  1. Dear Folks, There is an issue with the Steam installer and we are working on it. It should be fixed within a few hours. Looks like we had some gremlins during the release and as Blazemonger noticed it we made a mistake in the description too (that one is fixed already).   2. The current code has a two steps of verification for any plane for a free gate to try to help the user who may forget or simply delays a pushback request. What we plan is a single verification for the next version where your job would be harder but we will also provide you a solution as well in form of non ending taxi routes. So far this is what we are discussing for the terminals. Oh and as an added benefit you will see the target gate much sooner than the current version allows it. So many times when I was spotting planes at LAX I saw those QFAs were towed away from the terminals but I wonder how often they do that with other flights? Vic
  3. Kev, I apologize if my answer came out negative. I'm not a coder by all means there are much smarter people in the team :) However one thing I learned is that there are things that very easy to process by the human brain but when you wish to translate to code then it becomes difficult. You are absolutely correct about "easy to see numbers" as our brain can process it just by looking at them but it's hard to explain to the code :) Naturally it will go to the wishlist for the next version.   4. Craig, Grumpy- It's something I can't explain in depth as we are under NDA but the schedule.txt file missing has nothing to do with this issue. Let me check this and come back to you. Please make sure Tracon installs the file called "vnttrp.tit" before you apply the Real Traffic add-on. Vic
  5. Not a bad idea, but how would you make the rule to make sure the plane is not towed somewhere while it needs to departure from some gate? I love the idea of having more planes than gates (in fact I push for an open ended taxiway instruction where you can "park" the plane at any intersection) but we need to make sure this theory works in the sim too. Vic
  6. Hi Kev, This is not supported in Tower as there is no way to tell under the same code who is cargo and who is pax. Vic

  10. I just double checked the product and the links are updated to SP1. Please make sure to clear your cache. Also it's a good idea to fully unistall KSFO before you re-install the new one. Thank you Vic
  11. Dear Folks, Last week we rolled out an SP for KSFO. The latest version is SP1. For feelthere, atcsuite customers it's an easy fix by re-downloading it from the same link they received during purchase and it was automatic on Steam. It fixes the holdings for runways and some taxi issues. Thank you Vic

  14. Our upcoming ERJ will require P3D4.2 and we will see if that solves any problems (by making it 4.2 compatible only). Based on the information we collected 4.2 is causing issues for other developers as well so we are still watching this problem. Vic

  17. Absolutely! If it's a bug we always try to fix them. If you mean giving taxi instructions without "endpoints" such as runways or terminals (pretty much sending the plane to some crossing or similar point) that's on our list too. It will be required for a cool and exciting new feature we plan to add into the next version. Vic
  18. Gary, Yes, it's still on our todo list. Since the beginning of the year we've released 3 patches for Tower and just about to release the first SP for KSFO. As far as I remember we also released a patch for KJFK too. Please believe me we are working hard and not sitting on some beaches sipping coctails and laughing on KLAS's problems :) Seriously; some work is already done on KLAS but since we have different teams working on different airports it is possible to see some new releases while some SP is delayed. It's not greed or ignorance it's simply the fact the team who works on the SP has some trouble fixing something and the other team who developed the next release was done before the other fixed the existing airport.   19. Folks, The development of Tower!3D Pro is pretty much done. It was released over a year ago and we just released the latest patch yesterday proving we care about supporting it but there are things that we must leave for the next version. We are making a master list of similar requests and suggestions and when the time will come we will open a "wishlist" topic too. Vic
  20. Dear Folks, We just released a service pack for fixing some voice recognition issues involving taxiways with number (ie.: L2, K3, etc). We used Tracon!:SE's voice engine and worked it even further to what we consider so far the best voice recognition in Tower!XX's history. It should give you a fast and reliable voice recognition. We strongly suggest training your Windows voice recognition a few more times (each times it will give you a different text making V R more reliable). As usual; existing feelThere.com, ATCSuite.com customers can get the latest by re-downloading from the same link, Steam customers can use Steam's built in updater and we are about to submit this build to our 3rd party resellers in the upcoming days.   23. We are working on an SP for Tower!3D Pro to solve the KJFK hold short at A and B issue as well as this new speech issue. The beta testing will begin either today or tomorrow and if everything works as should the SP is out sometimes next week. Looks like as we add more features and new airports then some new issues emerge but as always; you can count us to fix these. Thank you for the patience Vic
