  1. Vic, did you read the posts? Where in the first post does it say anything about modifying anything? So, as you asked I'm letting you know that I tried with the default first. On the second post (and second try) I didn't modify anything. I just took a subset of the default schedule and used it. You're reading more into this than there is.
  2. As a follow up, I ran the same session as single player but paired down the schedule file to only include hours 08, 09, and 10. Using the full file we had 26 departures and 24 arrivals and there were 78ish NO FREE TERMINAL messages in the log file. Using the smaller schedule file for the same starting time, I had 50 departures and 23 arrivals and the log file (see attached) only had 2 NO FREE TERMINAL messages. As a result, I still believe there are issues with the way the sim initially assigns gates. However, I'm a realist and don't expect FeelThere to change the game engine based on previous responses. So, these posts are probably more of a public service message to those that may notice the number of flights is not as expected. Fortunately, there is a workaround that I have used since Tower!2011 and that is to limit the hours included in the schedule. Pushback approved, Craig game.log
  3. There's a chance your Real Color was not installed inthe correct location. There are several posts on the forum about this. Regarding voice, there can be several things that keep voice from working. I'd definitely recommend trying the suggestions mentioned and if those don't work scan the forum for similar situations as yours or post in the SPEECH ISSUE topic. Good luck!
  4. I don't have the steam version but there should be a tower3d.bat file that when run creates a game.log file. However, there is also a a file called output_log.txt created every session in the tower3d_Data folder. This file is similar (if not the same) as the game.log.
  5. Vic, Just finished a multiplayer session at KPHL using the latest Real Traffic schedule. Our sim starting time was 09:00 and according to the schedule we should see 40 departures during that hour. At the end of our session we had only handled 26 departures during a sim session that spanned 08:49 to 10:21. In the attached log, I'm seeing a lot of NO FREE TERMINAL messages for departing flights. I can understand arriving flights not having a place to park and getting this message, but I'm unclear to why departing flights at the beginning of a session are having this issue. My perception is that a full airport schedule severely hampers the flight bandwidth allowed by the sim. I'd appreciate you insight ... again, the log is attached for review. Thanks, Craig output_log.txt
  6. This is a Real Traffic issue - below are the problematic entries from tist_gaandlocaltraffic.txt. TJSJ, TIST, 12:32, CNT, N827BE, 0, 0, 0, 872BE, EIGHT SEVEN TWO BRAVO ECHO TIST, TJSJ, 13:32, CNT, N827BE, 0, 0, 0, 872BE, EIGHT SEVEN TWO BRAVO ECHO
  7. No. All Schedule Creator does is create a schedule file (with 5 year old flight data). You'll need to modify the terminal file yourself.
  8. 4O should actually be Interjet (AIJ). AIJ is in the Terminal file for KJFK but not in the Airlines file nor included in Real Color. Interjet also flies in/out of KLAX and KLAS but I don't see any flights in the schedule files. Here's another one for you Nyerges.
  9. Real Traffic SP5 introduced a new schedule for KPHL (thanks to Nyerges for doing this) but as a result there are a few house cleaning items that need to be fixed. FDX, UPS, EDV, and GJS all need to be added to the terminal file. Real Traffic needs to fix this. Additionally, a few white planes now appear that should be added to Real Color. These include PDT/DH3, JZA/CR2, ASH/CR7, FDX/AB6, and UPS/AB6. Actually the AB6's are peculiar. I see "AB6." in the texpack manifest files. However, in the airplanes file the AB6 is defined as A306. Maybe there is a naming issue of some sort. I'm attaching an example of each white plane to assist in debugging. Thanks! Craig
  10. For Real Traffic, the name of the file tells you the service pack (RT_Tower3D_Pro_SP5.exe). Craig
  11. Real Traffic is a single install. So, find your original email and click the download link which should pick up the latest version - in this case it is SP5. The recommended install order is the base Tower program (you only need to do this if there is a patch or if it is a brand new install), airport add-on(s), Real Traffic, Real Color(s). The only real gotcha is the installation programs. Nyerges has made their installers somewhat intelligent. Assuming you use the default folders you should be ok. FeelThere's airport installers seem to point to the non-Pro folder. So, if you have Pro you need to make sure and point to your Pro root folder. To add some clarification to Real Traffic. It is NOT airport specific. As airport add-ons are released Nyerges will create a service pack that will add the airport to the Airfields folder along with all the pertinent files (schedule, terminal, etc.). So, for example, I downloaded and installed SP5 for real Traffic which created the KLAS folder (SP5 also included a new KPHL schedule). If/when I get around to buying KLAS I will install it and I'll be ready to go (I shouldn't need to re-install RT). Hope this helps and doesn't cause further confusion. Craig
  12. The airports and Real Traffic need to be installed in the Tower root folder. The path Ricky mentions above is correct (i.e., do not install the add-on in the Airfields folder). Also FYI, there is only one Real Traffic. As new airports are released and you purchase them, you'll want to re-download the latest service pack (currently SP5) using your original email and links.
  13. Thanks for pointing this out. Hopefully Nyerges will see this and the other posts related to RT and put some effort into improving the quality of the product. Below are issues I found while just putting 30 minutes of effort into it. These could easily be fixed by Nyerges. 14. Definitely hasn't been fixed - complaints here and on Steam. But as they say, no log no fix.
  15. Gump doesn't mention Real Traffic. In your case, where is Tower installed? The normal default is C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Tower 3D Pro
  16. Just downloaded RT SP5. Looks like there is an updated schedule for KPHL and obviously a new KLAS schedule. But that's it as far as I can tell. Disappointed?
  17. Need? Probably not. Want? Totally up to you. According to Nyerges there are 16 new planes and 6 new liveries.
  18. Good deal, thanks!
  19. Yep, but it is probably defaulting to the C: drive and Tom is using the S: drive.
  20. Yep, this is in the controlling basics section. Not everything in this section is enforced by the sim but obviously good habits to follow.
  21. What new planes/liveries will be delivered as part of KLAS that we haven't seen in the previous airports?
  22. What we have here is an issue with Real Traffic. That particular flight number is in the schedule file 3 times. Once as an arrival and twice as a departure. The sim does not like duplicate flight numbers. MKE, ATL, 739, DL, 659, 14:54, 12:00, 1, DL MCO, ATL, 73W, WN, 1784, 14:53, 12:00, 1, WN MUC, ATL, 763, DL, 131, 14:52, 12:00, 1, DL ATL, GSO, M90, DL, 1466, 12:00, 15:54, 1, DL ATL, BWI, 73W, WN, 1784, 12:00, 15:53, 1, WN ATL, BWI, 73W, WN, 1784, 12:00, 15:53, 1, WN ATL, RSW, 739, DL, 2396, 12:00, 15:53, 1, DL
  23. The sim doesn't require a turn. If you look at runway approach plates you'll notice a missed approach procedure which will include a turn.Tower will more than likely instruct the pilot to follow this procedure or something similar as part of the go around. But, again, as Fizziii mentioned the sim only requires that you issue CONTACT DEPARTURE
  24. To allow us time to hunt down the appropriate charts for the new release, about what year will the 3D version of KLAS represent?
  25. With all the speech and installation issues rampant on the board, its' been a little quiet regarding airport fixes and the such. Any update on ATL (specifically Terminal F and RT)?
