Here are the specs for Tower!2011 that indicates it is Windows 8 compatible, and a quick look at the forum indicates that people are running it under Windows 10. As far as Real Traffic for Tower!2011 goes, the latest package I have is real_traffic_sp5.exe. Please do not send a screenshot of your receipt, but a screenshot of the game showing what is not working might help. Also, in your: C:\Program Files (x86)\FeelThere\Tower! 2011\Databases and especially in your C:\Program Files (x86)\FeelThere\Tower! 2011\Airplanes directory, you should have lots of files of the airplanes. Does anybody have a favorite scenario that they especially enjoy? Mine is KPHL, from 15:00 to 20:00, landing 9R, diverting de Havillands to 8 and terminal E and F traffic to 35. Departures go to 9L via taxiway K. I usually choose clear weather, the best for Nyerges RC and RT. KPHL during this timeframe usually has alternating departures and arrivals, where one hour will be mostly arrivals, then the next hour mostly departures. The departures have a tendency to backup quickly. The passengers are not happy, but I am doing the best I can to get everyone off safely. RickyJ

If I remember correctly, you can ignore that message. Tracon!2012 is trying to install a version of c++ redistributable that is older than the version you currently have, but Tracon!2012 will still work just fine. It does not need and older version. RickyJ`

Avwriter, I am trying to prove that when I installed the five packages in the order as stated that the statement made by HappyNUyear that " Real Color for Tower 3D doesn't work" does in fact work and that there may be some deep underlying problems that HappyNUyear is experiencing of which Harvester may have hinted to. To date we have not seen any screenshots of the problem that HappyNUyear is experiencing. Screen clips of the directory structure from HappyNUyear would most certainly confirm or deny Harveste's suspicions. I myself have taken screen clips of the directory structure after every package install and each install has its' unique characteristics. I would be able to tell at a glance exactly which packages were installed and which were not installed. This topic was started by HappyNUyear whom I believe is still having a problem and joined by ernuwieder and fermeister stating they had similar problems, but I believe the later two have resolved their problems. Another aspect that adds to the confusion is that there are no specifics other than it does not work. Kind of like sending an email to your mechanic and saying your car does not work, how do I fix it. I don't mean to be rude since this has been exasperating for everyone all around, and would just like to help if I can. RickyJ

For which airport TIST, KPHL, KLAX or KJFK? Perhaps a screenshot would help. In your original post, I do not see where you installed Real Color for KJFK. RickyJ

I do not see where you have installed Real Traffic for Tower!3D by Nyerges. You need both Real Color and Real Traffic to get the full effect. Real Traffic will give you not only real world airlines (Jet Blue, American Airlines, Delta, Singapore Airlines, Virgin etc.) along with a 24-hour schedule, but also more aircraft models (at least 60 different unique aircraft, from what I have been able to recognize). Also, Real Traffic is said to be updated for any new airports that are announced. So far SP5 of Real Traffic supports TIST, KPHL, KLAX and KJFK. Any future new airports to be released will come in a new SP for Real Traffic for Tower!3D by Nyerges. Whereas Real Color for Tower13D is specific for each airport and will have to be purchased. I ran the scenario again, zoomed in really close, did a screen capture, imported the file into PhotoShop, and zoomed in really, really, really, really close, and now you can see the ground crew pushing the Cessna back :) RickyJ

On behalf of stuch17 and stumpy, here is the log file and screenshot of the time-frame in question, which is I believe starting at 08:00 as selected on the Main Menu for KLAX. The actual start time ends up being 09:31 but the time stamp for the first departure is 18:05 in the "history window", but changes to 09:31 when told to taxi. Personally I do no have a problem with the time differences or the amount of traffic at any given time since I am having too much fun with the sim to worry about such anomalies and dare I say be caviled, but I thought I could be of some assistance. FYI, There seems to be a file conflict when installing, or should I say when un-installing KJFK_for_Tower3D and/or RT_Tower3D The files are named the same and placed in the same directory. The un-install file for Tower!3D is fine, since it is named Uninstall-tower3d.exe, but the un-install files for KJFK_for_Tower3D and RT_Tower3D are named uninstal.exe and both are in the C:\Program Files (x86)\FeelThere\Tower 3D folder. So depending which you install last is what will un-install. However, you will have to install the other first before you can un-install it, after un-installing he previous add-on. Confused? I know I am, but I have an excuse, I'm old :) There are three things that happen when you get old, The first is you loose your memory, and I forget the other two, RickyJ

With Tower!3d issuing service packs and Real Traffic Tower!3D issuing service packs and I am sure Real Color Tower!3D and the airports will have service packs you may need to be more specific of which addon the service pack is associated with. The change sequence that I am familiar with is: Tower!3D Real Traffic Tower!3D Hot Fix SP2 SP1 SP3 SP2 SP2a Would a sticky with the evolution of Tower!3D be helpfull? Maybe it was SP2a for Tower!3D that the landing lights went missing. I'm sure the developers will be able to shed some "light" on the topic. RickyJ

Yes, that is correct, that is why I specify "enter final" for a different runway to the aircraft from approach control then select "cleared to land". As long as the runway is long enough it will land, otherwise it will not accept the command to land. All runways are available for takeoffs or landings, if the runways are long enough for the aircraft. If they are not long enough you will be notified. You are not limited to the runways you select when you start the sim. The selected runways are only used for approach control. RickyJ

As reference in another topic which would explain the immediate turnaround departure - in a quote from FeelThere: "Also, we rewrote the logic for reusing arrived airplanes for departure. By the time we developed T!2011 a turnaround time was about 2 hours. In these days no airline can afford it so you will see turnaround as fast as 20 minutes. If a plane gets delayed on arrival there are times when it will depart again almost immediately. I agree this is sometimes funny, but this is the only way to make some realistic average turnaround to be programmed.
