By looking at the contents of the Airplanes folders, you should be able to figure out what airlines have liveries for what plane models.
-
Yes he does, if he really wants his customer base to know what's going on. Not every one does, or should for that matter, use Facebook.
-
Due to space, not all taxiways are labeled. You'll need to have a KPHL airport diagram handy. However, sadly, FeelThere implemented an old version of this airport so current charts will not accurately represent the airport. Although, for the taxiways you highlighted a current chart will probably do.

It's the same game engine plus I've never paid full price for a DLC. So, it will be a while at best and more than likely not at all. I miss it too. 😢
-
Sad! As soon as a new airport gets released, customers are asking for custom schedules. What does that tell you? Hopefully, this is something that can be addressed in the next version.
-
This can definitely be done using the airport editor.
-
You really think Vic and Gabor want personal messages from all the curious forum members asking about what's next? 🤔 PS - Andrew has been around since the Tower!2011 days so he's very familiar with the current and past developers.

I'm having a hard time determining where the loading issue is occurring but if it is after you select an airport/runways have you tried renaming the airport shadow RAW file as mentioned in the following threads? https://forum.simflight.com/topic/81631-tower-2011-several-problems/ https://forum.simflight.com/topic/78907-eddf-wont-start/ https://forum.simflight.com/topic/79738-tower-2011-dfw-unplayable/

The game is old, so there’s really no new schedules for it. There is no schedule editing program per se.
-
1) You can choose a single active arrival runway on the setup screen if you so desire. However, if you want both runways to be active you are at the whim of the game engine. While in game, you can use the ENTER FINAL RUNWAY or possibly the CHANGE TO RUNWAY commands to alter the assigned runway. 2) You can edit the terminal assignments yourself, but only at an airline level. I don't have EGLL, but the filename should be something like Heathrow_Airport_terminal.txt in your Airfields folder. 3) After landing, right clicking on the plane on the ADIRS screen should show you the gate. I believe when the plane is in the air, right clicking on the DBRITE screen may show you the terminal or gate - can't remember it's been a few years since I've played 2011.

Why do you need custom schedules when you have Real Traffic? 😉

Community Project - New Livery Requests for RC KSFO (San Francisco)
crbascott replied to hexzed's topic in ATC Simulators
Plus Mesa also flies for American Airlines. But, as you said, they don’t file to SFO so this is moot. -
Very familiar with the concept as this is not my first rodeo (I've actually helped improve a very popular XP11 freeware plugin, plus the amount of free stuff available with XP11 is mind-boggling). However with no API, no modding friendly interfaces, the customer base makeup and life cycle of this product being where it's at you don't see much tool building here. We did have one user who build some nice tools but "Elvis has left the building" due to valid reasons in which I support. But, as I said, you can easily solution this yourself with an hour or two of work.
-
Or you could just do it yourself - as I did (I'd like to think I'm a "solid coder" but in this case no code is needed, just Excel). All the information you need is at your fingertips. You have your custom schedule (and associated text reference files) and you have all your liveries (they are listed in the Assets section of each manifest file that comes with RC). There's also the master list if you want to see if a livery is available in a RC pack you don't have. Keep in mind the game is 3+ years old, there has been talk of a next version since T3D was released, there's not that many custom schedulers, and there's not that many coders who are willing to give away intellectual property for free. All that adds up to "if you want something done, do it yourself". 😀 Have fun!

Good to hear - thanks Vic.

In reality they probably use runway 27 90% of the time give or take. I had a custom schedule for KSAN but I took it down for personal reasons. I’ll try to remember to send it to you when I get back to my PC in a couple of days.
-
In real life the incoming traffic for 9 at some point would be put in a holding pattern to allow for the departures on 27. Since we don't have Tracon control in this Tower game, this particular scenario is impossible unless you attempt to build a custom to handle it. Here's a post with some interesting notes on this scenario. https://forum.simflight.com/topic/82962-ksan-thrill-ride-tower-3d-pro/?do=findComment&comment=507045 Maybe the next version - graphics and zoom view functionality needs work. Plus those darn trees need to be changed to bushes at KSAN in order to see the whole runway. https://forum.simflight.com/topic/84116-remove-trees

Why did you post these files here and not update the thread you already created last week? Do you see any other schedule files in this thread? Pete's thread is not where you post your custom schedule. He has an external website where there is a list of custom schedules and the list is linked to YOUR THREAD advertising your custom schedule. Pete doesn't manage the custom schedule files, that's the job of the schedule maker.

If/when a new version is released, hopefully there will be modding capabilities and we'll be able to create our own paints - fictional or real (like we were able to do with Tower!2011). Actually, modding capabilities is a required feature in order for me to get the new version.
-
@Avwriter I posted a link to the same video in January.
-
Because the fictional liveries don't exist for the models that are introduced by Real Traffic. Out of the box, you get generic plane models with fictional liveries. Real Traffic adds real plane models and Real Color adds real liveries to those real plane models. Then why get Real Traffic or Real Color at all, If paint of "any kind" is all you want?

Here's a thread where that same question was asked.

You didn’t mention a new livery at all, so how is someone supposed to know what you are implying? But to be honest all your posts are always difficult to comprehend. Sentences with punctuation and capitalization would help immensely, especially to those where English might not be their first language. -

So is your idea to throw things against the wall and hope they stick? You might want to read @hexzed's initial post and actually follow the rules including doing some homework first. All the WestJet liveries you mention already exist in several RC packs. The goal of these projects since day one have been to add NEW liveries to RC ... not add existing liveries to an airport. -

Looks like Horizon Air (QXE) to me, which is still very much alive and flying. https://www.alaskaair.com/content/about-us/history/horizon-air-history https://flightaware.com/live/flight/QXE2269 https://flightaware.com/live/flight/QXE2111 (Plus the DH80 doesn't even fly to KSFO) Oh well, I'm sure @hexzed will do a good job filtering out appropriate requests for Gabor.
