  1. On the Jeppesen chart for Rwys 15, 33 Omnidirectional Departures it reads "climb on runway track to 4700', upon reaching resume own navigation as filed". Assuming this is what you are talking about, basically what I was going to suggest is what you've already done with the OD15 and OD33 SIDs you created. Now I think that leaves you with two options: (1) add another leg to the SID and choose an exit point somewhere to the west or (2) leave the SIDs asis and as a controller turn the planes west near the end point of the SID. Option 1 would have planes all fly the exact same routes when heading west and option 2 would be a little more dynamic (ie., you can choose a heading that might be more appropriate for the destination).
  2. I wasn't referring to the cost - that's not an issue at all. I just think the Concorde would help sell it. As a non-retro guy there is nothing in the original list (I'm not slamming the original list by any means) that makes me say "I gotta have this". The Concorde would at least make me think about it.
  3. Firstly, that's one heck of a desktop background you have there. Secondly, I definitely see your issue now. Fortunately, I do not have nor have I ever experienced that problem. Unfortunately for you, it is probably something specific to your system. Considering the age of Tracon, maybe your system is too good. Who knows, but an obvious troubleshooting step would be to adjust graphics settings to see if that changes anything. Thirdly, I got nuthin'. Just wanted to say thirdly. 😀 Again, good luck with this.
  4. Sorry, the video wasn't real clear to me as I haven't experienced your issue. Good luck with this.
  5. As does how much money he makes from this. 🤑
  6. You still have SHOW:TRUE and Waypoints checked, so that might be why things are still cluttered. Been too long since I've used this - can't really remember what impact "Don't hide" has or doesn't have.
  7. The statistics for landings and takeoffs has been an issue since day one. Here are some links for your reading pleasure: https://forum.simflight.com/topic/81441-played-for-a-few-hours-still-0-successful-takeoffslandings/ https://forum.simflight.com/topic/80168-departures-not-being-registered/ https://forum.simflight.com/topic/78949-tracon-2012-where-am-i-going-wrong/ https://forum.simflight.com/topic/76181-tracon-2012-timeline-on-next-update/ https://forum.simflight.com/topic/76285-tracon-2012-ny-sector-whats-new-what-has-been-fixed/
  8. As a former developer myself, I agree good interfaces are important. But, you also have to keep in mind that this isn’t just a game and it attempts to resemble and function like an actual scope. Also, you can tell by the title it is not a new release I wouldn’t be too upset with @DeltaVII. He is very helpful on this forum although I too was surprised by the “goes without saying” and uncommon attitude in this thread.
  9. Look close at LAX and PHL. May not be retro but definitely older versions. 😀
  10. Good for you, but for the record there is a multiplayer Discord server that was setup entirely for this game and people use it all the time. So, I don’t think dumping Discord is necessarily the cure all for multiplayer woes. But again, I’m glad things are working for you. Also, the fact that you are using Hamachi makes the port issue irrelevant.
  11. Thanks - that's what I assumed. Sorry, not buying that one. Clean across all RC packs is not the current modus operandi, but it's definitely the easy way out in this case.
  12. You mention reinstalling, but did you re-download RT to get the latest version (sp6v18)?
  13. Gotcha - thanks.
  14. You knew this was coming didn't you? 😂 With KDFW being my home airport, having worked and volunteered there, you knew I had to lovingly 😍 scrutinize RT/KDFW to make sure it met the standards of realism. Overall, I'd say good job but I would like to make some suggestions to @nyergesdesign for some improvements as I do feel an SP will be needed. Terminal Assignments AIJ - Interjet is an international carrier and needs to be reassigned to Terminal D. At KDFW, all international flights (excluding Canada) arrive at Terminal D (and gates B1-B3) in order to go through customs. AMF - Ameriflight is a cargo part 135 airline and should be moved out of terminal D (they have no commercial passengers) to a cargo area on the west side (their headquarters are actually located there) ANT - Not in schedule and needs to be removed from the terminal file BTQ - Boutique Air flies out of the Corporate Aviation Terminal (GA?) and not terminal E Real Color Skywest actually flies as an AAL regional carrier at KDFW. It looks like Skywest is included in the RC for KDFW but I assume is it the same generic livery? @Pedantic G? Schedule (this is where the SP is definitely needed) In looking at the flight volume (which is very low, especially when compared to @battlehawk77's schedules) I found a major discrepancy between the number of arrivals and departures. In doing a deeper dive, I noticed two major gaps where there were no departures and only arrivals. This would point to a data problem versus the airport being shut down. The gaps are between 10:53 - 12:15 and 12:49-13:51. This is well over 2 hours of no departures during relatively busy time periods. As a result, I would suggest an SP to fix this gap in departures in order to provide a fully playable schedule. Again, an improvement by the ND team (no duplicates this time) but I would say further research and quality control is needed. Thanks!
  15. Can you change the order in which they are displayed?
  16. Actually, @battlehawk77 is slipping! Last airport he had his schedule out before the airport release announcement. 🙂
  17. Good point by @Pedantic G, the runway is still usable @CL30 - you'll just have to type it in manually. I think it would have been better to leave 13L off the command panel because the only time it would be used is during the rare occurrence of extreme crosswind operations where the 17s and 18s are "closed". During normal operations, 13L is never used. In contrast, 13R is used quite often for landings in south flow along with 17C, 17L, and 18R. Maybe they can tweak this if an SP is needed.
  18. Kev, don’t take the international phrase too literally - as a matter of fact you should ignore it. Again, it basically just indicates a dropped departure because no gate/terminal is available. We covered this topic in a similar thread you started a few months ago. https://forum.simflight.com/topic/87510-no-international-terminal-found/
  19. Yes, just look at my log file after a session. 😂 Actually, I’m not aware of a list. There’s nothing in the user manual or annotated manual to my knowledge.
  20. There are two -50 "wait" penalties that I'm aware of: 1) After 15 minutes (and subsequent 15 minute intervals), you will receive a wait penalty if you haven't issue a pushback command to an aircraft that has requested push and start. Once you issue a pushback command, there will no longer be a wait penalty even if you never tell them to taxi. 2) After 15 minutes (and subsequent 15 minute intervals), you will receive a penalty for not issuing a taxi command to a plane that has landed. Once a taxi command has been issued, there will no longer be a wait penalty even if you have them hold position and they never reach the gate.
  21. @ATC AlaskaGuy You can rest assured you'll get to create your own Alaska Airlines liveries. 😀 FeelThere told us two months ago that modding was a priority.
  22. There are other rules that impact arrivals like you can’t have two arrivals at the same time (regardless of the number of runways) and the game enforces 5 mile separation regardless of plane type so that impacts how close together your arrival times can be. But as Braf alluded to above gate availability is the big factor affecting arrivals especially at an airport like TIST. If there is no free gate for the plane it just won’t show up. Also, as Braf mentioned the game loads 8 hours of flights so this can adversely effect how closely a schedule is followed. One to two hour schedule snippets are recommended.
  23. Historically, the schedules in Real Traffic have never been updated (except to fix bugs). You'll want to take advantage of custom schedules to enjoy some seasonality and variety in the schedules.
  24. I have the Logitech G430 - has nice padding around the ears and top of the head. The microphone is adjustable and somewhat bendable. For multiplayer sessions I would have the game sounds come out of my TV speakers and use the headset to hear my controller partner via Discord. Using the game PTT and a Discord keybind, the mic was used for both the game and partner communication. I never had anyone complain regarding the mic volume so I assume it’s good. We won’t go into the complaints about my controlling skills though. 😂 The beauty of the PTT/Discord keybind setup is that it wouldn’t distract my partner when the PTT key was pressed and I was issuing commands. Only when the PTT was released would my partner be able to hear me. The headset also has a mute button that I could use if I needed to sneeze, say “yes dear” to my wife, or the more common use - cuss! 🤣 So, all in all, I’ve been happy with the G430.
  25. In continuing the theme of already answering questions, yesterday I posted the following: "Based on the xxxx_aiplanes.txt file there are two 737-800s in the game - 73H and 738. However for the model and livery, both get translated to B738. So, from a T!3D perspective they are the same plane". @ATC AlaskaGuy here's picture of a B738 (AAL) and 73H (ASA) back-to-back for further evidence that they are the same. I hope you'll forgive me for using the old ASA livery. 😂 Wow that was difficult, it may be time for a break from the forum. 😉
