  1. Hi, you should really update to latest FSUIPC4.971. There will not be support for any older versions because of so many changes over time, they effect also build-in Lua. Thomas
  2. Hi, there is no need to do so. Second you are registered with the old email address at simmarket, they might not change that. Thomas
  3. Hi, some of your add-on's might use FSUIPC. Did you run only P3D with FSUIPC and NO other add-on running? Thomas
  4. Yes .... In German we call Widows since Vista 'Windoof', where 'doof' means dumb / thick / stupid / gormless ... Thomas
  5. Hi, when you did run the FSUIPC installer it created a FSUIPC4 Install.log (its a text file) in ..\Modules\ folder and as well in that folder where you did run the installer from. When you open that file with i.e. Notepad you will find in there the information where FSUIPC was installed, it looks like this and you can search for 'INSTALLATION FOR' to find that part Thomas
  6. Hi, as FSUIPC5.113 doesn't come with an installer you just in-Zip the FSUIPC5.dll into your ..\P3Dv4\Modules\ folder and click Overwrite when asked. The PDF document you normally place into ..\P3Dv4\Modules\FSUIPC Documents\ folder Thomas
  7. Hi, you will have to look into the PC's with Win10. Microsoft likes it to destroy any settings, mostly security, so that the network no longer works as it was setup before (if at all). Make sure firewall is off or at least allows the Win7 PC through (WideClient). Thomas
  8. Hi, FSUIPC4.9 or latest FSUIPC4.971, what you should use in any case ? Thomas
  9. Hi, I did run that Lua file and got as well the error. So I went through the file and removed all spaces (or what ever symbol was actually behind it) and replaced it with tabs and spaces (32). Now it loads without any error, just try if the file works for you as well. Luacmds.lua Thomas
  10. Hi, it might be better to attach the file rather than copy its content to find the error, as it says the error is in line 1 near quotes but the copied lines don't contain any quotes. Thomas
  11. Hi, you should also update to latest version, Install_FSUIPC5112.zip Thomas
  12. Hi, did you install with Administrator privileges, mouse right-click ? Thomas
  13. Hi, please make sure you use latest Install_FSUIPC3999z9b.zip , any earlier version doesn't work correct. Thomas
  14. Hi, you should update to latest P3Dv3. You need to sort out your FSUIPC4.ini file where you have two [Buttons] sections!? Also did you try without running SIOC ? Thomas
  15. Hi, I'm working full time, so I can only check before work, 0600 to 0640, and after work 1820 to 2300 ... I'm not really deep into Lua but in a different thread I found this: Thomas
  16. Hi, there are not much information you give other than using P3Dv4 and FSUIPC. Minimum needed information is always the versions are used, FS & FSUIPC. In case you have a problem with setting up axes you need to make sure Controls are switched OFF in FS to make sure there are not double assigned axes. Please send your FSUIPC5.ini file and FSUIPC5.log file (after a short session), best as zip file. Thomas
  17. Hi, yes you can but you have to do this manually in the FSUIPC INI file. Assign one action and then add more actions to the same saved button. Thomas
  18. Hi, The vale as 'corrected' comes from P3D's SDK, before also from FSX's SDK, and is not father described. FSUIPC delivers those values to be complete. By checking those corrected values you will find that they are corrected against temp and pressure. Check the Lua examples in ..\FSUIPC Documents\ folder, the example MyDisplay.lua you can easily modify to your needs. It calls the display function every 1000ms (1sec). Thomas
  19. Hi, using a tutorial from someone about FSUIPC and PMDG might not be very helpful for FSUIPC5 and PMDG. As described in this topic, just above your message, you should use instead controls and not macros. Thomas
  20. Hi, of course. Check the examples for display and read Offsets in FSUIPC Documents sub folder. The values in the Offsets for those you are interested in are max 16383, so 100/16383*value will give you percentage. Thomas
  21. Hi, that's not possible because you only need to delete the files or complete folder as nothing of FSUIPC is in the registry and that's why no uninstaller is provided. Did you install with 'Administrator rights', right click? You should. Thomas
  22. Hi, just by looking to your definition (-) * (-) = (+), -0.5 * -8192 = +4096 0.5 * 8192 = +4096 0.5 * -8192 = -4096 Thomas
  23. Hi, first thing to check is that Controls are switched OFF in Prepar3Dv4, so there is no double definition. Thomas
  24. Hi, FSUIPC5 for Prepar3Dv4 (64Bit) is a new product, new developed against 64Bit. Any earlier version of FSUIPC is not subject to an upgrade to FSUIPC5. For those they already have a key for WideFS7 for FSUIPC4, they don't need to buy a new key to use WideFS7 with FSUIPC5. The registration will work with FSUIPC5. I don't know who did that calculation but the only thing needed is FSUIPC5 from SimMarket, 29.52 Euro (offer ends on 3rd Sept 2017). The Prepar3D version, i.e. Academic (same as Pro but has a tiny water mark top right), cost 59.95$ US. As explained above if you already have a Key for WideFS, if you need it, then there is no need to buy it again. So to upgrade to Prepar3Dv4 is from FSUIPC side 29.52 Euro. Thomas
  25. Hi, as your log file shows you actually don't run latest version 3.999z9b (********* FSUIPC, Version 3.999z8 by Pete Dowson *********) but that is needed as you purchased after JAN 2016. So please download and install latest version from download sub-forum above or with this link Install_FSUIPC3999z9b.zip Thomas
