  1. bcooley66, Here is a list of the MD's with their livery and which Real Color Airport they are included with, to the best of my knowledge. For KLAX Real Color, you will get a MD11 for Federal Express and a MD80 for Allegiant Air. RickyJ
  2. :) Typo or Freudian slip? You be the judge. RickyJ
  3. If I am not mistaken, Tower!3DX is based on the Unity game engine. https://www.slant.co/topics/1495/~3d-game-engines RickyJ
  4. Yes, I agree. Hey FeelThere, can you make the next version without the 3D view and Nyerges can stop making the color planes? You can call it Tower!NoView. This seems to be getting popular. A couple people want to just see data tags. . RickyJ
  5. Sounds like you need to stick with Tower!2011!!!!!!!!! And makes those reference cards of the tail art, for which this thread was started by you, OBSOLETE!
  6. This would be great if you don't mind controlling a bunch of "White" planes since there is not a vehicle for custom liveries. RickyJ
  7. Hey Craig, Did you verify the date of the satellite picture? Maybe it was dated from 1990 and those little shrubs have grown into huge trees. :) Lovingly yours, RickyJ
  8. I'm confused, when I look at the 24 runways at KLAX they are on the right, but when I look at the 25 runways at KLAX they are on the left, then when I look at the 7 runways at KLAX they are on the right but they are on the left on the ADIRS, just like KSAN. And if you search the forum you will find that the wind direction has already been debated to death. RickyJ
  9. No comment. Personally, like John Candy, I have learned to go with the flow. RickyJ
  10. Craig is the one that did the screen capture. Looks like he ran a scenario with both an Ethiopian 788 and an Etihad 77L and they both had the Etihad colors. The texpack file indicates that there should be two Ethiopian paints, a B788 and B77L and three Etihad paints, a B77L, B77W and A388. I have not verified that this is in fact true. There seems to be some discrepancies between what is in the manifest file and what is exactly in the binary file. RickyJ
  11. FeelThere\Tower!3D Pro\Extensions\Airplanes\Texturepacks is the directory structure. Each airline has an ICAO code (three letters/numbers) and IATA code (two letters/numbers) DUB being the ICAO code and ET being the IATA code. So the graphic being used in Real Color would be B788_et.jpg, which is embedded in the airplanes_texpack3 file, which is a binary file. RickyJ
  12. But do you know the airline code that was used for your screen capture, because I found both Ethiopean and Etihad: B788_et.jpg B77L_et.jpg B77L_ey.jpg B77W_ey.jpg A388_ey.jpg In the KLAX texture pack. RickyJ Nevermind, I got my magnifying glass out and saw one was Ethiopean and the other Etihad, or was one Etihad and the other Ethiopean. At any rate they are both different airlines with the same colors. Sorry, you know us old people can not see very well. RickyJ
  13. Both versions will have them since there is only one version of Real Color and Real Traffic. RickyJ
  14. B737_ua.jpg CNT._9k.jpg B738_aa.jpg B738_sy.jpg A319_nk.jpg B752_aa.jpg B752_ua.jpg DH8C_li.jpg SF34_bb.jpg CNA._9k.jpg B752_dl.jpg E190_b6.jpg A320_b6.jpg A319_aa.jpg The Airplane and Airline Real Colors for TIST. RickyJ
  15. And don't forget that you have to have a matching airplane model and airline to get the correct colors. Hint: Take a look at the airplanes_texpack?.manifest file. The plane liveries are created by their IATA code. So even though the ICAO code (DUB) is for Dubai, the IATA code (ET) is for Ethiopian Airlines, so the colors will be Ethiopian Airlines. Then you have to have the correct model match. RickyJ
  16. I'm always forgetting about the terminal file, especially since it is always overwritten with the service pack. Thanks Jim, I added the new terminal file and now all five planes show up. Joe, Hope you have the same luck. RickyJ
  17. You could try exiting the game and starting again with just the five planes. I have the FeelThere version but I know it does work for the Steam version because other people have used Dick Parker's schedule creator successfully. RickyJ
  18. Dropped your file in but only three of the five planes showed. I did not try spacing out the times of the departures to try and get all five to show. I do not know if you have typos, but you say you created a "lax_schedule", it must be named klax_schedule.txt and you put it in the LAX folder, it must be in the KLAX folder. In addition you have to remove any other files that contain a hint of a schedule. You cannot rename klax_schedule.txt to klax_schedule.org and leave it in the KLAX directory. I believe the game parses the directory for schedule type files. I always create a directory in my Documents folder and keep the original files here and any test files. RickyJ
  19. The plane you saw is in the FeelThere built in generic schedule: TIST, TIST, 10:10, TRP, N320FT, 3, 0, 0, 320FT, THREE TWO ZERO FOX TANGO It is not part of the Nyerges Design schedule which is the example above. You would have to get Real Traffic to get the full schedule or search for the schedules that Henrik Norgaard has created for the default airports. If you run TIST starting at 10:00 this plane should always show up, but only for people using the supplied schedule from FeelThere. RickyJ
  20. One other thing, in the tist_gaandlocaltraffic.txt file or any gaandlocaltraffic.txt file change one or all three zeroes to a number 1 to 9 if you dare to indicate how many stop and go's, touch and go's or low approaches you want, such as 9, 9, 9 for 27 trips around the airport. I never tried this myself but I do believe it will do the nine stop and go's first then the nine touch and go's and so on. // airport_from, airport_to, time, planetype, linecode, stop n go, touch n go, low approach, TIST, TIST, 10:00, CNF, 1N4634, 0, 0, 0, Nero 4634, NERO FOUR SIX THREE FOUR RickyJ
  21. Peabody, 1. The "Controlled Hours" has never worked for either Tower!3D or Tower!3DPro when purchased from FeelThere. The information is present and accumulates in your "Registry" but is not recognized through the interface. However, I do believe it does work when the games are purchased through Steam. 2. It has been awhile since I have done local traffic, but if I remember correctly this means that the plane wants to do three stop and go's. After the plane takes off, do not send it to departure, after a while it will circle back parallel to the runway. Then it will, at 10 or 15 nm line up with the runway at which time instead you can give it the command "#airplane1; RUNWAY ;#runway1; CLEARED FOR STOP AND GO" Or after the plane takes off you can issue the command "#airplane1; RUNWAY ;#runway1; CLEARED FOR STOP AND GO" and will circle around and land. Do this two more times and after the third stop and go (your departure strip will count down from 3x to 2x to 1x) when it circles around and lines up for approach you can tell it "#airplane1; RUNWAY ;#runway1; CLEARED TO LAND" When it lands, tell the pilot "#airplane1; TAXI TO RAMP" Of course during these maneuvers you can try the other commands designed for local traffic. Keep in mind that there are no pulldowns for these commands and you either have to speak them or type them into the "Command" window. Hope I have everything correct, Happy Flying, RickyJ
  22. Probably $19.99US for the airport and $6.99US for Real Color :) Thanks Vic and Andrew, RickyJ P.S. Nice change to the forum by adding the initial of the name. Looks a lot nicer than the "shadow headshot".
  23. If your message is not a typo, then you are missing a "!" and a space. The correct path is: C:\Program Files (x86)\FeelThere\Tower!3D Pro A exclamation mark after Tower and a space before Pro. RickyJ
  24. Okay, I am all done with KLAS, starting to get bored again, when is the next airport due????? :) RickyJ
  25. So now that you installed SP5 for Real Traffic for Tower!3DPro everything is working correctly? RickyJ
