobody with Win10 has a problem.
  15. Thank you Hexzed !!!! I appreciate the help. Yes the last post was Philly, I had tried KJFK and KLAS to show it was not specific to one airport. Your log file confirms what I was afraid was the problem. They changed the two letter taxiways to one word and it no longer works for me. From your log: SAY: RUNWAY NINER LEFT TAXI VIA TANGOALFA KILO AMERICAN ONE TWO NINER On the taxiways with a letter and number like "K3" they put a comma: KILO,THREE and it reads right, but the two letters don't have a comma, so I think you are right: Win7 can't read it. Before the update it used to be "VIA TANGO ALPHA KILO" Again Thank you, at least I know it's not an install problem or corrupt file.
  16. I uninstalled everything, reinstalled ONLY Tower 3D Pro SP3.3c 1. This is the problem: COMMAND: TAB2361 RUNWAY 9L TAXI VIA J TA K 09:00:48 alt: 0 takeoff: False/False/-1 OWNER_GROUND r: 9L * TAB2361 => PARSE CMD: RUNWAY 9L TAXI VIA J TA K 09:00:48 alt: 0 takeoff: False/False/-1 OWNER_GROUND r: 9L * TAB2361 => VIA roadcut: RUNWAY 9L TAXI VIA JULIET TANGOALFA KILO 09:00:48 alt: 0 takeoff: False/False/-1 OWNER_GROUND r: 9L * TAB2361 => RUNWAY roadcut: RUNWAY NINER LEFT TAXI VIA JULIET TANGOALFA KILO 09:00:48 alt: 0 takeoff: False/False/-1 OWNER_GROUND r: 9L * TAB2361 => SAY: RUNWAY NINER LEFT TAXI VIA JULIET TANGOALFA KILO LESLIE TWO THREE SIX ONE It will not readback TANGOALPHA, it spells it. It works, the planes goes to the taxiway fine, but it will NOT read it as Tango Alpha, it spells T_A_N_G_O_A_L_P_H_A 2. At the same airport I send it via K3: COMMAND: TGB4311 RUNWAY 9L TAXI VIA J K3 K 08:59:51 alt: 0 takeoff: False/False/-1 OWNER_GROUND r: 9L * TGB4311 => PARSE CMD: RUNWAY 9L TAXI VIA J K3 K 08:59:51 alt: 0 takeoff: False/False/-1 OWNER_GROUND r: 9L * TGB4311 => VIA roadcut: RUNWAY 9L TAXI VIA JULIET KILO,THREE KILO 08:59:51 alt: 0 takeoff: False/False/-1 OWNER_GROUND r: 9L * TGB4311 => RUNWAY roadcut: RUNWAY NINER LEFT TAXI VIA JULIET KILO,THREE KILO 08:59:51 alt: 0 takeoff: False/False/-1 OWNER_GROUND r: 9L * TGB4311 => SAY: RUNWAY NINER LEFT TAXI VIA JULIET KILO,THREE KILO GLOBE FOUR THREE ONE ONE Notice in this case which is a letter and a number K3, there is a comma KILO,THREE. This reads back properly as Kilo Three. If the taxiway is two letters NA, MC SB it spells the word, if the taxiway is a letter and a number K3, G2 it reads properly. __________________________________________________________________________________________________ Now to show the difference, I uninstalled SP3.3c and installed the original program I bought "Tower 3D Pro SP2": COMMAND: TGB4311 RUNWAY 9L TAXI VIA J TA K 09:00:24 alt: 0 takeoff: False/False/-1 OWNER_GROUND r: 9L * TGB4311 => PARSE CMD: RUNWAY 9L TAXI VIA J TA K 09:00:24 alt: 0 takeoff: False/False/-1 OWNER_GROUND r: 9L * TGB4311 => VIA roadcut: RUNWAY 9L TAXI VIA JULIET TANGO ALFA KILO 09:00:24 alt: 0 takeoff: False/False/-1 OWNER_GROUND r: 9L * TGB4311 => RUNWAY roadcut: RUNWAY NINER LEFT TAXI VIA JULIET TANGO ALFA KILO 09:00:24 alt: 0 takeoff: False/False/-1 OWNER_GROUND r: 9L * TGB4311 => SAY: RUNWAY NINER LEFT TAXI VIA JULIET TANGO ALFA KILO GLOBE FOUR THREE ONE ONE 09:00:24 * TGB4311 => ADD HISTORY: TGB4311: RUNWAY 9L TAXI VIA J TA K TGB4311 Notice is SP2 the TA is written as two words, TANGO ALPHA and it reads back properly, it does no spell it In both versions the plane still follow the assigned route to the runway and works, it is ONLY the read back that is a problem. One especially annoying is NA at JFK. It spells N-O-V-E-M-B-E-R-A-L-P-H-A. Thank you for looking into this. I appreciate the help. I am including gamelog from SP2. The file named "game.log" is from the update SP3.3c game.log SP2game.log
  17. I updated Tower 3d Pro to SP3.3c, RT sp6v7 and KJFK_for_Tower3D_4.2a One question, is MIKECHARLIE suppose to be two words for taxiway MC? That is what I was trying to find out, if it was changed or if there is a problem. If it was changed to one word then the problem may be Win7 not being able to read it.
  18. I understand that Joe, but I am not as good a player as you, I am now trying to play the "proper way" after watching your videos. Which is the reason I knew that you did not have my problem of the two letter taxiways being spelled instead of spoken like they were before I installed the update. I am just trying to find out if this is a change or maybe an error during install. My log files before the update to SP3.3c listed MC as Mike Charlie and said "Mike Charlie" now the log shows MC as MikeCharlie and it spells it. As for not playing the right way, I am taking one step at a time, I'll get there. This is from the log with no changes to the rec file: PARSE CMD: PUSHBACK APPROVED, EXPECT RUNWAY 13R COMMAND: EDV4029 RUNWAY 13R TAXI VIA A MC P 16:02:34 alt: 0 takeoff: False/False/-1 OWNER_GROUND r: 13R * EDV4029 => PARSE CMD: RUNWAY 13R TAXI VIA A MC P 16:02:34 alt: 0 takeoff: False/False/-1 OWNER_GROUND r: 13R * EDV4029 => VIA roadcut: RUNWAY 13R TAXI VIA ALFA MIKECHARLIE PAPA 16:02:34 alt: 0 takeoff: False/False/-1 OWNER_GROUND r: 13R * EDV4029 => RUNWAY roadcut: RUNWAY ONE THREE RIGHT TAXI VIA ALFA MIKECHARLIE PAPA 16:02:34 alt: 0 takeoff: False/False/-1 OWNER_GROUND r: 13R * EDV4029 => SAY: RUNWAY ONE THREE RIGHT TAXI VIA ALFA MIKECHARLIE PAPA ENDEAVOR FOUR ZERO TWO NINER That is what I am asking help about, MIKECHARLIE is now one word and gets spelled. It still goes on MC but it won't say it. This only happens with two letters, not two numgers. K4 is still spoken as Kilo Four. NA is Spelled as Novemberalpha. That is why I was asking someone to look at a log file and see if their log file has "MIKE CHARLIE" or "MIKECHARLIE". Before the update my log had MIKE CHARLIE. Your response leads me to believe I didn't get any responses because they misunderstand what I am asking. The game works fine, the planes go to the runway, they take off, they land. They speech recognitions works, it is only the readback. As I pointed out in the original post K4 is written as KILO , 4. There is a comma with the letter and number but with two letters there is not. Since I did not get any response, I still don't know if it is a problem with my install or Win7 won't read it correctly.
  19. Deleted, posted in two places
  20. @FeelThere, If possible could I get a response to this? Is this working the way it was intended? In other words is this a problem with Window 7 readback, or is it a problem for maybe a reinstall. @anyone with Windows 7: Since I had no responses, I would like to request anyone using Windows 7 to try a two letter taxiway to see what happens. @anyone with Windows 10 willing to help: Could you try JFK with two letter taxiways and see if the log file shows them written as one word, so I can assume the issue is Win7 and I will have to live with it?
  21. B737Max, There is another side effect to this "hold short of runway/taxiway" you should be aware of (some people know it, some do not). Since you have an LAX map up I will use that. Let's say you have a GA departure in the South Pads. N12MS, so you send him to 25R for departure, "Taxi via A, N, H, P, B" so he taxis to 25L and stops. There is AAL25 landing on 25L and exits at H4, so you "AAL 25 Taxi to ramp via H, P, C." then "AAL25 Hold short of taxiway N" so you can get N12MS across the runway while you have time. So N12MS crosses runway 25L and you tell it "N12MS hold short of runway 24L" so it also crosses runway 25R without stopping. Next you tell AAL25 to "continue taxi", IT WILL NOT STOP at 25R. After you tell a plane to "hold short of taxiway/runway" they will not stop at any runways when you issue a "continue taxi" command, unless you tell them to. If you let them stop at a runway by themselves, then issue "continue taxi" they will stop at the next runway after the "continue taxi" In this same example if you had said "N12MS hold short of Runway 25L" Then issued a "continue taxi", N12MS would not stop at 25R. But if N12MS stops at 25L by himself, then you issue continue taxi, he will also hold short of 25R by himself. Hope that makes sense.
  22. I just installed the newest updates for Tower 3d Pro and Real Traffic and JFK and now I have a read back problem. The game works ok but the readback is messed up. I did not have any speech problems before except taxiways with a one or a ten, C1, B1 etc would not work but all other two letter or two number taxiways worked fine. Now the two number taxiways work fine but the two letter taxiways get spelled. MC will read back as M-I-K-E-C-H-A-R-L-I-E. I did several test at KLAS and all numbered taxiways worked fine. But at JFK, two letter taxiways get spelled, K4 worked fine. From the log file I noticed this: PARSE CMD: PUSHBACK APPROVED, EXPECT RUNWAY 4L VIA A KE K4 K Readback=SAY: GROUND, FOUR LEFT VIA ALFA KILOECHO KILO,FOUR KILO PUSHBACK APPROVED. I noticed there is a comma between Kilo,Four; but on KE it its all one word and the computer spells it. Another one with MC and NA: ONE THREE RIGHT VIA ALFA NOVEMBERALFA BRAVO MIKECHARLIE PAPA I have watched a video by ATControl-Joe and it worked fine, mine does not. Any ideas? Game log attached. Also noticed a problem with 22L reads doodoooolo. (no kidding, I put game speech at slowest speed and I can just make out it is trying to say 22L but at high speed. No sure where to go from here. Thanks in advance for any assistance. Peabody Edit: I should add I am on Win7, if someone using Win7 could try this out it would be appreciated. Also the game works fine the planes go to the right place it is just the readback that is a problem. game.log
  23. 😯 Deltavii you said "apron workers", but "ramp agent".......so I'm still confused....🤔
  24. If you only gave clearance to runway 31 then NO it should not enter the runway. If you gave it clearance to "line up and wait" then hold short of Z, then yes it will enter the runway when you continue. I assume you mean the first example, so no it should not. One thing to keep in mind that DOES happen, planes should stop at all runways. If you give a taxi route that crosses one of more runways then hold short of a taxiway prior to reaching the runway, then issue "continue taxi" at the taxiway, when it reaches the runway(s) it will cross without stopping.
