  1. Sinterklaas (aka "Santa") has been good to the EFFC this year, so he is treated to a much needed vacation by the club members!

First he has a franchise meeting with the associates back in the workshop before coming to Lilliwaup

Then he does some snowboarding near Mt. Olympus

Next he stars in the Annual Presentation of the Nutcracker Suite at the EFFC multipurpose room on behalf of Wabbit (who is about to enter rehab at the EFFC infirmary!)

Pups offers him a first class seat on one of his heavy flights to St. Maartin, bit Santa prefers to sit outside and "take in the view" :!:

Always one for fun, Santa takes the scenic route to Princess Juliana Airport Arrivals! :D

    Continued below!

  2. Gary, you really do need to get a bit more you know

I'm assuming you mean... for Xmas? :P

The grinch prepares to sneak into the EFFC premises accompanied by his dog disguised as the Little Puppy "Reindog"!

PS: Be Good, and I think you'll get a bit more... fun this Holiday too, Dougal!

  3. Looks Good Larry! :D

I'll probably have an FSX compatible extended airfield flatten available to test before the fly-in by Early to Mid-January 2008 (if not sooner) to help make things a little less "unusual" around Emma Field 2004 when loaded into FSX.

That way if folks wanted to use Emma for the fly-in, it would still be available to them (in an altered state at least!).

However, I would not want this to disrupt any preparations already underway with the limited time you might have available beforehand, so let me know by PM or E-Mail if you wanted to try this out as soon as it is ready. :)

Hmmm... if we normalize the terrain, I wonder how it will affect behavior at the EFFC Forum?

    Normal ? . . . N A H H H ! ! !

  4. What is with all this nonsense

I thought this was a Forum of Desktop Aviation Enthusiasts!!

Why is there pictures of 'Naked Chicks' here? :P

    Seriously..

    Thanks for the laughs..

I've missed the 'Off The Wall' humor found here.

WARNING... UNCENSORED PICTURE WITH FOWL CONTENT!

This is the delightful, main attraction that kept me giving Thanks over the recently past Holiday last month here in the USA!

    PS: Welcome back, Madaz!

  5. Hi John:

Looks like Cecil is busy getting ready for the Holidays (or maybe still sleeping off the old #5 "nerve tonic" he used for that last flight!).

Those were from his mod of Emma Field 2004 using EZ Scenery, and I believe an older set of API macro scenery objects back between Emma Field 2002 and Emma Field 2004 when the EFFC did a "restoration pack" while agonizing over whether we would even (ever?) see an Emma Field for FS2004.

I think he made a few modifications last year when Fritz was away behind the Iron Curtain.

Fritz made the mistake of leaving the keys to the asylum with the inmates... some of whom  opted to "spruce things up a bit" in his absence!

    viewtopic.php?f=19&t=51553&hilit=nation

Gawd, I just went back through that older thread... what a laugh riot!

There are a number of great add-ons for Emma Field being kept available for us thanks to the generosity of Simon aka a37gnome here (thanks again, Simon!):

NOTE: Looks like there is a recent glitch in Simon's site, and a couple of categories are missing now... "Lean+Mean Militia" hackers maybe?

Be sure to use the "View All Files" method to look for files, as one would otherwise miss some files including Bill+Phils addons etc.!

BTW, I saw this along the road near where Emma Field would be in the real world: :P

    Hope this helps, John! :D

  6. Hi all:

Well, the Bushman is fun, but the cash I left on the grass strip had already vanished by the time I got back down.

I saw some guy with a hat running off into the trees by the winch, so I swooped down pretending I was reconnoitering for a haggis or deer roundup, but he got away!

I also spotted Cecil's "little buddy" over by his private hangar, prepping another "unreal" aircraft for some fun around Emma Field!

For those inclined to have some exhilaration with these novel aircraft types, Bill Lyons' Kellet in the "Golden Hawaii" package is nice for slow and relaxed scenic tours... but good luck landing with it on my hard-earned cash!

Maybe we could do a fly-in sometime using only these types of craft just for exhibition stunts and laughs (*.aero rodeo)? :P

  7. Me again... :)

Cecil, this is one very cool little aircraft!

Wait till you try the engine start sequence... great fun, this one!

If anyone hears redundant noise (besides that in my lengthy posts! ) it'll be me circling overhead looking for my "change" from that big denomination in paper money I left laying out on the Emma Field grass strip somewhere! :P

  8. Hi Cecil:

That was a great post; I'm off to get that one and try it out! :D

    [Edited:]

Found the wheeled and float versions here (simviation... but not on AVSIM):

    WHEELED: http://www.simviation.com/cgi-bin/syb.cgi?section=vintage&file=X-Gyro3.zip

    FLOAT: http://www.simviation.com/cgi-bin/syb.cgi?section=vintage&file=X-GyroF3.zip

Some fun repaints for it are here (or on a nearby "later" page):

    http://www.simviation.com/fs2004vintage24.htm

BTW: If we land on anything larger than a dime, will we still get some change back? :P
