  1. Was a valid question. A few years ago, I wouldn't have known.
  2. In association with computer graphics it is Physically Based Rendering. PBR is the attempt on a mathematical level to render light in such a way that a photorealistic, simulated computer model is created. Edit: Did a quick search to make sure not to tell nonsense: http://www.codinglabs.net/article_physically_based_rendering.aspx

  5. By that I mean that I wasn't expecting airlines like American, Delta, Lufthansa or KLM to do so well. I had expected airlines like Muse, Piedmont or Olympic to do better, but I'm looking forward to get the old liveries and aircraft models of those airlines that are still operating to play with in T!3D. We'll also get defunct Airlines with this vote. By "winners" I meant that these airlines are winning (as it looks at the moment) over airlines that have ceased operations, which surprised me. Not that only still operating airlines seem to be winning.
  6. LFPG and EDDM in particular appear to be problem children. I have had problems with EDDM when using many custom schedules. So far only the following has helped me (on Windows 10): 1. uninstall EDDM 2. clear Windows temp AND cache 3. re-install EDDM 4. install the latest version of REAL TRAFFIC (to overwrite all custom schedules of all airports) Windows 10 caches significantly more files than previous versions to reduce load times and increase overall performance. How exactly this is related to the EDDM DLC, I could not find out since I had enough free storage and free RAM. But to my mind there is a correlation. Whether this is also the case here, of course, I cannot say.
  7. It looks like the winners are, or will be, airlines that are still operating. Not necessarily a bad thing, quite the opposite, but it surprises me a little.
  8. According to current information (without guarantee): PAX (747-400): KJFK CARGO (747-400F, 747-8F): KDFW Such information can be found in less than 5 seconds with the RC-Aircraft Master List by @Pedantic G!
  9. I usually start here: Airlines (https://airlinecodes.info/) Airports (https://www.world-airport-codes.com/) Then I check if the information matches with Wikipedia. (https://en.wikipedia.org/) If not, I extend the search with the search engine of my choice. (https://www.qwant.com/) If I cannot resolve a discrepancy even after an intensive search, I usually go with the Wikipedia information. This is just an example of how I proceed. It does not mean that it should or even has to be done this way. Edit: If you watch a playback of a flight on e.g. Flightradar24, you can easily get the IATA and ICAO code.
  10. Installation paths for the different versions: Tower!3D Airports: [path to FeelThere directory]\Tower!3D Real Traffic: [path to FeelThere directory]\Tower!3D Real Color: [path to FeelThere directory]\Tower!3D\Extensions\Airplanes\Texturepacks Tower!3D (Steam version) Airports: [path to Steam directory]\steamapps\common\Tower! 3D (non-pro) Real Traffic: [path to Steam directory]\steamapps\common\Tower! 3D (non-pro) Real Color: [path to Steam directory]\steamapps\common\Tower! 3D (non-pro)\Extensions\Airplanes\Texturepacks Tower!3D Pro Airports: [path to FeelThere directory]\Tower!3D Pro Real Traffic: [path to FeelThere directory]\Tower!3D Pro Real Color: [path to FeelThere directory]\Tower!3D Pro\Extensions\Airplanes\Texturepacks Tower!3D Pro (Steam version) Airports: [path to Steam directory]\steamapps\common\Tower 3D Pro Real Traffic: [path to Steam directory]\steamapps\common\Tower 3D Pro Real Color: [path to Steam directory]\steamapps\common\Tower 3D Pro\Extensions\Airplanes\Texturepacks ℹ️ The "Tower 3D Pro" or "Tower 3D" folder might or might not be named "Tower!3D Pro" or "Tower!3D" with an exclamation mark. Therefore I recommend to always select the path manually when installing DLCs. If the installation path was not changed during installation, the path to the "FeelThere" directory should be "C:\Program Files (x86)\FeelThere\". For "Steam", it would be "C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\". If the path has been adjusted, the folders will be found accordingly. ℹ️ If the "FeelThere" or "Steam" folder cannot be found in "Program Files (x86)", it may have been created in "Program Files".

  12. I do not own Tracon, but the variable range would have to refer to an additional, freely adjustable marker. Try setting it to an odd number and see if an additional ring appears.
  13. I like KMEM quite a lot and always come back to it by trying out different strategies with highly unrealistic fantasy schedules. So far I have not noticed any unforgivable bugs. However, I can't say how the airport feels if you prefer a realistic approach.
  14. At about this time we should be in the middle (more or less) of the worldwide New Year celebrations. And before things get serious for me, I wanted to wish you all a Happy New Year. Keep it up as usual and then it will be a great year 2020 for all of us in this forum. 🥳
  15. If you write one more post, the upload limit should increase.
  16. After one year my access was also blocked. I contacted BMT Micro and after a few hours the download was available again. Same link, same password. This would not make sense with a hacked account. (Hackers would attack the server and not email accounts in this case by the way.) As I understand it, there are 4 scenarios: 1. Excessive access will result in a 48 hour ban, repetition will probably block the password 2. Exhaustion of the maximum downloads 3. Inactivity over a period of time 4. Expiry of the period during which the password can be used Should I be subject to a misjudgement, please correct me.
  17. You sure he will tell? 😉 Because of the loop it can be a video or image sequence with alpha. I doubt that the snow is an effect that comes from the game engine. I would solve it with an overlay during or after the recording. With the foggy mode and an appropriate opacity setting it can appear as if the snow is behind the windows (ADIRS, etc.). Of course I can't say how Joe did that exactly. Maybe he actually programmed it into the game somehow, who knows. I don't think it really matters that much. In the end it's a fantastic idea and looks great.
  18. Yeah, that's weird! Up to now I never had problems with blank lines, no matter in which text file. It doesn't seem to have been the problem here either (at least on my side). Obviously the CS1 at KBOS triggered something, so that the model now works for me with all airport DLCs. Maybe this behaviour of the game engine could explain some so far unexplainable multiplayer connection problems. Anyway, it's best not to question too much... V2 is coming! 😉
  19. You are right, it now works for me, too. 1. Tested your schedule at KJFK (with empty line): No arrivals 2. Your schedule with CS3 instead of CS1 WITH empty line: Arrivals were coming 3. Your schedule with CS1 and without empty line: No arrivals 4. Tested an arriving CS1 at OMDB: Arrivals were showing up but not the CS1 one 5. Tested an arriving CS1 at KBOS: Everything worked fine From that moment on, CS1 seems to work for me at every airport now, including KJFK itself, even with one or more blank lines in the schedule!
  20. You sure that makes a difference? Don't the models come from RT and not from airport DLCs?
  21. Line 44: DTW, JFK, CS1, DL, 1135, 17:12, 12:00, 1, DL It looks like not all airport DLCs can handle BCS1s. If you change the A220-100 into an A220-300 (CS3) the arrivals should come!
