  1. Is this "set distance" static or dynamic depending on the taxiway/runway? Also, when you say "approaching the runway" are talking departures only? I'm having a hard time applying "your logic" to the LAX screenshot in my link. If you're mainly talking the ends of the runways, I don't see where this would be a big issue at all. And it wouldn't even be an issue if the game featured realistic exiting. But, we know that is something that can be addressed by the next version.
  2. I'm relatively sure this version can't handle two hold lines for a taxiway. So, all this talk about what is correct/incorrect is probably moot. Additionally, getting the developers to place hold lines exactly where they are supposed to be has been an issue since day 1 (beginning with LAX - https://forum.simflight.com/topic/83114-tower3d-pro-lax-24l-24r-taxiway-z-hold-points/ and I have plenty of other examples from by beta testing days).
  3. Four people, well maybe seven now, in this thread. 🤣
  4. As @DeltaVII mentioned, FT did it for KJFK. And, you wouldn't be able to take off from KSAN if the displaced threshold were not implemented correctly. There's a reason for the displaced threshold and as such it should be implemented correctly - it definitely can be done. It would be sad if this iconic much anticipated airport became just another one riddled with workarounds.
  5. New airport, but same game engine. 🤷‍♂️
  6. Actually, legitimate hours of operation are irrelevant. It all depends on what is included in the schedule. Battlehawk may not have done anything wrong. It could be that you are not using his airplanes file or the one you are using is missing an entry or two. Post your log in the thread of his custom schedule and we’ll figure it out.
  7. @Braf123456 You should remove that image because that link is specifically yours - it shouldn’t be shared because now anyone can download the installer without purchasing the product.
  8. Things you can count on in life: death, taxes, and posts saying RC/RT is not working after a new airport release. 🤔
  9. Not necessarily, but if you would prefer to not have white planes then yes. However, there used to be a Real Color pack that includes KLAX, KPHL, and TIST. I'm not a fan of the Real Traffic / Real Color product concept. I definitely don't think you get bang for the buck.
  10. If you want liveries on your planes ... yes, you need to get Real Color for one or more airports.
  11. Out of the box, you have color for the default airlines. However, if you add Real Traffic in order to get color for the real airlines you must also buy one or more Real Color packs. Going "pro" require s a whole new purchase of the Pro game engine. There is no discount for existing non-pro users. In the future if you choose to continue purchasing products for this game, i'd recommend feelthere.com. Atcsuite.com never has sales and the pricing is at a premium.
  12. You should take up a collection and buy EGLL for EliGrim.
  13. This didn't keep KBOS and KDFW (possibly others) from being released. But as you mentioned the large size of some airports probably make them poor candidates for this game engine. Realistic taxiing from east to west and vice versa at KDFW is already very problematic and can only imagine the issues that KORD would bring to the table. Hopefully, the new engine will showcase some major internal improvements and some in-demand airports (like KORD and EHAM) too. An exception would probably require game engine modifications, and we all know that is not going to happen. FYI - The post below is what FeelThere said publicly about KORD's status.
  14. @QantasFan-QF476 Although the 74Y is a valid plane model now, it didn't exist in RT when YMML was released and is not included in ymml_airplanes.txt. Theoretically, since KIAD was the last airport released it should have the most up to date airplanes file (and contain the 74Y). As a result, the easiest thing to do is copy kiad_airlines.txt over to your YMML folder. Rename your ymml_airplanes.txt to something like ymml_airplanes_original.txt and then rename kiad_airplanes.txt to ymml_airplanes.txt.
  15. I believe you said the exact opposite of what you meant to say. 😀
  16. It's actually not weird at all - at least for T!3DP and some other programs processing comma-delimited files. One missing or out of place comma can throw everything out of whack.
  17. Very slow from the US - like a plane exiting the runway in T!3DP. 🤣 Prompted to login when accessing each page on the site and and also experiencing less graphics. I find the Amsterdam Sector for Tracon!2012 as the #2 bestseller and a few of the other best sellers to be very surprising to say the least.
  18. Punctuation would help clarify if you are making a statement or asking a question. 🙄
  19. You have it because you have all the RC packs. However, "we" may or may not have it. That's ASSuming one has KDFW, RJTT, or EDDF.
  20. Gary is "just" the keeper of the list - which is compiled from the planes and liveries available in Real Traffic and the Real Color packs. If you want specific planes/liveries added to RT/RC you'll need to direct the requests to NyergesDesign. If/when updates are released by ND, Gary will update the list accordingly. And to set expectations - "quick patch updates" as you call them are not a commonality.
  21. @Dalsgaard83 The format looks ok. What is your starting time? Can you post a log file?
  22. @BullRot He's using a modded version of the game engine. You'll need to reach out to the YouTuber or the modder to possibly get your hands on this version.
  23. #1 - This forum is not a 24/7 activity for everyone ... even @pete_agreatguy - please have patience. #2 - You saying "he hasn’t responded to my message yet" is unnecessary. #3 - Your description of the "problem" is totally incorrect. The only problem is that the links to your custom schedules are switched. It doesn't affect the download at all. #4 - You need to remember, Pete is a great guy. He'll get to it.
  24. Looks to me you'd have to click on every flight in order to get the plane type. "A pain in the wotsit" is an understatement, unless they offer a mass download behind the scenes.
