looks to me as if something in your setup is causing the game to freak out. are any of your controllers sending signals that may confuse the game? unplug all controllers and see what happens. also add that P3DV4.2 is causing all sorts of problems for plane developers as the new coding from 4.1 to 4.2 has caused all sorts of changes -

the simulation is based on the most common Ejets ... the real ones that fly in/out of London City of sub-varients that required changes to the planes system (both structural and the FMS). and with the above stated the simulation is of one that feelThere had access - as each owner (ie, airline) has specification differences in systems and the FMC.

why one system works and another system does not is just how FS and each system are ... joys of when IBM decided to allow 1000s of developers make software & hardware for the PC back in the early 80s. now try turning down refresh rates for the plane's gauges using the configuration utility.
