  1. Hi all,

I think it is best we have one place for a complete list of custom schedule's already developed (and future ones).

Therefore I have created a blog post (linked below) which I will keep up-to-date with the aid of community developers.

    Complete Custom Schedule's List

PLAYERS (users of a custom schedule):

    1. Support is provided on the airport timetable thread by the developer (i.e. the link found on the table on the blog post above - "Complete Custom Schedule's List").

    2. If there is an error or an issue with a custom schedule, please reply on the appropriate custom schedule thread; not this one! Custom schedule developers do not check this thread for such reports.

    CUSTOM SCHEDULE DEVELOPERS ***IMPORTANT***:

    1. When you create your own custom schedule topic on the forum, please make sure to include "CUSTOM SCHEDULE" in the title along with the airport ICAO code so it is easy to identify. This also allows your schedule to appear in the "complete list" link on the blog post above.

For example, a topic title of "KJFK Custom Schedule Winter 2019 v1.1" (without the speech marks).

    2. I HIGHLY recommend you use a version number in the title and main post to help users identify if they need to update their files. e.g. v1, v2 or v1.1, v1.2 etc.

    3. If you need to make changes to your schedule after release; please update the original post. Do NOT start a new topic unless you are posting a schedule based upon a different time period.

    4. Not required but HIGHLY recommended: To achieve maximum compatibility for users who wish to play your schedule on multiplayer; it is recommended you create "hourly snippets". Between 3-6 hourly snippets should suffice, depending on the number of flights within the time period of your schedule's hourly snippet.

For example; create your schedule, provide the full timetable "schedule.txt" but also provide hourly snippets: 0600-1000, 1000-1400, 1400-1800, 1800-2200 or similar depending on the flow between those hours. These can also overlap as well; e.g. 1000-1500, 1400-1800 and 1700-2300.

Why do this? It helps prevent long loading times and loading issues; i.e. a schedule not loading and players getting disconnected (see here for an example).

    5. Not required but recommended: Please provide a chart or table of your timetable (hourly is suggested) so that it is easy for users to pick a time slot to play.

    6. If you have any new schedules, either PM me the link or DM me it on the Multiplayer discord server so I can update the blog post. If you would like me to add special developer notes to the blog post (or amend what I have stated already), please feel free to PM or discord DM me and I shall happily do so.

Please send me only one message. I am not as active on here due to other commitments elsewhere and losing interest in the current version of T3D. I aim to reply and add your schedule within at least a week; though usually less - especially if contacted via the discord server mentioned.

If you send me more than one message in a fortnight, it is likely I will not reply or add your schedule due to your gross negligence on how to follow simple instructions as outlined in this very post.

    Granted.

I was just annoyed and frustrated that there wasn't real colour traffic - again I repeat it is "Tower 3D" and those who purchased the RC are left out when missing textures.

I do see it from his point of view. I just don't agree with it in terms of what us RC users have. A custom schedule is always going to be better than the default. There is so much more diversity.

Others who have created schedules have used the available aircraft and updated when others have been added via other DLC releases. Examples being but not limited to @crbascott, @Controller- Rogue, @hexzed and @jonas243.

They have all created fantastic schedules and it is excellent that such people do create such mods :) That I am thankful of. Personally I love them all. I was just disappointed by @ATControl -- Joe's differences.

I feel that you are not listening to what I am saying, or you are mis-understanding what I have said above.  So I will clarify a few statements:

I've already read and took in everything you and everyone else above have stated. I have highlighted above that I do appreciate all your custom work and others. I have already apologised for my harsh comments - and removed them I might add, which I agree with, they were harsh. I am not going to apologise again.

To add, I I have never "complained" before about any other custom work. You can see my forum post history for evidence of that. In fact it has been the complete opposite. And if I do have issues with their schedule, I will post appropriately and ask for help in order to resolve those issues - which is what I have done here.

To clarify, I was reporting issues I had with your custom schedule. They were not meant as complaints. I was upset that I had no real colours with some aircraft and can understand now if you took that as a complaint. I did mean well - not just for myself but others who have RC installed.

I will repeat ... I much prefer any custom schedule to default traffic schedule - they are always much better (inc. yours).

I have already made the changes needed in order to have the real colour traffic as suggested, which I do appreciate. AKA Thank you.

Oh, and once again, myself and anyone else who writes schedules DO NOT CONTROL WHAT LIVERIES are in the game.  Go complain to Nyerges.

I missed this in your readme file and in the main post about the missing textures. So that is my fault. My mistake. Which we all do as humans. Highlighting this or having it higher in your original post or a phrase "read all below before using" may help others avoid this conflict in the future :)

I resolved the texture issues for now but cannot use your schedule further until the MP007 tournament is finished as I am through to round 3 in that, so I will play more of this schedule after that has ended.

I'll send you a DM regarding another comment you mentioned above as that doesn't need to be resolved in open public view.

Cool idea to have retro planes, but highly doubt it will happen 🙄

If it did then you'd want retro liveries too

As a side note i and my family is from Bristol, and my dad has photos of concordes maiden flight out of Filton😀

Did you get to see her in person?

  4. I remember when she use to visit EGNM and she would line up and wait at taxiway Delta. Full throttle and take off with afterburners fully lit up. Standing at the end of runway 14 the path literally shook as she flew by. Just stunning beautiful. She is sadly missed.

Cannot believe the hanger they put up at Manchester :(

But just remember he don't have to make the schedule available to everyone for free but he does and I for one thank him. A little editing isn't to much to do. Thanks Joe.

  6. If there is an "N" prior to a given number / with or without letters you simply use the latter as the callsign minus the beginning "November".

i.e. N843GS would be "eight four three golf seria" or N1 would be "one" in your situation :)

  8. I know that when me and gnome play Tower3D; if pushbacking aircraft in a random order rather than sequentially, we tend to re-organised them at the runway.

e.g. aircraft 1 pushes back after aircraft 3 and aircraft 2

Just prior to the runway, tower or ground re-organises the order by using the usual taxiway options (if available) so that aircraft 1 can line up and wait in front of aircraft 2 and 3.
