  1. The Real Traffic issue is the schedule.txt file is missing. This was reported a while back with no apparent fix having been implemented.
  2. The devs announced in March/April that there would be no further development on the base game and airports. Enhanced weather options will be on the wishlist for the next version.
  3. In your setup, the FeelThere folder won't be used. Currently it appears you have RT partially installed. Your Airplanes folder appears to be in good shape. Your Databases folder needs updating (possibly with the contents of the FeelThere folder).
  4. @BFunfer, you shouldn't be posting any of these files. Your Airplanes folder contains all the real traffic airplanes. Doesn't look like your uninstall totally worked. Your Databases folder looks like the initial install. What is in the FeelThere folder? To be honest you may want to go back and focus on the crash issue and what is running when you launch Tracon. All this installing/uninstalling is not helping at all.
  5. In the screenshots provided earlier the folders indicated there was no Real Traffic. Is the uninstall/reinstall really necessary? Again? A new screenshot of the databases folder will help indicate if Real Traffic installed correctly.
  6. No
  7. Ariel provided the common install location. The actual location of an airport's Real Traffic files would be the root location above plus ...\Extensions\XXXX - where XXXX is the ICAO airport code.
  8. Brian, just to make sure your expectations are clear. FeelThere can correct me if I'm wrong but a fix won't come in the form of a software update. Any sort of fix will have to be a change on your side. You've got something unique in your setup that is causing the problem and you're the only one who can totally debug the issue. In issues similar to yours I commonly see people posting follow-ups that they found the problem and it was a driver, piece of hardware, software, etc. causing the conflict. In another thread you posted a screenshot of your event log indicating a 0xc0000005 exception. Personally, I would look into this error code for possible solutions.
  9. Your airport should be the same version and real traffic files need to be the same.
  10. Not true, T3D does automatically create a log file - output_log.txt. And it contains the same thing as game.log which is only created when executing the .bat file. Never quite understood why the duplication. @Fred_Mertz, although T!11 is still on my hard drive I never access it anymore. But when I did, I do not recall any major performance issues. If there is not anything on the forum about your issues, I don't think you'll find people with similar issues since this game is now 7+ years old and more than likely not actively played despite the recent low sale prices.
  11. Bumping to put the poll back on the first page.
  12. If you haven't tried it yet, you may want to turn off "Depth of field" in the Advanced Graphics settings.
  13. No need to wonder - it's pretty simple. If a new airport is released that has one of these airplane types in the schedule, then Nyerges Design will add these planes to Real Traffic.
  14. If you promise to release Tower!3D 10 before I become a six foot under GROUND controller, you've got my support. 👴
  15. From the sim perspective if you want to play more realistically, you should definitely factor destination into departure runway selection versus just parking location. Here's something from LAX's website that shows typical flow. https://www.lawa.org/en/lawa-environment/lax/aircraft-traffic-flow-at-lax In real life it is way more complicated than just destination and parking. But, I'm nowhere near the expert to speak about airport and system wide air traffic management. * -- * Comment removed as inappropriate for the forum. EVERYONE please be aware thay your post's tone MUST be polite and helpful. Can't keep it civil then DON'T post. Thanks from the mods. --
  16. The keyword here is game. It's pretty obvious simulation players have a different opinion of things than game players.
  17. It's because out of the box the voice syntax you are using is invalid. Check out the departure section in the user manual - https://www.atcsuite.com/tower-promanual. CALLSIGN, PUSHBACK APPROVED, EXPECT RUNWAY XX CALLSIGN, RUNWAY XX CALLSIGN, RUNWAY XX TAXI VIA TAXIWAY X ( Z, Y) (multiple taxiways can be assigned to generate a complex routing) CALLSIGN, RUNWAY XX AT TAXIWAY X (if you assign an intersection instead of a runway ending for takeoff) CALLSIGN, RUNWAY XX AT TAXIWAY X VIA TAXIWAY X (multiple taxiways can be assigned to generate a complex routing) To get the voice commands to work like you want you'll need to modify the tower.rec file. If you search the forum there should be posts on how to do so.
  18. I definitely agree on the single version. It's actually possible that conclusion was a hopeful ulterior motive of this poll. 🤔 Regarding a Mac version, I've seen a handful of posts requesting it. Not sure how that equates to sales though. However, in most articles I've read the Mac is not a great gaming platform and Pete's numbers seem to back that up.
  19. From a Tower!3D perspective, I agree with Pete that it doesn't matter. In real life it matters quite a bit. However, we don't have all the tools to see the big picture. It does make me cringe to see "YouTube experts" at KLAX simultaneously depart planes from 24L departing south and from 25R departing north. And, of course, every plane parking on the north side departs from 24L and the south side departs from 25R. This just doesn't happen in real life. But then, it is a whole lot easier to play Tower!3D as a game versus a true real life simulation.
  20. Landing clearances are handled differently in the US and Europe. In the US at busy airports like those in the sim, handoff to the tower controller would NOT be taking place 20nm out. Probably something closer to 7nm (new version wishlist item). 🙂Ignoring that shortcoming, the FAA allows for the use of anticipated separation. Here's a previous post on the subject: https://forum.simflight.com/topic/83989-cleared-to-land/?do=findComment&comment=507694
  21. Which comment?
  22. @BFunfer - A couple of observations "I'm not a computer genius, just an old guy ..." -> Don't sell yourself short. You posted screenshots and created a YouTube video. Relatively speaking, that's advanced! Unless I'm missing it, I haven't seen any mention of running Tracon!2012 and/or traconspeakbridge as admin. It's worth a try. I don't see a speech.log file so you are never initiating the speech engine. It probably won't tell us much, but you may want to post your game.log file if the above doesn't fix anything.
  23. I think people are listening and trying to help - the back in forth in the thread is indicative of that. Unfortunately you're asking for help on a game that is 6 years old, showing its age, and doesn't get much play anymore. Also, there appears to be something specific to your system that is causing the crash. That is always tough to debug. For what it's worth, I don't have a gaming computer. Just a measly laptop, but Tracon!2012 runs fine on it. You haven't mentioned a sound card or microphone. What are your specs for those? Also you may want to share screenshots of all your Tracon folders and contents. Maybe a file is missing or corrupt (despite the Steam verification).
  24. Personally, I waited for the Pro version because the regular version did not have a few features I wanted - especially voice recognition.
  25. With hints of a new Tower version at some point in the future I was curious on what Tower product(s) the community owned. As a result, I put together a little survey. This survey is not promoted or developed by FeelThere, they don't need it because obviously they know their sales. Feel free to post comments, thought, rationale, etc.
