  1. Since we have the spotlight shining on you, how about one more question. 🙂 Did you start with an existing schedule or did you create the base schedule yourself?
  2. By design, the game always starts with a departure and it looks for one approximately 15 minutes prior to your session start time or later.
  3. Lack of gate availability is a game engine issue that impacts ALL airports. And, of course, FeelThere is no longer updating the game engine. The link below describes what is most likely the issue. The root cause is using a full schedule, the developer''s decision to load 8 hours of flights, and how that process was implemented.
  4. All the details on how to use the Plane Editor are in the manual for Tower!2011.
  5. Not sure exactly what you are trying to do. You may want to post a link to the exact post you are referring to. You should should listen to LiveATC and/or watch the LAX webcam. Tower is pretty much having the pilot contact SoCal Departure by the end of the runway. Probably closer to 500-1000ft. Also, not to nitpick but a 251° departure to 3000ft has simplified the actual departure procedure. There is a slight turn required at 640ft. In reality, I believe DOCKR is closer to a direct 249° heading from the end of 25R. Again, not sure exactly what you are trying to do as this game doesn't necessarily fly a SID after the departure handoff.
  6. And the fact that a week's worth of quality KJFK schedules already exists shouldn't be overlooked either.
  7. Sorry i guess I misinterpreted the word when in "any update on when eddm update would be available". My bad! 😂
  8. When is a four letter word on this forum. The developers don't publish release dates.
  9. Tower!2011 has a plane editor that allows you to create or modify any plane you want.
  10. No, his calculations are correct. The game has multiple issues that cause less than the scheduled traffic to appear. If you search the forum I’m sure you’ll run across the issues I speak of. No matter a schedule maker’s best efforts, the game has traffic volume limitations. Whether a schedule maker produces quality or quantity of schedules it makes no difference.
  11. Actually the credit should go to @onehand who built the charts - @pete_agreatguy is just a link sharer in this case. Below is the actual thread where one can see the genesis of the charts.
  12. Or looking at the XXXX_airport.txt files that are included in Real Traffic ... although they are not 100% accurate, they do ultimately determine where planes go.
  13. Actually you don't always need to buy the Real Color (RC) for the airport. Once you buy a RC pack the liveries in that pack will show up at all other airports where the airlines/models are in the schedule. I always recommend trying out the airport first and if there are too many white planes for your taste, then go get the RC.
  14. Even though you are wanting to build a custom schedule, you need to purchase Real Traffic (RT). Without it, you can't use any of the realistic airplane models and not having it is the reason for the loading issue. RT will also give you a good starting base of airlines, airports, and available airplanes. It looks like you are using Dick Parker's schedule creator which was built for Tower!2011. It uses really old data with obsolete airlines but if you're OK with that to each their own. Personally, I'd recommend using one of the custom schedules built specifically for Tower!3D Pro - https://charityalbumman.blogspot.com/2018/08/tower-3d-inc-pro-custom-schedules-list.html
  15. Ok - that's the difference. Blank terminal entries. The game may randomly assign if the terminal is blank. However, if there are no blank entries the flights won’t spawn for an airline not in the terminal file. I just know at KLAS the original terminal file had a bunch of missing airlines and the traffic volume was abysmal.
  16. @EliGrim @DeltaVII "the game assigns aircraft automatically to terminals" is incorrect. It does not do that at all. If an airline does not exist in the terminal file flights for that airline will not spawn. And to reiterate - the correct filename has an underscore - it is eddm_terminal.txt. Either @Michi10 has created a file with the wrong filename or the file he is editing is not in the location T3D is expecting. Bottom line the game IS reading a terminal file with entries in 1B and 1C. @Michi10 please provide a log file, this will help solve the problem.
  17. The game doesn't recognize "eddm_terminal.xml". The file name must be "eddm_terminal.txt".
  18. Yes, you would think so. But, fixes for Pro are no longer. That's why I am waiting for the next version (if it passes muster) while others can't wait for the "one release per month".
  19. @blacklabelbraai @FeelThere Ariel - speaking of "features" ... Controlled hours has never worked with the Tower!3D series (this issue might be specific to the non-Steam version). The issue was brought up as early as February 2017 - shortly after the release of Pro but was never fixed. https://forum.simflight.com/topic/82918-pro-controlled-hours https://forum.simflight.com/topic/84080-controlled-hours-in-tower-3d-pro-and-stop-and-go
  20. Excessive penalty points at KPHL Is a known and recurring “feature “.
  21. I am strongly against having a rating system. @Rob25's point regarding favoritism and a popularity contest are valid. And, I personally don't see the value of such a system. Pete, having a centralized list is/was a solid contribution - let's stop there.
  22. This all has been cussed and discussed before in the linked thread. I think Vic understands our pain ... but, of course this all dependent on the next version. ⏲️ 🤔 https://forum.simflight.com/topic/86541-newer-flight-number-style
  23. Hopefully an issue fixed in the next version ... RT is a mess right now.
  24. Maybe this is a dumb question, but why even provide a full schedule if it shouldn't be loaded?
  25. It's not always easy to differentiate an airport specific bug with a game engine bug. As we both know, there are notable game engine bugs that impact all airports - including EDDM. Bottom line: if/when an SP for EDDM is released there will still be issues with EDDM.
