  1. It was released over 3 months ago. Real Traffic hasn't changed, so unless you are using a custom schedule you won't notice anything different. Not sure what you mean by ''such as T2 & T3".
  2. @pete_agreatguy - I just wanted to say thanks for maintaining the list. It's obvious some are not as appreciative of your efforts as they should be.
  3. KLGA was developed by SimSmith. Does that mean you'll still take a look and possibly implement a fix?
  4. I always thought the 6 taxiways was a command limitation and not necessarily an internal route calculation limitation. --------------------------- I looked at some old log files and below shows calculated routes with over 6 taxiways. KLAX 12:10:15 alt: 0 takeoff: False/False/-2 OWNER_TOWER t: T5_in r: 25L * SWA5554 => Route is: H4, H, T, T, B, S, D, D7, T5_in, KJFK 18:03:25 alt: 0 takeoff: False/False/-1 OWNER_GROUND r: 13R * JBU1013 => Route is: T5_4, T5_apron, T4-5_apron, G, A, A, Q, MC, P, PA, calculate time: 0.04666138s highest count: 6167 KPHX 08:19:36 alt: 0 takeoff: False/False/-2 OWNER_TOWER t: T_g8 r: 25L * SWA354 => Route is: G4, F, F6, E6, E, D9, D, t_apron_13, T_g8, calculate time: 2.16272s highest count: 34572
  5. FeelThere mentioned the 8 hour loading process regarding Pro. But I figured out the solution with Tower!2011 before knowing the real cause of the issue. I prefer the term snippets. Any other term is just a marketing ploy to cover up a stolen idea. In real life controllers don't have to deal with the limitations that we have in the sim. I heard some people just use the 28s at KSFO. What's the use of playing these unique airports if you can only use parallel runways?
  6. Looking at your GA file I find it interesting at the number of US registered planes (tail numbers beginning with N) that fly in/out of LEBL to other points in Europe - 9 planes in the schedule if I counted right. On the other hand, there are 0 planes with Spain registrations (tail numbers beginning with EC) in the schedule. Thoughts?
  7. At startup, the sim loads 8 hours worth of flights to apparently appease binge players. As a result, due to the way gates are assigned many departures get dropped and many arrivals will not show up due to a lack of gate availability. I discovered this issue with Tower!2011 and it is actually worse in Tower!3D and Pro (they used to "only" load 6 hours). The only way to combat this issue and to attempt to enjoy a schedule as it was created is to use snippets as Pete shared. I have provided snippets for all my custom schedules and this has been copied by several others - those that focus on quality and even those that focus on quantity. This problem exits in both single and multiplayer and can impact morning hours as well as afternoon and evening hours. Note to self - add a fix for this issue to wishlist items. 😉
  8. Not true. In the example above, if 77U is being referencd by ATC as part of the call sign - the sim does not handle the U in the flight number. It is currently being ignored.
  9. This is a known issue with the base game. It loads 8 hours of flights and consequently it can cause many flights in the schedule to be dropped. That's why in all my custom schedules I provide snippets - 2 to 3 hour schedule slices to get around the loading issue as much as possible.
  10. I bet at least one person (besides Gabor) had input on what liveries appeared in the new airport.
  11. The game engine is where the logic resides, so unlikely is underselling it. It will definitely not be fixed.
  12. Remember the next version? I'm glad you asked. Here's some information you may find interesting. The term "next version" has been mentioned in 126 posts regarding Tower!3D Pro. Interestingly, the first post was in September 2016 ... before Pro was even released. 🙁 Thirty different people have mentioned the term (see attached graphic). So, yes I remember and have seen "next version" mentioned plenty of times for a couple of years now. 🙄
  13. With Dubai Airport in the pipeline - here's an interesting cool video inside Dubai's ATC. Hey @FeelThere, any plans to update our equipment (ADIRS, DBRITE, STRIP) to something more current like we see in the video?
  14. No - the specific runway number doesn't matter. Normally, the hold short will "fail" only if the intersection design is flawed (which doesn't appear to be the case) or as @hexzed mentioned a previous command causes the sim to improperly ignore it. For future reference, the issue is easily traceable by looking at the log file.
  15. Oh @Braf123456 - ye ole master of the typo. But is the reason they don't "say says" the airport name just because they are a dlc. Do you think that is by design? Should it be that way? Is it a problem with the base game or the airport dlc?
  16. Despite a schedule maker's best efforts, what the schedule says and what the sim can handle are two different animals.
  17. Fact or guess and why would/should it make a difference?
  18. That is not a correct statement. If you have a livery for an airplane (airline, type) it WILL show up at all airports where that airplane (airline, type) is included in the schedule.
  19. Yes, you can update the XXXX_airlines.txt file in the ...\Extensions\Airfields\XXXX folder (where XXXX is the ICAO airport code). In your case you would want to change LOT, LO, POLLOT, LOT Polish Airlines, Poland to LOT, LO, LOT, LOT Polish Airlines, Poland
  20. What about those that post *Early Look* videos on their YouTube channel?
  21. The SP for LAX was for Real Color and is managed (along with Real Traffic) by a different developer. All these bugs and nuances are fixable, but sadly FeelThere decided to lock down the base game and associated airports almost 9 months ago. 👎 For Tower!2011, we had the the ability to modify/create airports and airplanes. That ability was not included with Tower!3D Pro but FeelThere has hinted that customization might be added back in the next version. 👍 Unfortunately, we are now in a waiting game for the (much needed, in my opinion) next version. ☚ī¸
  22. Section 1.2.2 indicates the preferred configuration is west flow. However, it appears Joe decided to demonstrate the "non-preferential" configuration in his early look video. And in this non-preferential configuration, the typical runway usage is 7L for arrivals and 7R for arrivals and departures. However, there is verbiage indicating 7L can be used for departures instead of 7R if deemed necessary. In looking at plane spotting videos and sites, 7L is definitely used by some heavies (long haul). Are departures on 7L mandatory for heavies? No. Do heavies actually use 7L for departures? Yes. Comments unfounded? A little harsh, but what else is new.
  23. Size matters! Going back to some early research I did, each gate has a parameter called termlimit with values of 0, 1, or 2 indicating the maximum usable plane size at that gate. If I'm not mistaken 0 is for props & turboprops, 1 is for regional jet & narrow body jet, and 2 is for wide body jet. At LAX gates 30, 37A, 48A, and 75B are defined as termlimit="0" which means only props and turboprobs can park there. More than likely in this case, the developers used this definition to help with troublesome pushbacks. Unfortunately just as you are seeing, that means these gates can become unusable.
  24. For FeelThere Gatwick is first in line. Barcelona is being released by Nyerges Design.
  25. Does this mean you've found a girlfriend in the last week @AirJamaica? 😂
