ANNOUNCING TOWER! SIMULATOR 3

Recommended Posts

Dear Folks,

Finally we can officially announce Tower! Simulator 3, the next version of the Tower! franchise.

We just released 5 in game screenshots of the upcoming simulator today. We also plan to release more information, features and screenshots regularly so it's a good idea to follow us by signing up to our newsletter, following us on social media or visit https://feelthere.com/news/ often.

We can confirm the first included airport which is not surprisingly St Thomas (TIST) airport. We will announce more airports in the future as well as the new features. Currently we are not ready to provide any estimated release dates.

For screenshots and more information please visit https://feelthere.com/news/

Thank you

Vic

It sound nice but I'd still be interested in what specs we're going to need to run this.

Hi Vic, I am signed up for the newsletter, but haven't received anything since ZBAD came out.

Hi Vic: Is it possible to get larger pictures of the new version? At 4k on my system, they are quite small. I tried clicking on them but no larger version. Also, is the Real Traffic/Real Color add-on architecture continued in the new version or a different one? Need any beta testers?

Have a great weekend!

It looks like Word Press is rescaling the images to 1024px width

Right click, open the image in a new tab
Edit the URL, remove the dimensions

Are you far enough where you have a planned release date (with the idea that it could slip)? Also, roughly how much do you expect to charge for TS3?

And to echo what someone else asked, do you need any more beta testers?

If they are truly “offering this version as a training tool for Universities, students and air traffic control centers” then the functionality and operational scope will need to be expanded immensely (way more than what we asked for in the wish list) and, accordingly, the AI will have to be flexible enough and grow/improve by leaps and bounds to handle the “endless” scenarios these types of environments require.

I personally expect the new version to still be more in line with the "game" genre but I will be more than happy to be “shocked”.

As long as it isn't "sticker shock" when comes to the price of the computer system needed to play the game or for the actual price of the game.  Hopefully, they will create a version of the game that can be played on mid-end or less computer systems.  Guess we'll just have to wait for them to give us the recommended and minimum system specifications to know for sure.

This may be helpful

I started with Tower 2011
However my computer would not run Tower 3D

I purchased a new computer to run Tower 3D

Could you please provide details for the minimum computer specification required?
This may be useful in advance for anyone with computer systems that would be border line or would not be able to operate the next version

At this stage of the development it's impossible to tell the exact requirement. However we plan to add various options to reduce fps hitting features so slower computers should be able to run it too.

@FeelThere Do you plan to have clearance delivery as an option to control in the new game?

🙂 Please don't ask about specific features, we wont answer them. We try to release some information every once in a while on the social made channels and in our newsletter.

Thank you

Vic
