  1. I'd think you'd have better luck getting an answer if you posted in English.
  2. I think the problem with TIST and possibly other airports is gate availability. In an attempt to see what you are experiencing, I started a session at 13:00 and all 11 parking spots were full. Well, what this means is that there will be no arrivals until spots free up. Which is what happened. I'd have a departure and then an arrival would show up, but some arrivals got skipped because no gate was a available. So, I looked at the log and tried to figure out how the initial gates were allocated. I'm sure it's a tough algorithm to code but what I'm seeing is planes at the gate 3 hours in advance of their departure time. The most obvious example was JBU900 at gate 1. It had a departure time of 16:06. In reality this plane would not have even arrived at the airport yet. I've seen full gates as a problem before but never really dug into. It's a little clearer to me now what the cause is. Actually, what I've been doing is making smaller schedule files. For example, if I want to control starting at 13:00 I'll create a 3 hour schedule file that only has flights from 12:00 through 14:59. It works pretty well, but the airport can look/feel a little empty at times. I'll post my findings in a new thread and we'll see what FeelThere can do - this might be a tough egg to crack.
  3. Here's the hour-by-hour breakdown of the 100 flights in the schedule: Hour Arr Dep Total 07 1 2 3 08 1 3 4 09 1 1 2 10 3 2 5 11 6 4 10 12 6 3 9 13 7 3 10 14 8 7 15 15 6 9 15 16 4 10 14 17 0 5 5 18 3 1 4 19 1 0 1 21 3 0 3 Total 50 50 100 If you're not seeing these flights (which does not include GA) I'd recommend posting your game.log (in a new thread) so FeelThere can investigate.
  4. Actually, from what I see on FlightAware the TIST schedule is relatively realistic ... at least from a daily flight volume perspective. Yesterday, for example, there were 45 departures and 44 arrivals for a total of 89 flights. In the FeelThere/Nyerges schedule there are 100 flights (50 dep/50 arr). Additionally, there are 60 GA flights (28 dep, 32 arr). So, I would say a representative schedule (i.e., 100%) has been provided. And please note, I have shared my thoughts on this forum of the Nyerges schedules and they have been less than positive. However, the beauty of this sim is that we can modify the schedules to our liking (although we can't add new liveries and aircraft - which is another hot topic). And as I've shared with others, it is very easy to mod schedules. Another option is to go ahead and tackle the other airports and either choose non-peak times and/or adjust the traffic density slider. If you feel the above is too much work, send me a note with what you are looking for in a TIST schedule and I'll see what I can do for you. Craig
  5. Pro wasn't released until February, so I'm pretty sure the version you have is for regular 3D. I'd ask for a refund and get the current version from the FeelThere site. I've found that the FeelThere site is cheaper and they have sales. The FeelThere version contains an installer for regular 3D and Pro.The installer for KSAN is KSAN_for_Tower!3DPro_SP2.exe and is dated 3/29/2017.
  6. Attached is a side-by-side screenshot comparison of the wind indicator from another popular ATC game and the wind indicator from our beloved Tower!3D Pro. I'd have to side with Vic and RickyJ that the indicator is correct. There may still be predominant wind issues (I think KSAN was fixed, but KLAX is still in need of fixing), but from a pure indicator standpoint I think we're in good shape. I've also included screenshots that I've combined from the WindFinder site that shows the Phoenix Sky Harbor winds which are predominately from the east at 90°. A similar wind direction and indicator to the ones from the sims. And, yes, this is wind direction and not temperature! :) Craig
  7. Check out the topic in the link below. If you're not familiar with xml and using a hex editor, I'd recommend waiting for a fix by FeelThere. http://forum.simflight.com/topic/83156-tower3d-new-user-observations-and-some-stuff-i-fixed/
  8. I believe the post is asking if there a "dedicated" server for multiplayer. To my knowledge, at this point the only way to play multiplayer is to prearrange a session with a friend. Frank (DragonWin) offered up hosting a server that would allow people to communicate and arrange multiplayer sessions but the response was poor. I don't foresee FeelThere hosting a similar server so it will have to be up to the community but interest will most likely need to increase for it to happen.
  9. Looking at the log. The last plane that landed was MAX6312 which is a turboprop. 06:15:03 * MAX6312 => STATE CHANGE from STATE_NONE to STATE_INCOMING 06:15:03 * MAX6312 => Init airplane type: Turboprop_default code: DEFAULT category: I class: TURBOPROP Here's more from the log about it landing and exiting at F 06:53:41 * MAX6312 => STATE CHANGE from STATE_INCOMING to STATE_LAND 06:54:00 * MAX6312 => Landing cnt on runway: 25R cnt: 3 06:54:02 * MAX6312 => STATE CHANGE from STATE_LAND to STATE_ESCAPE_RUNWAY 06:54:02 * MAX6312 => ADD HISTORY: MAX6312 Successful landing. +10 pts 06:54:02 * MAX6312 => escape cross: F 06:54:14 * MAX6312 => STATE CHANGE from STATE_ESCAPE_RUNWAY to STATE_WAITING SET PlANE: MAX6312 COMMAND: MAX6312 TAXI TO TERMINAL 06:54:35 * MAX6312 => PARSE CMD: TAXI TO TERMINAL 06:54:35 * MAX6312 => STATE CHANGE from STATE_WAITING to STATE_TO_TERMINAL 06:54:35 * MAX6312 => Start calc route from: F start idx: 0 06:54:35 * MAX6312 => Calc from: F RT==null MAX6312 => ERROR: Road calculation error!! As Vic mentioned, 25L is a more realistic runway to use for arrivals as only about 2% of arrivals are ore on 25R. However, if I'm reading the xml correctly the landing length of the turboprop is 2000 so something is not quite right.
  10. If this for arrival taxiing or departure taxiing? For arrivals, I know at KLAX and KDFW that the Tower keeps control until the active runways are crossed. For example at KLAX on the South complex, most aircraft arrive on 25L and have to cross 25R to get to the gate. Tower maintains control until he/she allows the plane to cross 25R and then instructs the pilot to contact ground at that time. Is this 1, 2, 3 or a different scenario all together?
  11. Thanks for the update Vic. Mixing in some GA arrivals with the commercial arrivals will be fun and challenging.
  12. How is #1 False? The statement was "Not counting TIST, KSAN is the only airport where GA traffic was provided by Nyerges." I didn't say you couldn't create your own custom schedules ... you definitely can. I've done it for KPHL, I'll do it for KLAX when the the arrival bug is fixed, KJFK when I get around to playing it, and probably KSAN too (the Nyerges schedule is a little unrealistic in the same callsigns are used over and over ... for example you have N560US depart for Dulles and 30 minutes later it is arriving from San Antonio). But the reason I included #1 was that not all users know how to create/update schedules and that Nyerges didn't provide GA traffic for KLAX, KPHL, and KJFK which has a part in why you don't see much commentary on GA/local traffic. I agree that none of these are show stoppers, but that doesn't mean I don't want see them fixed ... especially #2 for me. I too am an enthusiast, but I haven't had time to play the last two days and I'm starting to get a little cranky! ;)
  13. I'll throw another guess out there, SE = Steam Edition. It will be interesting to see if there are any tweaks to the original. Based on the SE screenshot and looking at my version the profile selection is no longer there, there's obviously a new color scheme, and the version number is different. Speaking of which is 4.777.955 the current version of Tower!2011?
  14. I'd like to do more, but we have a few issues with GA/local traffic at the moment. Not counting TIST, KSAN is the only airport where GA traffic was provided by Nyerges. The GA arrival bug limits the amount of local traffic we see. LAX has very limited GA/Cargo parking spaces, especially without the cargo area defined. GA strip issue. FeelThere is aware of these and will hopefully knock them out in due time.
  15. If I recall correctly there were posts indicating the comments in Dick's schedule files might cause issues with 3D/Pro. Is that the case?
  16. This might be a little obvious, but make sure to uncheck Fullscreen in the settings if you want to stretch the window.
  17. I'm curious, it's almost two months later ... have you settled on which layout you prefer?
  18. Gotcha - may give that a try ... but looking forward to the SP. Having some GA arrivals in the mix will definitely add to the fun.
  19. I updated the file using SAN,SAN but they still showed up as departures and never came back as arrivals. Vic, GA arrivals appears to be a bug that needs looking into. Also, shouldn't there have been some GA traffic delivered for LAX, PHL, and JFK as part of Real Traffic? Thanks!
  20. I was playing around with KPHL and noticed that Air Wisconsin was under the United Express livery instead of American (Eagle) Air Wisconsin's current partner. Come to find out, United will be Air Wisconsin's exclusive partner in 2018. Is this an example of Nyerges future-proofing Real Color or just a coincidence? Waddya think? ;)
  21. Vic/FeelThere & TowerPros, I've been playing SAN lately and noticed only GA departures and no arrivals using the provided GA schedule. I assumed it was because all the parking spots were taken. I started playing PHL and since there was no "real" GA traffic provided by Nyerges, I created my own GA schedule. The same thing occurred ... only GA departures and no arrivals. But at KPHL there were plenty of available parking spots. So, I went back to SAN to run a test. I created a GA schedule to include one departure and three arrivals. And for the regular schedule at had one departure and one arrival. I began session at 07:00 and got the expected results ... one GA departure, one commercial departure, one commercial arrival. ... and no GA arrivals. Looking at the game.log it appears the GA arrivals aren't being picked up during the "search external data" step. I've attached the game log and the schedule files I used for this test. I assume this isn't an isolated issue but am curious to what others are seeing. Vic - thanks in advance for looking into this. Craig game.log ksan_gaandlocaltraffic.txt ksan_schedule.txt
  22. The IATA code for Piedmont should be US.
  23. I finally started playing around with KPHL. The 200 US Air flights are actually Piedmont (PDT) flights. Both airlines are in the xxxx_airlines.txt file with the IATA code of US. To avoid confusion US Air (AWE) either needs to be removed or commented out (//). Then when US/PDT shows up in the sim you'll see it in the American Airlines livery as expected. So, although the schedules could still use a refresh it's not as bad as we thought.
  24. A key point that Daniel brings up is that the resources.assets edits were on a Pro version with no add-ons. I dabbled in editing this file myself, but I have Pro with all the all-ons. So, what I am finding is that my modifications to KSAN (an add-on) were basically ignored where my modifications to KLAX were recognized. In both cases, I took a gate and changed the terminal assignment to something new and added it to the appropriate terminal.txt file. My assumption is that something in the Extensions folder overrides what is in the resources.assets file. Also, none of the "real" airplanes are in resources.assets file. I assume all the data for them is in the Extensions folder. At this point, I haven't found a file in the Extensions folder that is customizable (without diving into Unity development). So, although the file editing by Daniel is a great find I think the application is limited to the base version of Pro (no add-ons). Craig PS - Just for grins I changed the displaced threshold of KSAN runway 27 from 1810 to 5810 and 1000. Same result, changes were ignored and the planes arrived at the same location on the runway. I then changed 25L at KLAX from 0 to 5000 and it made a big difference! So, I'm back to the original resources.assets and terminal.txt files. Although, B738s exiting at taxiway G at KLAX doesn't seem right so a displaced threshold edit may be necessary (unless a landing distance change is more appropriate but that is dependent on Nyerges). Hmmm, looks like I'll be changing the displaced threshold. ;)
  25. Also, if I'm not mistaken, the Pro folder (and subfolder) properties may need to be updated to allow the current user Full control, Modify and Write permissions.
