Tower!3D Pro - Issue with Headings < 100
FeelThere_Vic replied to crbascott's topic in ATC Simulators
We are looking into this. However there is no such a heading 000. It must be 360. -
Hi Russel, Please to run it in windowed mode. We are aware of this issue and we will look into this. Vic
-
Bill, You can install it just like you install any other product from Steam; run the Steam client and click install. You can install the 2011 add-ons by pointing their installer to your Tower!2011:SE folder. Vic

Did you check what the link suggested?

Looks like you have this problem: https://social.msdn.microsoft.com/Forums/vstudio/en-US/9075023b-8bc4-4632-a573-77470b403a48/i-get-an-audioexception-0x2 Although it some settings on your system (or a broken install somewhere) we would like to to ask a few things to see if we can help; First of all can you please tell me what is the exact version of your windows including language settings? Vic

Touche :) It's still in the pipeline and we hope to release it after the patches :)
-
I'm afraid your video card is not really ready for such a task. It's a built in card with less than a GB memory.
-
Yes, we are working on it :) In a perfect world it will be available for Tower!3D and Tower!3D Pro the next week or the latest the following. This is our top priority now. I wonder if you are concerned a release of a "certain" future airport add on such as Atlanta? ;) Vic
-
Hi Russel, There is absolutely no preparation needed for T!3DP for the second monitor. If Windows can see them both you can simply undock any radar screen or the stips and move it wherever you want to. Vic
-
Yes they are, you can use the existing add-ons with it.

"Audio device error encountered. - Error Code: 0x2" There is something's wrong with either a sound driver or speech on your computer.
-
Yes, this is a Steam only release for now. We'll see if we release it on ATCSuite in the future, but it was meant to be released on Steam.

Dear Folks, We just released Tower!2011:SE on Steam. What is Tower!2011:SE? It is pretty much an optimized Tower!2011, with fixed follow company, full Windows 10 compatibility and it also got the voice recognition from Tower!3D for even better reliability. Tower!2011:SE is available on Steam. This time we are not offering discount for previous customers but Tower!2011:SE sells for $24.99 now, but for a week we even offer and additional 40% discount from this low price (selling to a little less than $15). We added 5 of the airport DLCs for $9.99 already and please expect the rest of the catalogue to follow. Fully compatible with the Nyerges Design Real Traffic, Real Color add-ons (Tower!2011 versions). Thank you Vic

Tower3D! - KJFK Taxi to Terminal Issues
FeelThere_Vic replied to mickey2damouse's topic in ATC Simulators
Pathfinding may take alittle longer on bigger and complex airports. This is normal. If you have Tower!3D Pro you can ask the landing airplane to exit at the next taxiway so it will not get held back by the previously landed traffic. -
Could you please post the fix? Maybe other users can learn from this. Thank you Vic
-
Please delete your log files (both game.log and speech.log) and re-load the game using tower.bat. Once the log files are re-generated please repost them.
-
Was Tower!3D Pro working perfectly before? Looks like something totally corrupted it.

Tower!3d Pro - Line up and wait Behind next Landing AC
FeelThere_Vic replied to NovemberFoxtrot's topic in ATC Simulators
It is not a bug. Tower is recording the time when the plane touches down as a trigger for landing. By using a taxiway/runway intersection just about the middle of the runway (I'm not expert at the real world TIST operation but I'm always certain IF they use that taxiway for takeoff I hope they are cautious not to use a landing behind landing airplane command in real life). So you are trying to use the sim for a way it is not intended in the sim neither in real life that we simulate :) Vic -
Thank you. Let us investigate it.
-
If there is no log file generated most likely it's somehow a permission issue on your computer. Please make sure you have read/write permission to the folder and if it fails re-install Tower to a different location. Thank you Vic

Tower3D Pro KSAN wont load, it sits loading at 99%
FeelThere_Vic replied to Gunu's topic in ATC Simulators
It does, but Tower!3D uses 3 hours of traffic information so if there is no traffic for 3 hours then it will not work. It's not KSAN. If you just pick another time it will work.- 11 replies

Tower3D Pro KSAN wont load, it sits loading at 99%
FeelThere_Vic replied to Gunu's topic in ATC Simulators
Your KSAN didn't load because there was no traffic for 3 hours from the set time. There is a "fast forward" in the code that will advance the time to the first traffic and just like AirborneCDS told you there is a gap at KSAN with more than 3 hours of no traffic. Please select a different time and then it should work. Vic- 11 replies

Tower!3D Pro - Low Traffic Due to Gate Availability
FeelThere_Vic replied to crbascott's topic in ATC Simulators
..and it will be added onto the list of the next version of Tower as well. We hope it will make the feature list but please understand just because it's on the list or requested is not a guarantee it will make it. T!3D has about 100 (visible or hidden) new functions compared to T!2011. -
Dear Folks, T!3D was optimized to a 2 hours session (as in real life we are not aware of any Tower that would allow you to control more than 2 hours without break). In another topic I explained the limitation and the compromises we had to make for the schedule, please look for it. Although I wont promise that we will test and optimize the game for 3+ hours of gameplay but if you could post your log file after running out of flights we would definitely look into this to see if we can do something about it without causing even bigger (and more reasonable) problems.
