Retro RC User Submissions

hexzed

Recommended Posts

Hello fellow ATC enthusiasts!

Gabor has given the go ahead to the second phase of the Retro RC process, requests!

Gabor has also agreed to add the Concorde, with the British Airways livery 😃

I have attached the list of confirmed planes, again below.

All 25 liveries will be created that are in the attached spreadsheet

PLUS 15 extra user submissions

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Rules for user submissions

All requested liveries must be on the attached list of plane types, OR plane types that are currently modeled in game, please do not request any new planes to be modeled as they will be ignored

Please do not request recently defunct airlines/liveries that are already included in the game. If in doubt consult Garys list here

All requests must be in the below format

PLANE ICAO, PLANE IATA, AIRLINE ICAO, AIRLINE IATA, CALLSIGN, AIRLINE NAME

PLUS links to 2 of the best quality photos you can find that shows the livery and plane that you have  requested, from the left and right side

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

All submissions are welcome, including multiple versions of airline livery. Please remember though these are less likely to be chosen if there are 15 or more unique airline/livery combinations requested

Submissions will be accepted until midnight UTC 11th January 2020

For any clarification or questions, please ask

Ben

The MD-82 is not in the list, but it is already included in Real Traffic. I hope that is ok, since it should not interfere with other RC Packs. Otherwise I withdraw the suggestion.

MD82, M82, ROA, QQ, RENO AIR, Reno Air, United States

Since the IATA code QQ is now used by Alliance Airlines (UTY/UNITY), I suggest changing it to Q1 (as far as I know not assigned in the real world).

Not a retro airline, however the Boeing 737-200 is a retro aircraft, so to see this livery added since this is a Canadian Arctic workhorse as a Combi would be awesome.

This one is for Gary ( @Pedantic G) 😉

B747, 744, BA, BAW, SPEEDBIRD, British Overseas Airways Corp. (Obviously this conflicts with British Airways, I'd suggest changing this to a different code like B1, BOA)

Would a Pan Am A310 retro enough? 🙂 Also a possiblt DAL A310. I think it is the most beautiful airplane ever flew in the sky.

Thanks for the input. Just remember the only new plane types that will be modeled are the ones in the attached list

According to Wikipedia, A30B/AB4 are the codes for the A300C4, and the A306/AB6 (A300-600) already exists in the game with UPS livery, so I thought it would be the B2/B4/C4 that will be modeled for Northeastern International Airways. (But I don't think anyone will notice, if the LH livery is not on a C4, but on whatever Northeastern was operating...)

Hi everybody

I have simplified the priority of the requests

Due to the already large amount of requests, (which is great by the way, keep them coming), to be fair, at the end of the submission process, a lot of the final decision will be put back into the hands of the forum users 🙂

Fair enough. Will add this to the list under the A306
