If I'm not mistaken, there are over 170 non-window-freighter-liveries for about 70 different airlines in the various RC packs. With the help of @Pedantic G's Master List you should be able to quickly find out which packs you need and which aircraft models you have to use or replace in your favored schedules.

Reference Card Appx. for GA "TYPE" from Schedule Builder added to first post Almost nobody does it, but those who do will certainly have noticed that the aircraft designators in the callsign for GA flights are sometimes difficult to understand from the pilots when creating a schedule with GA flights in the Schedule Builder using the GA callsign phonetics type "type". So that you are not forced to always take a look at the gaandlocaltraffic.txt or use the Schedule Information Tool Website, I have now made a list as PDF with all the a/c identifiers that the pilots might use.

@jaxsonsalminen Yes! Provided Real Traffic add-on is installed, you can replace the original files with the ones offered here in the \Extensions\Airfields\KIAD folder and you are good to go.

You were probably too focused on the work ahead to notice. 😉 I just checked 3 videos from 3 different YouTubers (Tower!3D Pro, EGLL) and in all three of them the initial contact was with Tower and PB readback to Ground. While this is true, it can help with busy schedules if you're not too particular about realism.

Damn! @crbascott beat me by half a second! 😂

What @pocketdynamo87 said, plus is neither a valid command by default nor a realistic one but a useful shortcut. To use this command you need to add the following line to your tower3d.rec file: #airplane1; PUSHBACK APPROVED EXPECT RUNWAY ;#runway1; AT ;#taxiway1 Alternatively you can use the TOWER3D.REC MOD from this thread: This is a file containing all the additional and modified commands found by the community over the years that are compatible with the game. In the VOICE COMMANDS - REFERENCE CARD (v2.04) in the same thread you can find all these commands as a PDF file.

tower!3d pro Schedule Builder Tool - create your own schedules
EliGrim replied to EliGrim's topic in ATC Simulators
Actually, the download should work immediately. In extremely rare cases, it may take up to a minute. Based on your message, I assume that you can see the blue button, but nothing happens when you click on it, right? If you have visited the Schedule Creator website before, whether logged in or not, please clear your Bowser cache, close your browser, then reopen it and compile the project again. If the download still doesn't work, please send me a PM with the version of your operating system, the browser you are using and the version of the browser. I will then look into it. Thanks a lot. EDIT: Brief info... Here's the thread for the Schedule Creator: https://forum.simflight.com/topic/92091-schedule-creator-tool-create-100-custom-schedules/ Creator and Builder are named very similarly and are therefore easy to confuse. -
You could try https://www.flightera.net/ but if I'm not mistaken, the data here goes back 3 years as well and information on gates or terminals will also be hard to get. I assume with your FR24 membership you get the same information.

tower!3d pro Schedule Creator Tool - create 100% custom schedules
EliGrim replied to EliGrim's topic in ATC Simulators
Update v0.9l;m;n [Aug 9-29 2021] Bug fixed that caused IndiGo Airlines (IGO/6E) flight numbers greater than 99 to be invalid Since nEn represents a number in scientific notation and is also recognized by programming languages, this resulted in 6E100 and higher, although not converted to a decimal number, being recognized as a five- or six-digit flight number and thus marked as invalid by the Schedule Creator. The parameters for checking individual flights have been refined to eliminate such an error in the future. Preferences to Livery Checkup added During Livery Checkup, you will now see a "Preferences" button that allows you to select Real Color packs to be included in the checkup. By selecting (green) and deselecting (red) packs, you can specify which of them you own or which should be used for checking. Custom lists download/upload added The button "Manage Custom Files" now appears in the Compile section navigation. If terminal assignments have been made or airlines or airports have been added to custom lists, these can now be downloaded as text files. This serves as a backup of your lists in case of account deletion. However, these files can also be shared or used for another account. Via the upload function, these files can be used to avoid having to enter the data by hand. Unless force majeure prevents it, on the weekend of September 18 and 19, I will re-record the introductory video to include the August changes. After that it will be available online and the Custom Schedule Creator will then reach version 1.0. No further changes are planned at this point. Then the automated account deletion will also come into effect. Under certain (very unlikely) circumstances, accounts can be deleted after 21 days of inactivity. This can only be done manually. The automated account deletion will be triggered if an account has been inactive (no login detected) for more than 109 days. (As of today, 68 accounts are affected.) An account deletion includes all data and is irreversible and happens without user notification, since no data is recorded that would allow such notification. Of course, any user can create one or more new accounts at any time. Account deletion is not a sanction but necessary to keep the server as efficient as possible. Schedule Creator Website -
It is possible (although unlikely) that the game contacts different servers in different regions, or by using a proxy or VPN, the connection bypasses the standard local IP address. You may need to adjust your local address (LAN address, the leading one). If you are using a firewall, you can open the network monitor of the firewall software and might track (ethernet enabled) which server the game is contacting and how. Then you should be able to adjust the hosts file accordingly or (and) prohibit access directly in your firewall software. Honestly, I don't understand why the developer doesn't just turn off this connectivity. It only leads to problems and frustration for the customer and if I'm not mistaken, serves solely to display advertising or update information for a game for which there are no updates for a long time. It is also possible that it is not just the IP access, but there is an underlying problem as well. Since I don't have any problems loading the game, I can't really get to the bottom of this.

Yes, and because of the regional prices on Steam (VAT included). For someone from Israel, Swiss, UK or Australia, a sale on your site will probably be interesting as well, whereas for many EU citizens they will find themselves in the situation where a 20 or 30% sale for an airport on your site is pretty much the same as the non-discounted price on Steam. For people from Brazil, Turkey, Russia, Mexico, and many, many other countries, your website's prices are generally not of any interest, as they can get e.g. airports for well under $10 US on Steam. So it depends extremely on where you live in the world. Here is a price comparison for the last published airport: https://steamdb.info/app/1700390/ Edit: While you're at it, you might also want to fix the features listed on Steam. As far as I know, T!3D Pro and DLC obviously support Online Co-op but neither Online PvP nor Split Screen PvP. In-App Purchases are also not possible, to the best of my knowledge. And while it could be argued that one feature of Remote Play Together involves screen sharing, since no local multiplayer is possible, the mention of Remote Play Together could well be misleading. However, I do not want to imply anything here. Maybe there is a multiplayer mode specifically for Remote Play Together that I just don't know about. I don't want to start an argument either, but wanted it mentioned.

To add to the above post, it should be mentioned that another advantage of Steam that should not be underestimated is refunds. If a game does not run flawlessly or you simply do not like it, you can return it within two weeks, as long as it has been played for less than two hours, and the purchase price will be refunded without any red tape, provided you don't abuse that system. Personally, I would generally prefer Steam. In this particular case, however, I fully agree with @crbascott. There will be no more updates for the game and the chance of a sale is greater on the FeelThere website than on Steam. Although a publisher can discount their games and DLC every 2 months (if I'm not mistaken) on Steam, FeelThere tends to do it on their web store instead, which is especially interesting for people residing in the US. Considering the prices for game, airports, Real Traffic and Real Color add-ons and the fact that the game engine is outdated, there are some bugs in the game that have never been fixed and it lacks some features that are supposed to be implemented in the new version (Tower! Simulator 3), I would also advise you to seriously consider waiting for the new version.

That's pretty much what I mean. And yes, I would pay for a "colorful" Real Traffic pack. It doesn't have to be done via a Real Color pack. Boeings and Airbuses could look like this for example: https://www.boeing.com/commercial/newlivery/index.page (gallery and historic gallery for variation) https://www.airbus.com/newsroom/news/en/2021/05/More-flexibility-for-the-A320-Family-production-system.html https://www.airbus.com/newsroom/news/en/2021/04/The-ingenious-way-for-airlines-to-weather-the-storm.html ..and if no factory livery is available I am also okay with a fake livery. However, you will find at least concept liveries for each model. The same applies to the smaller (GA) aircraft of other manufacturers. It could be released in the form of a Real Traffic Update pack that still requires the purchase of the original Real Traffic pack. I don't see any problems with technical realization.

I like the idea. A GA pack with factory or even fantasy liveries for light and medium aircraft, that would be a pack I would pay for. I wouldn't mind 50 or 60 new fake codes. The pack should just come out well before the release of the new Tower version - if ever considered that is. EDIT: Even better would be a pack with default liveries for all aircraft models with either factory or believable fantasy paint jobs that are loaded if no other livery is found. For such a pack I would gladly pay 5 to 15 bucks - and I could imagine that other players would also be willing to do so if this would make the "white" planes disappear. Technically I see no problem to do this.

Brief notice: Due to update and maintenance work on the server, there may be downtimes on August 21 between 9am and 4pm UTC in which the Tools Websites will be unavailable. All scripts are ready for the new software/database versions and therefore I do not expect any problems following the server work.

@Braf123456 then I am reassured; you simply quoted the wrong reply then. However, I am still interested in your opinion and I think it also helps Nyergesdesign if the community members give detailed input beyond the poll. Of course, this is not just for you, but for everyone who participates in the poll or reads this. For Nyergesdesign it's probably not only about finding out if people like the idea, but also if the packs will be bought.

@Braf123456 I have "grim" in my username, what do you expect? 😉 But all joking aside... Please do me a favor and don't confuse criticism or a personal opinion with complaining; and even if I do complain, I don't do it without context and most likely for the reason that I care. When I do criticize, which does happen, I will always try to justify that criticism and if possible make proposals for solutions or suggest improvements. However, this does not mean that I am automatically right. Not in general and not here. Maybe my concerns, and that's all they are, are baseless and the packs will sell great. Based on your reaction, I think you disagree with me and I'm interested in your opinion, and especially why you disagree. Maybe you have the better arguments and it would be a pity if you keep them for yourself. After all, this is an Internet forum which also lives on discussions and there naturally not every member will be of the same opinion.

This is a tough one. My initial thought is that this will probably only be appealing for the people who already own all the airports and color packs. Since this might be region and airport spanning packs, I would have to look very closely to see if there will be enough interesting in it for me personally, except it will be massive packs with 200 and more liveries. Don't get me wrong, I am absolutely not against the idea. It certainly can't hurt to have the option to buy such a pack if wanted. Personally, I likely wouldn't do it though and since the first pack will probably come out well after the release of the new Tower version, I doubt that it's a wise decision from a financial point of view to invest working time in these packs. However, this is just my personal and a single opinion. I am curious what other community members think about it and will abstain from voting.

tower!3d pro Schedule Builder Tool - create your own schedules
EliGrim replied to EliGrim's topic in ATC Simulators
Update v1.05 Files can now be conveniently downloaded as zip archive and no longer need to be clicked on individually to download. (If creating the zip file fails, the individual download is offered automatically.) The download of the sorted schedule is kept as an option to check the schedule (if needed) before downloading the zip archive. This is optional, the sorted schedule is also included as ScheduleInfo.txt in the zip archive as well. As of today, all non-mandatory work on the Schedule Builder will be discontinued. The Schedule Builder Tool is now considered finished. If there are any changes in the real world, such as closing or opening a terminal, they will (officially) no longer be reflected in the Schedule Builder. At this time, it is planned to keep the Schedule Builder website available for at least the next 2 years. Schedule Builder Website -
Yeah, my fault. I sneaked the runway designation into the command. I have corrected my post. Sorry.
-
@WildCard I am confused. Are you implying that @MJKERR has arrivals exit on S7 to park on the opposite side of the runway? In my mind, the turns to be made at the end of the runway would be very disruptive to other arriving pilots. I can't imagine MJKERR doing that. Towards the cargo area and T4 I don't see a problem and it would be explained by the right and left concept, regardless of how the game translates it mathematically. But sure, since I don't own EGLL and thus don't know how it actually plays, my posts remain rather theoretical. I also don't want to rule out the possibility that MJKERR uses S7 to bypass the runway in a somewhat strange way and it may even be done in real life. If he does so and it works, then the left or right concept would not be applicable to EGLL of course but for me doing that doesn't make sense, at least not the way the map on ADIRS looks in gameplay videos.
-
@WildCard has explained in detail why this is so. For 09L/27R it should be obvious and for 09R/27L you probably won't try to have the arrivals exit on the "wrong" side.

TOWER! SIMULATOR AUG DEVELOPMENT BLOG IS OUT **SCREENSHOTS**
EliGrim replied to FeelThere_Vic's topic in ATC Simulators
Thank you for the update. Personally, though, I'm more interested in a proper roadmap and info on which of the wish list features are included in the current build and which are planned for the next builds or stages. It would also be interesting to know what PC specs the builds are tested with and what system requirements you are aiming for. However, it is probably still a bit too early to tell at this point. As for the screenshots... Yes, they look quite nice, but much more interesting would be real gameplay screenshots or videos. I hope we'll get to see something like that in the future. With the information released so far, I still can't get an idea if I'm interested in the new Tower version or not. I hope it is possible that we will get to know more tangible details in the coming weeks or months. -
Just tested OMDB... worked like a charm! I'm using VACATE RUNWAY LEFT/RIGHT ONTO TAXIWAY X, usually the moment the arrival comes visible on ADIRS.

Try to disable WiFi and/or unplug your LAN cable or disable your network adapter. If that works, you can try this as well: https://steamcommunity.com/app/588190/discussions/0/3044978436772930644/#c3050610473979963629
