  1. If you check out the LAX webcam you'll see the cargo area is much more substantial than the 10 parking spots (Terminal_GA) we see in Pro. I've also attached a partial diagram of LAX. The area circled in blue is what we see in Pro. The area in red used by cargo operators such as FedEx, DHL, Philippine Airlines, Polar, Lufthansa, Air China, China Southern, and China Airlines has not been included. We have houses instead. (This is all from a post back in April - http://forum.simflight.com/topic/83148-tower3dpro-lax-cargo/?do=findComment&comment=501579 FYI - Here's a link to a thread where I brought up the LAX cargo area back in February in which FeelThere responded with a couple of comments. http://forum.simflight.com/topic/82942-tower3d-pro-lax-cargo/ I found the following 2015 airfield map (https://www.lawa.org/uploadedFiles/LAX/pdf/Airfield Map front 2011- 102011-01.pdf) and in addition to what you mentioned we are lacking taxiway D extending to taxiway R, taxiways E11 & E12, and of course the large cargo area. I found this airport diagram dated early 2012 (https://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/commons/c/c0/LAX_Airport_diagram.gif),. The D extension to R existed back then so what we are seeing in Tower is representative of what LAX looked like in 2011 or earlier.
  2. Yep, most folks have gone with using Terminal_GA for UPS and FDX. I prefer a more realistic approach so I'm not a fan of taking SWA out of Terminal 1 and moving it to the south side of the airport. Actually, I've modified the LAX Terminal file to represent the recent changes - specifically Delta moving to Terminal 2 and 3. Terminal_GA: GA,FDX,UPS Terminal_1: SWA Terminal_2: AMX,CPZ,DAL,EIN,SLI,LRC,VIR,WJA Terminal_3: CPZ,DAL Terminal_TBIT: AFL,BER,CCA,AFR,ANZ,AZA,ANA,AAR,AIJ,AVA,BAW,CPA,CAL,CES,CHH,CSN,CMP,ELY,UAE,ETH,ETD,EVE,FJI,IBE,JAL,KLM,KAL,LAN,LPE,DLH,NAX,PAL,QFA,QTR,SAS,SWR,TAI,VOI,VOZ,WOW Terminal_4: AAL Terminal_5: AAL,AAY,FFT,HAL,JBU,NKS,SCX Terminal_6: ACA,ASA,BTQ,QXE,GLA,BUG,TCX,VRD Terminal_7: UAL Terminal_8: MEO,SKW,ASH,UAL I based my changes on the following link: https://www.lawa.org/uploadedFiles/LAX/pdf/LAX%20Airline%20Location%20Map.pdf. Actually, it looks like it may have been slightly updated since I made my changes. I probably need to review it again. Sadly, for both Tower!2011 and Tower!3D Pro FeelThere hasn't given us LAX's cargo area.Very baffling. So, any attempt at realism from a cargo standpoint is very limited.
  3. SK, I couldn't really find any info on ADIRS on the web. Looks like airports now use ASDE and ASDE-X. All the examples I saw the display had North on top. I couldn't find a real life picture/video./ The only thing I found was someone on VATSIM controlling KSAN. Again, north was on top. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2YbgphGbXk4&t=1118s Regarding the wind direction - it was dis"cussed" quite heavily in the thread below. Pilots included. Sadly, the link you shared did nothing for me as there is no picture or graphical representation of the indicator. I sure would like to see one from ATC equipment. http://forum.simflight.com/topic/82958-pro-wind-indicator/
  4. Changing real life callsigns just to be able to use the FOLLOW COMPANY seems to be in total contrast to products that call itself Real Traffic and Real Color. This has nothing to do with game mechanics - it is a oversight/mistake in the airlines file. Besides, I would assume the FOLLOW COMPANY wouldn't work because the airline codes for Rouge and Air Canada are different.
  5. Fixing the situation by spending an additional $6.99 (USD) and altering the schedule is not the optimal solution. But, I'm sure FeelThere and Nyerges Design appreciate it.
  6. A couple of callsign changes include CPZ which now goes by just COMPASS and GJS which goes by LINDBERGH.
  7. No update yet. Maybe Nyerges will included KPHL fixes as part of the KBOS update. We'll see.
  8. The last 0 is low approach. If you want to do a stop_n_go, touch_n_go, or low approach the from and to airports should be the same. Then one of the zeroes needs to be changed to a number. You can have all three be zeroes and the GA flight should show up, but you either need to change the airport_from or airport_to. As is, the sim doesn't know whether it is an arrival or departure.
  9. Attached is a real life overhead snippet of KSAN. The tower is circled in red and I've drawn a green line from the end of runway 9 to the tower. Looking at the overhead and other pictures of the airport, as best as I can tell there are some low shrubs but nothing that should be blocking the view of the tower. Those trees make it difficult to see planes exiting the runway - especially with the limited ability to zoom.
  10. I found the post. See below. He did not post a log file, but this indicates the crazy taxiing is not an isolated incident. If it happens to me again, I'll definitely share the details. http://steamcommunity.com/app/588190/discussions/0/1471969431603664316/
  11. The starting time for our session was 17:00 and according to the RT schedule the departure time for that flight is 17:52.
  12. Look closer at AMX403. it is in the middle of the airfield not on a taxiway - I've circled it in red. It was supposed to be going to 31L but took off north cutting through the airfield. I've drawn a line in yellow indicating the route it took. Who knows where it would have ended up.
  13. I thought I saw where someone had posted this issue previously, but couldn't find it so I'm sharing my info. AC Rogue and I were playing a multiplayer session at KJFK when AMX403 decided to go rogue (so to speak) and taxi to 31L by heading north through the airport. I've attached a screenshot and I believe the cyan line shows where he came from and was supposed to go to. I've also attached the output log. Craig output_log.txt
  14. This whole exchange could have been avoided if you would have (a) ignored my posts - which is what I expected or (b) actually read my first post. But instead you decided to question my intelligence. But you have spoken loud and clear and I have listened. I surrender, you win!
  15. RickyJ did not run that flight as a test, he's looking at files. Bottom line: there is a livery for Ethiopian's B788 in RC (B788_et.jpg). However, the livery is wrong as you've seen and I've verified with the screenshot.
  16. Not in this case.
  17. Yep, below is a picture of an ETD 77L being followed by the ETH 788. Nyerges Design will need to fix the ETH livery.
  18. Good catch. EDV/CRJ was delivered as part of the KJFK Real Color but needs to be added to KPHL as well. Regarding JZA CRJ, SKW CR9, RPA ER4 - none of these planes are in the RT schedule file for KPHL (SP5). As a result, they won't be included in RC for KPHL. FYI - SKW/CR9 was included with RC for KLAX so it shouldn't have a blank livery for you.
  19. Despite Hainan (CHH) being in the terminal file, there are no Hainan flights included in the Real Traffic schedule. As a result, this plane is not included in Real Color. That is one of the "risks" of using a custom schedule.
  20. You can delete the speech.log file and it won't hurt anything.
  21. You're rather sensitive on this topic aren't you? No worries ... I didn't expect you to say "Thank you for the report, we will look into this". Since I'm a good boy and always do what I'm told, I will leave the debugging to you. Besides I'm just an ignorant customer who couldn't begin to understand the rocket science behind the log files. Please accept my apologies.
  22. Not sure if this answers your questions but is an interesting read nontheless. https://www.faa.gov/airports/planning_capacity/profiles/media/LAS-Airport-Capacity-Profile-2015.pdf
  23. Yes, gate availability is a factor for departures and arrivals. I just created a topic on this very issue - http://forum.simflight.com/topic/84088-tower3d-pro-no-free-terminal-limits-departures/ - based on a session using the real traffic schedule (no custom files at all). The sim's initial gate assignment logic is obviously complex but produces strange results at times. In fact the other night we had some multiplayer sessions at ATL and for the same starting time there was more traffic with the traffic setting at 70% than at 100%. Very baffling.
  24. I haven't had an issue with having multiple schedule files in the airport folder. For example, if I want to use a custom schedule I created for LAX I can rename the real traffic schedule from klax_schedule.txt to klax_schedule_orig.txt and rename my custom schedule file called klax_schedule_studmuffin.txt to klax_schedule.txt and I'm good to go. I have 14 schedule files in the KSAN folder right now. One for each hour I want to control. Only the file named ksan_schedule.txt is picked up by the sim.
