Look at build specs for a machine to run XPlane 11 and/or P3DV5. Build your computer from the ground up. Off the shelf computers bring many problems. An OEM Win10pro home build gaming desktop, free of the adware and 'user enhancements' are much better.

Pro has more options especially relating to using shared drives on a network. You can also better control the Windows updates ... which Microsoft increasing screws up.

From my experience, and other's reporting, the Win10 voice recognition is better than Win7 and all prior operating systems.

Really the only OS that is currently supported for the game is Win10. Is that what you are asking?

There a 2D pop-ups of all main sub-panels, such as the glareshield.

I'm confused. The spoilers visually? There is indication on the main display system display the spoilers are deployed? The flight dynamics have been significant reworked for SP1 and real-world pilots report even closer performance to the real aircraft. So, again, you see no visual display of the spoilers working? Nothing on the main panel status pages? Nothing externally in tbe wings? The plane doesn't slow faster at flight idle spoilers deployed than with spoilers stowed?

Just to firm, there is spoiler function - meaning the planes slow - it problem is animation of the spoilers deploying. Said another way there is function just no visual representation.

The inaccurate ground 'stickness' in the game makes single e fine taxi problematic. Fuel is free in flightsim so run two engines 😆

Well bummer. Besides some issue with the V2 battle with a Steam FSX I can only guess that there is a hardware/OS issue/problem. Is you audio card (sound) driver up to date?

IMO try reinstalling FSX and then installing the Ejet V2 you have as a first possible solution. If that doesn't work ...

@Skissors_Wolf just to confirm you purchased the steam edition of V2 through the Steam store.

I actually was wondering if compatibility was the problem. I'm stumped. What you report reads like the gauges haven't been approved correct by the sim. Since v2 release, 10+ years, I've no memory of this issue being reported. A last ditch effort is a reinstall of FSX and rebuild the add-ons.
