@james143611 Yes, you can add airports. The most important part is the format - if the format is wrong, the game won’t load. In reality, the lat/lon is really not that important because if may or may not even be used. At most it is used determine the direction a plane might turn after departure. Although it appears to be in a degree decimal minute format, for everything I’ve looked up the existing values appear to represent degree and degree minutes. Logically that makes no sense, but I've given up trying to understand Nyerges Design. Nevertheless, it’s not that big of a deal because a precise number is inconsequential.

EGKK - London Gatwick Real Traffic Custom Schedule - Winter 2019
crbascott replied to battlehawk77's topic in ATC Simulators
@james143611 A custom schedule has nothing to do with what runways a plane can or cannot takeoff from. Departure length for airplanes is controlled by the game engine and Real Traffic. You can check to see if you have the current version of RT and/or EGKK by verifying against the current versions sheet. -
OMDB has been out for well over a year and we know the game engine isn't changing. Where does one expect this thread to go?
-
If “for me” means they are already in your terminal file, then you are using a modded file (possibly from another custom schedule).
-
Regarding the terminal file, I didn't check the entire file but I quickly found two that caught my eye - MRA and FDY, since they didn't fly tubeliners..
-
Actually for hour 11 I’m seeing 40 arrivals and 8 departures. Sure seems like it is out of balance - definitely not the norm for DFW. @thepropilot747 I’d also suggest supplying your own (accurate) terminal file as your schedule has airlines that are not in the RT file. Not doing so will lead to dropped flights.

Based on the log file I would say yes. Looking at the log file, it stops before the message {"success":true,"data":[]} is written. Not sure what triggers that message but that's where the point of failure is.

I read where Game should be the default playback device and Chat the default recording device. If you could can make that adjustment, at a minimum it should help the amp sound better if not fix your issue. If the above doesn’t work, will your mic still work if you uninstall/disable the sound card? I suspect it is the culprit.
-
@Xnjy From what I'm reading (assuming what I read is what you have), when you install this amp it creates two sound devices in Windows: 1. HyperX Amp Game 2. HyperX Amp Chat. Under Control Panel > Sound what is displayed as your default Playback device and what is your default Recording device?
-
Well, you’re probably at the point now where you need to provide some clues (specs) like OS version, OS language, speech language (noticed some non-English early in the speech log), PC brand, headset/microphone type, etc.
-
@Xnjy Your output log indicates the speech engine is started. However there is an error in your speech log that points to an issue. The error is "re Error: Internal error occurred in the recognition process." Unfortunately, I think this is a fairly generic error message. However, in doing a little searching this error seems to point to a conflict between a sound card and/or associated apps/tools (example: Vocal Dispatch) and the speech engine. Obviously, removing/disabling the conflict solves the issue.

Log file from the game - ...\FeelThere\Tower!3D Pro\tower3d_Data\output_log.txt There is also a log file from the speech engine - ...\FeelThere\Tower!3D Pro\speech.log
-
Have you posted a log file yet? It may or may not help find the problem.

Why buy from here when you can get things on sale at feelthere.com?
-
Not sure what you are asking. What do mean custom times?
-
@EliGrims' Schedule Builder Tool can create a schedule for you using Retro airlines/liveries. Also, you should have gotten RT version sp6v27 if you purchased just a week ago.

Hey controllers, I was doing some flying around with my flight sim and noticed KSFO was running unusual operations on Christmas day. The weather was rather yucky (wind/rain) and KSFO was operating under their Southeast Plan (click here for more information) which they use less than 5% of the time. As a result, I decided to dust off my schedule making software and quickly put together a custom schedule that covers the duration of the unusual operations. Unfortunately, the volumes are low due to the pandemic and also because under these conditions the airport has limited bandwidth capabilities. But the purpose of the schedule is to use/enjoy seldom used operations instead of head banging volume intensity. The chart below illustrates the hour-by-hour arrivals and departures included in the schedule. When using this schedule, I'd recommend employing the following realistic operations to enhance the experience. Arrival Runways - 19L (due to rain and low clouds this runway was used for 95% of landings since 19R does not have an ILS), 19R (only used for a few landings) Departure Runways - 10R @ S, 10L @ S4 Attached to this post you'll find a zip file called ksfo_crbascott.zip that contains: Custom schedule file (8am to midnight) - ksfo_schedule.txt Custom GA schedule file - ksfo_gaandlocaltraffic.txt Updated terminal file - ksfo_terminal.txt Updated airports file - ksfo_airports.txt Folders containing snippet schedule files for the hours 08 thru 22. I'd recommend unzipping this file in your KSFO folder. It will create a crbascott folder with the pre-mentioned contents. You can then copy and paste the files needed into the KSFO folder. As always, please remember to backup your original up-to-date Real Traffic files. ENJOY!! Craig (crbascott) ksfo_crbascott.zip

That's the deal - I don't see it in the log file. Your log file ends with: BUILD VERSION: v1.2.78.946 SP3.3c GfxDevice: creating device client; threaded=1 You should see something like this if it loads successfully. BUILD VERSION: v1.2.78.946 SP3.3c GfxDevice: creating device client; threaded=1 start speech! Record error state: False SPEAK: Start speak plugin. So, based on that, the speech engine could be the point of failure.
-
Based on the log file it looks like it is failing to start the speech engine ("start speech!" should be the next record in the log file, but it didn't make it that far).
-
@Xnjy Also, make sure to run the game as administrator.

How do you manage Touch & Gos, Low Approaches, etc.?
crbascott replied to MTShipp's topic in ATC Simulators
Are you pre-defining these flights in the GA schedule file (xxxx_gaandlocaltraffic.txt)? The post below describes the format. -
Bug.

This whole thread has me concerned about future purchases through feelthere.com. Especially where the need for re-downloads and re-installs come into play. How will this work with FastSpring?
-
BMTMicro still appears to be in the picture as atcsuite.com is still using them - although I always recommend buying elsewhere since that site never has the sales that feelthere.com has.
-
@scoobflight Looks like FeelThere has updated their website and is now using FastSpring. Looks like some new contact information might be in order.
