The *sp6v[x].exe installer overwrites (if necessary) and adds new files for all airports, whether owned by the user or not. It should be easy to distribute the current text file to the airport folders before compiling the executable. Has this ever been suggested to @nyergesdesign ? Edit: Of course, you would have to check for each airport if model identifiers appear twice. Obviously this means more work, but in the end it's a paid product and I feel you can expect that.

That does the trick, but raises the question why the schedule creator has more aircraft models in that file than the "average user". π If he had added the model manually, there would at least be a hint in the ReadMe, wouldn't it? There is also a much more pressing question... How'd you figure that out? Did you really worked your way through the schedule and airplanes file line by line, "Du VerrΓΌckter"? ππ

Seems like this schedule just isn't for me. KBOS (sp2) and RT (sp6v12) newly downloaded and re-installed, 0600, 1000, 1400, 1800 and 2200 tested from the corresponding folders. The loading of the airport stops at either 63% or 72% - I waited roughly 5 minutes each. This is the first time I have had problems with a custom schedule. With the standard RT schedule the airport loads without any hassle.

No, I'm absolutely sure you CAN DO that! Just not the other way around, as you wrote in the opening post! π Edit: An attempt at explanation.. Even if it is obviously not always the case, you should assume that the landing aircraft needs at least half of the runway until the landing process is finished. Technically, the arriving aircraft is still in the air during this time. Airplanes usually take off before halfway. If you take off from the runway further back, there may be two planes in the air that are too close to each other for the game. If you use the runway further forward for departures, you create more space between the planes and avoid penalties. If you wait with the take off clearance until the game has credited you with the 10 points for a successful landing, you should theoretically also be able to take off from the posterior runway. But I haven't tried that myself yet.

It surely is a weird issue since the via command works fine for me and other users. The log files would probably be the first source to check. I don't know exactly how many posts it takes until the forum allows 4.88 MB uploads. If it is not yet available to you and you can't post the log files in the forum yet, I would contact FeelThere directly. I hope the problem can be solved.

I'm a little confused. Why do you leave your original thread? There were users who wanted to help. If I get you right, then T!3Dpro does understand you correctly and without problems. Only if you say "taxi via", it will not be understood. Have you tried different speech paces or a clean installation to exclude modified files? What have you done so far to tackle the issue? Do you use the latest version of the game? (v1.2.78.946 SP3.3c) You can contact FeelThere, including file attachments, via ZenDesk. Just go to their website (https://www.feelthere.com/), click on "Contact us" and then on "Submit a request".

Expected level of traffic at KPHL with default install
EliGrim replied to blacklabelbraai's topic in ATC Simulators
@blacklabelbraai don't be afraid of hexzed's schedule. It is a really good one and you'll get used to it. https://forum.simflight.com/topic/86112-tower-3d3d-pro-custom-schedule-for-tiststt-v30/ If you prefer a slightly easier approach, try my schedule. Here you only have to deal with 10 different airlines and some GA traffic. 1200h should be a pleasant entry point. Basically, I've created the schedule for myself to get used to the game, without being over- or underchallenged in the early stages. https://forum.simflight.com/topic/86474-custom-schedules-by-eligrim-eddm-klax-kphl-tist/ Maybe my little reference card will help, too. https://forum.simflight.com/topic/86407-quickstart-reference-card-voice-commands/ More detailed is rameus' PDF, as a much more usable manual than the original one. https://forum.simflight.com/topic/84559-tower3d-pro-user-manual-annotated/ -
There should be no need to follow any link. Just make sure Steam updates the game. Please check, when you start the game, it says v1.2.78.946 SP3.3c in the bottom left corner. That should be the latest (and last) version.

Hmmmm... If the game is paused, the only voice related thing that changes is (to my knowledge) the game sound. Are you sure, if it workes while the game is paused, your microphone is not picking up any game sound? If you use windows, please let the game run, go to your Desktop, right-click on the speaker icon in the bottom-right part of the screen and choose Sounds, then Recording and check if the volume meter for your microphone indicates a sound. If that's the case, there's something wrong with the sound settings. If not, then I have no clue.
-
Did it worked before? Have you changed Windows sound settings or installed additional sound related software? Is it possible, that the game sound and your voice are transmitted on the same channel? Do you use speakers, so game sound or other noises are picked up by your microphone?

1. Make sure your computer hears you. If "Cortana" is not disabled, check if you can ask a question. 2. Press Windows-Logo + Ctrl + S. (On a german keyboard: Windows-Logo + Strg + S) 3. Speech Recognition will open up 4. Set it to "Off" 5. Optionally it can be run at Windows startup 6. Train speech recognition a few times (Improve voice recognition) 7. Start the game as admin

@pkorkala It's great to get some feedback. And if it's a positive one... even better! Thanks a lot! π

I give up - the problem is not detectable with my modest capabilities! But here's what I can tell you: ADIRS at KFJK is generally somewhat laggy, compared to the other airports in my collection. It gets bad (for me) when ADIRS is separated and displayed on a second monitor and after a while pinned back to the main screen. It varies from one to five minutes, but then the performance of ADIRS is beyond good and evil. It's confusing because it's all ADIRS and the rest runs smoothly. I don't have this problem with any other airport add-on. If no one has an idea, I will simply ignore KJFK in my airport list. This is much more healthier than constantly getting annoyed about incidents I notice too late, because of ADIRS only runs with one frame per 1-2 seconds. (That's not the case all the time, but repeatedly).

I can't make anything unusual out of T!3Dpro on my PC. Here's a quick comparison:
-
I have already completed the usual approaches. I'll have some time in the middle of next week. Then I take a closer look at the whole thing.
-
Yeah, I always do. Strange is that it is only ADIRS at KJFK, the rest (DBRITE, etc.) runs smoothly.

Custom (REAL) Traffic #12 -- Boston v2.0 -- Summer 2018
EliGrim replied to ATControl -- Joe's topic in ATC Simulators
Sorry, just forgot to write two words: Pick the starting time 'you want'... The 4 kbos txt files in the main folder of the download are containing the whole day. The files in the hourly folders contain only a few hours, which usually leads to shorter loading times and better performance. If you want to play many hours (4+) at a time, you should use the files for the whole day. -
Custom (REAL) Traffic #12 -- Boston v2.0 -- Summer 2018
EliGrim replied to ATControl -- Joe's topic in ATC Simulators
Pick the starting time (folder) from the Summer folder of the download. There will be 4 files in it. Then navigate to the games KBOS folder. ..\Tower 3D Pro\Extensions\Airfields\KBOS or ..\Steam\steamapps\common\Tower 3D Pro\Extensions\Airfields\KBOS Copy over the files in the games KBOS folder with the files from the download - overwrite them. I recommend making a copy of the original files to restore them if necessary. Start the game... -
Thanks for the response. Then I will take a closer look at it in the next few days and also check how it behaves with custom schedules.
-
Does anyone know why the ADIRS at KJFK is so laggy in T!3Dpro? After some time it only runs with 1 frame per 1 to 2 seconds. I noticed it already several times. I use the latest updates for airport, RT and RC. Is it just me or is the problem known? And what is much more important, is there a fix for it? KJFK is the only Add-On (of those I own) with which I have problems each time.

How is the Session Time (session stats) calculated?
EliGrim replied to pete_agreatguy's topic in ATC Simulators
Did a little test. Actually, a couple of tests. The Session Time starts as soon as the airport is loaded and then it gets weird. With my Windows user for T!3Dpro, U.S. English, game started as admin, the time continues to run when the game is paused and that accurately. If you press ESC and then click CONTINUE, the game time seems to run slower in the meantime. With my default Windows user, native language, T!3Dpro not running as admin, the time stops when the pause icon or ESC is pressed. If the game, with this account, is executed as admin, the time continues in the pause, but stops when ESC is pressed, until the game is resumed with CONTINUE. What is good is that the session time could not be manipulated by changing the system time. Otherwise, as the name suggests, every possibility of counting the time seems to be a possibility. Edit: For the challenge a video proof may be needed! π -
